Having huge giant megarobots screaming "big death big death big death" over and over is so silly and yet so in line with what 40k is about, especially considering that they fight orks.
Well if you think about it, wah is the orcs belief, so in a way it could be a form of psychological warfare, with the titans screaming that they are big death, the green boys would probably begin to belive theybreally are just big death, possibly weakening the wah against said titan. The coolest thing about Ignatum is their crews were connected to nooshere only when connected to titans. There is great scene somewhere in Siedge of Terra of a tech priest trying to communicate with them in binary and they tell him to speak in voice.
Don't forget Xestobiax! Also,I'm making my own Loyalist Legios of Pre-Heresy Interfector, who are allied with Defensor and the Salamanders, and Loyalist elements of a few other Traitor Legions who got stuck in the warp and became living beings with powers like the Legion of the Damned and highly religious too.
A good friend had the idea of Ferrus Manus returning as a primarch dreadnought. Maybe there could be a D.A. of technology dreadnought that had the AI gutted out and every mortal who attempted to pilot it didn't make it. Only the mind of a primarch could pilot it. Maybe the skull of Ferrus Mannus were to be used to pilot it, and since he potentially leads the legion of the damned, could summon them as said primarch dreadnought. Perhaps he could be the size of a titan, and moved with enough dexterity to make the Eldar get flushed. Just an idea.
Titanicus by Dan Abnett is also great, featuring a small surviving pack of loyalist Titans from Legio Tempestus amongst others. Generally pretty interesting read, for example it depicts how Princeps form a connection with their Titan's Machine Spirit pretty well.
I can't imagine the fear Traitor Marines feel whenever they see a Titan that has a Genuine Personal issue with them. Like "Prepare to die, you fucking traitors.."

My favourite is the Legio Audax Ember Wolves. They used purely warhound titans and were basically the personal titan legion of the world eaters. They even use huge harpoons to bring down larger titans. They were known to be very aggressive and have a pack mentality.
The rule of cool makes the Titans completely practical in WH40k. Sometimes you just need capital ship sized weapons on the battlefield to take out the enemy's lines...and the ground underneath them for several hundred meters. You get the command bunkers that way.
I fucking love Legio Ignatum, they were the best part of mortis for me and one of my earliest tastes of Titans. The audiobook just gave me chills when they said they would walk, and they had a different look in augmentation. They only take what they need to pilot their machines, as that is the only connection to the omnisaiah they need, they dint even speak in binaric because they feel that is a pale imitation of their god engines
You forgot to mention Legio Invicta, the legion that came to the aid of Legio Tempestus during the Siege of Orestes in the book Titanicus. After reading that book Invicta become one of my favorite titan legions.
The Imperator Titan that wasn't killed by Tempestus during the battle for Adepth Zeth's forge still ended up getting destroyed while trying to outrun the magma pouring out from the Magma City
