Old video but we 155’s are still out there… very dependable units. Thank you!

Im curious why one would need to replace flapper valve discs? What are the symptoms of an Autotrol 155 with flapper valve discs that need replacing? I have one and im not sure its functioning properly.

Nice video...I have a question for you,I have a series 155 and checked the 28f-bb injector and the 25f-10 backwash assembly,10''-54'' resin tank...my problem is when i'm in backwash mode my brine tank starts to fill???Otherwise when I'm in regeneration mode everything else cycles as it should and when completed the softeners brine tank holds steady till my next regeneration which I've been doing manually every 7 days.About 30 minutes into backwash mode it will empty the brine tank and give about 20 minutes after brine is emptied of rinse. When it enters brine it fills up to what I have lbs of salt set at but.But during next regeneration it adds to the brine during the backwash cycle???Hope this makes sense, can you help me out?

25531 thanks. I'm not familiar with all the systems and models. But if your system is similar to mine, a cam opens and closes each valve. I would guess your cam is not centered where it should be.
