I think I’m cool enough, because that has always been *my* style in my head and not theirs - plus I think fashion expression is more suited to the mysterious, outcasted art nerds, as on your average extroverted person it seems like it would be more contrived and meaningless in comparison. My problem is more than I stand out - I want to as I like my style and can be a bit grandiose, yet I also don’t like eyes to keep focusing on me and wonder why I’m so strangely dressed compared to everyone else. Then again, I live in one of the trendiest most dynamic cities, so it shouldn’t matter.

Just experiment with everything that's the best way, it's okay to have multiple style interest for me personally I get a few pieces that I can use for a retro look but also can use for a street wear look. It's all about how you pair and match out your outfits, the look can completely change just by adding a sneaker compared to a boot or a hoodie compared to a button up shirt etc. And while you're going through this process you'll be able to see whether you like the look on yourself or if it's not really for you

Forget what your mom says just do you, I'm really into street fashion too you just have to ignore what family and friends say wether you don't look girly enough or whatever they say, following you own personal style will make you much more comfortable and confident in yourself in the long run. I just changed my entire wardrobe to underground k-hip hop fashion etc. Honestly street wear can look a bit masculine but you can make a boyish outfit look feminine by having a beautiful yet simple hairstyle like slicked back hair and a cute asymmetrical earring or curly side swept hair and a bit of makeup etc. Their is also feminine street wear. You can add overalls or sweat pants that have a cute color (that is also loose but fitted to compliment your body) in either a dusty pink or bright red etc. Jean skirts with rings or a cute distressed pair of mom jeans paired up with a oversized hoodie or a tight long sleeved top etc. Just go with the flow and have reference photos I'll link some videos of various street wear fashion if you need more advice and inspiration for your wardrobe 👌

To me a lot of those styles can work really coolly together. If you said you liked pink preppy stuff, fat minimalist hoodies and that stuff, then it might have been trickier. I don’t see why the average person is scared to dress in multiple ways though. I like basing style ideas off of different senses which helps me be more creative. For instance, a look that reminds me of the taste or aesthetic of peppermint or citrus, or perhaps the smell of lavender or rainy days. I hope this doesn't sound *too* weird haha
i just cut off my hair. from bob to pixie. that changed the way i look at my style a lot and now that i am really looking forward to fall and winter, really struggle with body image, but it still is kinda warm, it really makes it difficult! but it challenges me and my style, which i guess is good.
Sometimes I like primary colors and sometimes I like pastel colors and then I also love all black colors and my style is so diverse. Its so hard for me to find my style lol, I started by copying other people then I realised that I was being a hypocrite so I started liking shirts with quotes, I think I went through an unfulfilled phase of wanting to be a goth but then I liked my cousins style (I still do she is so pretty) and Ive been experimenting with off shoulder tops so now they are my new favourite shirt so I THINK I have finally found my style but my skin is so gross so I cant wear short stuff without feeling like people will judge me. Edit: If you cant find stuff you like in shops try looking online, I found my favourite stuff online so I highly recommend

I kinda consider myself "grunge", and I listen to the music as well. I wouldn't judge you if you don't listen to the music, AS LONG AS YOU DONT WEAR THE SHIRT OF A BAND THAT YOU DONT LISTEN TO. That is like my biggest pet peeve. Also, start with Pearl Jam (especially their song "Black"), also Alice In Chains (their songs "Nutshell" and "Down in a Hole"). I've been getting inspo for years and it's changed but the one I've found that past year or so has stayed constant and seems to suit me and just how I want to present myself but it's a mixture from so many styles cause the are som specific parts of a style I like and others I don't
i've always felt that i don't have the correct body shape and height to wear the style that i truely love! this video helped me realise that is actually quite a ridiculous way of thinking, as long has the clothing fits correctly it's going to look good! and the confidence that comes with wearing clothes you love is the one thing that really puts an outfit together. 💕 great video as usual!

I like basing style ideas off of different senses which helps me be more creative. For instance, a look that reminds me of the taste or aesthetic of peppermint or citrus, or perhaps the smell of lavender or rainy days. I hope this doesn't sound *too* weird haha
i just cut off my hair. from bob to pixie. that changed the way i look at my style a lot and now that i am really looking forward to fall and winter, really struggle with body image, but it still is kinda warm, it really makes it difficult! but it challenges me and my style, which i guess is good.
Sometimes I like primary colors and sometimes I like pastel colors and then I also love all black colors and my style is so diverse. Like, someday I'll wanna be very emo and grungy, then I want to be 90's aesthetic and then I also like the baddie aesthetic. So this video helped me realize I don't always have to pick one. 💕💕

Its so hard for me to find my style lol, I started by copying other people then I realised that I was being a hypocrite so I started liking shirts with quotes, I think I went through an unfulfilled phase of wanting to be a goth but then I liked my cousins style (I still do she is so pretty) and Ive been experimenting with off shoulder tops so now they are my new favourite shirt so I THINK I have finally found my style but my skin is so gross so I cant wear short stuff without feeling like people will judge me.
Edit: If you cant find stuff you like in shops try looking online, I found my favourite stuff online so I highly recommend

i love the grunge style but i dont listen to grunge music, i want to start listening because i always liked that kind of music even i doesnt listening to it usually, so i'm afraid of start using that style and people judge me because i dont listen to the songs, and i'm afraid of just starting to listen because of that and dont enjoying the music, just for obligation
water princess Try soft grunge then. People won't judge you, if you go for full raw grunge, there are some mean people... soft grunge is nice.
Just try out some grunge music then even if you don't like it that's better than being ignorant if someone asks u about it

I kinda consider myself "grunge", and I listen to the music as well. I wouldn't judge you if you don't listen to the music, AS LONG AS YOU DONT WEAR THE SHIRT OF A BAND THAT YOU DONT LISTEN TO. That is like my biggest pet peeve. Also, start with Pearl Jam (especially their song "Black"), also Alice In Chains (their songs "Nutshell" and "Down in a Hole"). Some great grunge songs on the chill side. Hope it helped!
