How to Recover Unsaved/Deleted Excel Files? Excel Document Recovery

If you need recover unsaved excel file, that's very easy by following the steps below:
(1) Recover unsaved excel file via recent workbooks
Step 1: Open a excel file, go to file menu;
Step 2: Select "Open" option, and then choose the "Recent Workbooks"
Step 3: Look for the unsaved excel file and save it.
(2) Recover excel file not save via previous version within Excel
Step 1: Go to the file tab and select info;
Step 2: Click the "Manage Versions" tab;
Step 3: Restore the file to the previous version from all the previous anto-saved versions excel files.
(3) Recover unsaved excel file via OneDrive backup
Step 1: In OneDrive and click on your Excel file, select "Version History" to see the files list.
Step 2: Select the file that you want to recover check the available earlier versions and choose restore.
If you need to recover deleted excel files, try the following practical steps:
(1) Use the "Undo" feature
You can undo a delete action in case of an accidental delete. Simply hit CTRL+Z shortcut on your keyboard to undo the delete.
(2) Restore deleted excel file from recycle bin
Step 1. Open Recycle bin on your device.
Step 2. Find and right-click on the deleted excel and select "Restore".
If you deleted an excel file and empty the recycle bin or you permanently deleted by clicking "Shift+Delete", there is no other methods except using a data recovery tool. Here we recomended Recoverit data recovery software to recover the permanently deleted excel files in simple 3 steps. Just simply download and follow to use.
Step 1: Select a location where your excel file deleted and click "Start".
Step 2: Wait a moment for scanning deleted excel files.
