Hey Logi guys. I have a bit of a tip/ glitch/ non-tax evasion tactic You can deconstruct buildables that are in the arsenal if you build them and it gives you materials to get vehicles just a tip :)
If infantry armed with absolutely insufficient weaponry engaging in hand-to-hand combat with a 40 foot death machine doesn't scream "Warhammer", nothing does.
What's funny is that 40k is one of the few sci-fi settings where having some halberdiers in your army could actually be a good idea for dealing with stuff like charging orks...lasguns can kill them but it takes a lot of lasfire for an ork to realize he's dead and keel over, and halberds stop them pretty damn effectively in WHF :P.
@ GaldirEonai They should be used like they are in Warhammer Fantasy: use polearms to act like a wavebreak against an Ork charge and then blast them to pieces with guns and cannister shot.
Well, in turth. A lasgun can rip right through a person's flesh. Just as the beam of light hitting the target causes the area hit to become super heated and POP! there is a hole in the chest or a limb flying off due to the body blowing and exploding. Thus ten guys with lasguns shooting at you at once. There would be nothing left of you. Ten THOUSAND guys with lasguns shooting at the side of an armored tank. It will look like it isn't doing anything. Yet each hit is causing the metal to heat up and more and more shots in the same spot. It will cause the metal to melt away and make it weaker. So we ramp that up to a Million guys with lasguns. Just a laser light show of death. Though people seem to write off the lasgun not being able to do anything. All because the shit the Guard are up against are generally wearing armor to protect them or they have hides that are dense and thick to shrug off the damage done to them. But if you fire enough shots at anything. You will kill it. Just Quantity over Quality. Then, again there are different models of Lasguns that are even more deadly to not only the poor bastard getting shot but could overcharge and explode if not properly used lol. But they can put down an Ork in one shot.
@@wizbromanakajeffthejoykill7635 Well, in fairness, T'au Railguns are pretty good and can out range a Lasgun. Though their issue the fact GW forgets that they wrote the T'au to be long range specialists and yet end up putting them in CQC against the universe.
