    I used this pattern on Thursday on the salmon river. Fished it in the fast water and caught a beautiful steelhead ! Thank you

    Another classic tye,great video,this is 1 of those flies that can be tied in a bunch of colors,my favorite are red,buff,natural,black,olive,& yes purple,tight lines.

    very nice looking pattern may be hard to tie in size 12 that I have but I'm gonna give it a shot

    Chris you can use several strands of krystal flash, or any flash for this.

    This fly is very succesful:) i did 10 this fly....İ catched brown trouts in little non suitable for fly fishing river in turkey:)... İts very efective...thanks jim:)

      +Trouta Holic I would tie these down to size 12 for steel head.

    how did u split the feather

      Simply take your soft hackle (pheasant church window) and remove the tip. Tie it in with the stem facing forward.
