- With the locals getting really into this game due to it's speed and ease of play, I kind of want to give my thoughts on the format as a whole.
Maybe it will interest all of you as much as us.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about underworlds before but never really knew what it was about, great video! Would love to see more Underworlds content in the future
I love playing Underworlds but the best part is the models. Some of my favourite models have come from this game.
Glad i bought ephilim, because now I have a really nice on foot gaunt summoner
Actually, if you play at the FLGS they have the board, dice, and tokens lying around. All you need is a model and card for that team and it all good. P.S they have it lying around since many people own many teams and don't want to collect cardboard at their home so they left it at the store you can just ask the store staff and pick it up to use for the game.
Love Underworlds, possibly my favourite of GWs games, its under rated.
I feel like if I wanted a faster skirmish game in the AoS universe, I'd get more out of Warcry and I could still use these models. The recent Metawatch for Warcry kinda cinched that.
That is a format I'm planning on looking at. I've heard mixed things, but a LOT of positives. Could be good.
Out of curiosity does that mean that the underworlds bands *have* or *are going to get* warcry rules?

loved the fromat have about 7 warbands and hopefully it doesnt go away becaue i want to get more sets in the future.

I'm playing UW with people from my local friendly hobby store. We started by playing KT, but we found it too complicated, we tried UW and we barely even think about going back to KT
I would not start Underworlds at the moment. Too many rumors around that GW is going to cancel the game system. Finding games for actual games is hard enough in most parts of the world. Finding games for out-of-support games is just not worth the hassle. So do not invest right now.
ive only seen the 4chan rumor, are there more or just multiple people reporting on the same rumor? cause ive seen a bunch of GW rumors before and atleast half haven come to pass. i only really pay atention to rumors brought forth from channels like Valrak (aparently he does know a leaker), other than that its mostly like listening to market analists tell you that something isnt as profitable as this other thing therefore its destined to fail.
I would be skeptical of such rumors. Underworlds is in a great place right now and getting the most active support it has ever received, with Metawatch, balance updates, and a presence at Worlds. I think the bigger question is what the relationship will be to the new AoS.
That leak was one of the most hilariously dumb write-ups I've had the joy of reading.
It also dropped during the March Madness of underworlds in which we got 7 new teams and 8 decks...
@@jeckles Still, the fact remains, that Underworlds is not doing good financially for GW. It is a too low player base and does not bring players to the bigger systems.
Those rumors do root in truths, that's why everyone, except for people on copium, are so eager to believe them.
i don't believe this is true, its just scare mongering because some things got cut and someone went wild on the theory crafting - even if it WERE true, the amount of content underworlds has is pretty vast at this point.
SkyTear, Super Fantasy Brawl, Judgement... It's sad that with GW dominant visibility these much superior games don't get the attention they deserve so much more than mediocre, blatant P2W that is WH:U.
