- How to recover Excel files, that you forgot to save or can't find that file anymore or deleted. I hope you find this video helpful. If you cannot recover your Excel files then you might have to try data recovery software, here is my recommendation.
If you still cannot recover your Word file, that means MS Office auto save could not save your files. However, you can try professional data recovery software for your operating system type - Windows, Mac, iOS or Android Instagram & twitter

what should I do because my important workbook is lost, suddenly disappeared today, I daily use that save my all working in that book? that was pasword protected, when I started opening that, an error occured saying that your file may be corrupted or saved with wrong extension, and then suddenly disappeared from the folder where it was

Thank you mat I just followed your advice and the options methods. I found it where it was restored the missing files.
What happens if you have saved a file the previous day and it was perfect and you save a version of the file as a different file name each day to prevent losing data to stop errors with version history and file recovery. Then you go into a file, save it straight away to a new days version and the rows are locked when you didn't lock them and customer invoice details are repeated when you didn't copy and paste a row or delete rows? Luckily only having to go back to the previous day's version. What causes the Excel not to save correctly and change data overnight? How do I find out who saved the previous locked cell version? Should I password protect and not mention to anyone, including my colleague, who needs to work on the file, my password?

What to do if excel usually not autosaving files? Everything is configured for excel to save automaticaly but some times it saves, and other times it does not... :|
