@@StratoJunon Haha yes :') It would ruin the chapter line on the video so I thought I'd best make timestamps here! If anyone needs something specific, easier to find this way.
@@AbsoluteEse would like to mention that CEM really dosen't do all that much Eureka stuff anymore, so while you can talk about it there, it's more likely that you'll be sent to CAFE from there instead. Edit: All this really just relates to Crystal DC stuff.
This is absolutely fantastic. Thank you so so much for taking the time to not only make this guide but level your character in there twice because of lost footage. I've only just dipped my toe into Eureka and found a real lack of information about it online. This is hugely helpful. Thank you!
I originally tried Eureka 4 years ago but got overwhelmed and quit. I decided to give it another try because I really wanted the Elemental Tank armor and this guide made everything seem so much simpler than I thought it was. Now I'm in the last zone, I've been having a blast, and I've made new friends with the people I've met in Eureka. Absolutely phenomenal guide :D
thank you so much for the kind comment, makes me happy to hear people are still out there making friends in Eureka and that the guide has been helpful!
I've used this guide to travel through the entirety of Eureka and I just want to say that I cannot thank you enough. There are so many videos and guides I've seen that I have struggled to understand but you have structured and explained this video in such a well-organized and easy to digest manner. It really means a ton to me that you created this guide, thank you so much!
Thank you soo much for leaving this comment, I'm really really glad you found the guide useful! I hope you enjoyed the journey, time for some relic grinds now that you're 60? :D
This is a seriously fantastic guide. I just started Eureka for the first time last week, and getting even half the information you provided was difficult. I know I'm not alone, as I've seen many others looking lost in Anemos. I will definitely be sharing this with anyone I meet. Thanks very much for making it!
Thank you for the comment, I really hope this guide helps the remaining journey! Its a problem of this content's design (but also what makes it interesting), that it relies so much on community and cooperation. So, when its old and outdated, like it is now, it's so difficult to start with appropriate information. I'm just hoping this makes it easier for someone, Eureka is so much fun even longterm after you get to 60 ;)
Hey ! Sprout here, and still on free trial This guide has been my go to for the three first parts of this adventure, just reached Hydatos, only some farm left before the BA ! I was hyped by the community aspect that you explained, but didn't realize it would be THAT good, bonded with new friends while farming together at the beginning of a new part or during fate train in the end of each section Will recommend if I can get my friends to play this game Love from another Au'ra, thanks for everything
oh thank you very much for the feedback! I am actually working on (very slowly) a free trial addendum to this guide so I'm hopeful future free trial players will have easier time as well... I'm glad you got to find some people to play with despite all the chat restrictions, amazing! Good luck with the rest of the ride!
Thank you for the feedback! I hope it helps you further, feel free to let me know when you hit 60, how it went, and if you have any tips from your pov :D
I just stumbled across the eureka unlock quest and was looking for a modern guide - this is beyond what I was expecting to find! This is incredibly well made and you explain it very clearly. I'll definitely be using this guide - thank you so much!
Such an amazing guide, i never felt like i could go into eureka at this point in the game but seeing this video showed me that it was possible and after a couple days of hard out grinding im at the end of it. Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to make this guide!!!
You did iiit, hell yeah! Let's go, I'm so happy to hear the guide helped out someone, thank you so much for sharing. I hope you get to enjoy a lot more of Eureka if you're going for the weapons or gear, it only gets more fun the more you do it :) And if not, I'm just happy the guide helped you get this content done in some way \o/
This was super helpful! I just made it to Pyros and it definitely has been a lot more manageable than I was expecting thanks to your vid! Thanks for making this!!
Thanks for this really great guide! Eureka was very confusing to me at first but with this Video it all seemed clear and made sense. It really is a lot of fun when you get into it, let's hope they add something similar again in Dawntrail :D
Eureka will be a nice side game to enjoy amongst leveling up all my Jobs over the next few months. Thanks for your excellent guide, and for your perseverance in doing the extra work to re-create the lost video!
Thank you for this wonderful video. Your editing, humor and clear information made Eureka feel a lot less intimidating! I've always wanted the beautiful, glowing Aiming chest, but I was too nervous to try after how confused I felt when I unlocked it. But I went in a few days ago after watching this video and had a great time! I met several nice people who invited me to leveling parties and ferried me around to NMs once I was high enough. I'm already level 17! Thank you again for all your hard work!
Eyy I'm so glad to hear you ran into a friendly taxi in Anemos already! Anemos can be a bit of a rough start sometimes, I'm happy that the guide has given you a good starting point! Good luck at getting your chest piece! I know I go over it in the video too, but since your goal is the shiny aiming chest, its worth keeping in mind the requirements. Definitely try to finish Anemos weapon before you move on to Pagos, it'll help a bunch later! You'll need: 1. Anemos weapon 2. Upgrade it to Pagos weapon (name: Elemental) 3. in Pyros and later you don't need weapon upgrades anymore, just finish quests+uncover all logograms at Drake in order to unlock the gear. Buy base pieces in Pyros, and upgrade them to shiny in Hydatos :) Hope this helps and gooood luck!
just wanted to say how fantastic and useful this guide was as a solo player, thank you!💙i went into eureka anemos blind and found it difficult and intimidating, but your video explained all the little subsystems and ways leveling works in each region so well, it even made solo pagos tolerable xD i just got to 60 and finished the hydatos story quests and i had your guide open every time i was leveling, it was immensely helpful and i appreciate you making such a good guide
Ohh thank you so much for the kind comment and the feedback! I'm very glad the guide was useful and that it helped as a "guidebook" along the way, that's kind of how I imagined someone would use it, so it makes me happy :) I hope you get to experience some BA soon and good luck if you do!
God this is so perfect. Eureka's the only storyline I haven't gone through yet cuz I found it more intimidating than Bozja. Really appreciate you setting this up!!
This guidw on top of eureka tracker and the discords has been extremeley helpful since zi set my sights on Eureka for the first time last week amd I've come back to this for every step of the way and it's been super helpful. Ty for putting the time to make this!
Thank you for leaving a kind comment, I am very glad the guide and the rest of the Eureka community has been helpful! The tracker is such a jewel, isn't it?? I am happy the site is being maintained for so long, as its super super useful.
This guide literally carried me through Eureka my first play through and now I'm watching it again on my alt, thank you so much and thanks for not giving up
Thanks a million for the guide and links to resources! Got back into Eureka the other day, and I finished quest progression in Pagos. I’m starting Pyros today ^^
This guide was beyond amazing. I was so scared and intimidated for so long. My friend and I used it every step of the way and it made Eureka feel like a breeze. You put the guide together incredibly well. It was so approachable, and honestly just felt like you were our best friend guiding us through the whole way lol! We love Eureka now and look back on our journey being really special all thanks to you! I have used a lot of guides throughout my gamer life and I was in awe of how well you made this. It is truly impressive! Thank you again! ❤❤
Awh thank you so much for the very kind words. I am glad you decided to tackle Eureka and made it! In my eyes its always the people in Eureka that make it enjoyable content for other people, so its nice to see people enjoy the journey there and potentially share the tips to others in the instance too, making someone else's day :D
I don't think I would have been able to get through Eureka without this incredible, comprehensive guide that helped me fall into Eureka myself too! This was perfect in getting me all the way through Eureka finally and I'm so so happy with the incredibly smooth and fun experience. I'm almost done leveling through Hydatos, and BA is gonna be a blast. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for leaving this nice comment, I've had a long day and this helped my mood quite a bit :D I'm glad the guide helped you and I really hope you enjoy BA soon!
How in the name of heck do you only have 195 subscribers making content like this?! Baffling. Well I'm definitely becoming one now after this fantastic guide. I most recently cleared the first Eureka zone so this is gonna massively help going forward.
Aww thank you! Well its simply because I rarely make any content haha, i used to run a discord server and now i’m mainly focused on Twitch, so youtube is fresh waters for me. I hope the guide really helps!
@@SueTainsh haha yea we love our niche topics in my corner of the xiv-universe :D It's alright though, this is very much all a hobby and I'm just happy that people who need the guide run into it
I had heard horror stories about Eureka and was hesitant to get into it until recently. Your guide made the whole experience very enjoyable and smooth. Next on the agenda is Bozja and I will be watching your guide on that as well. Thanks for all the tips and tricks. Keep up the great work. 👍
Thank you for the comment, I'm glad to hear the guide made the journey more enjoyable! I hope you find the same in Bozja, Bozja is thankfully a lot more straightforward so with or without a guide I'm sure you'll find the place a bit easier. Just wear some mud boots :D
Followed this guide from beginning to end over the course of two weeks. Today I just got Ozma! Thanks for the guide! It was clear, concise, and really easy to follow
You're a godsend, I just started Eureka for the first time and without your guide, I truly would be at a loss. Your soothing voice, your easy to follow explanations and your very well organized in-game visuals, inserted pictures and linked resources are everything I need to get through it with half my wits still intact - I'm using your video step by step, making notes, going back if something was unclear or I need to remember a certain part, taking quick photos with my smartphone to quickly look at while in the instance to find quest locations etc. and let me tell you, I am grateful beyond words, I whole-heartedly appreciate all the effort you put into this piece of work. ;v; Since Eureka isn't as self-explanatory as Bozja - as I was forced to realize - I knew I needed a guide and for a solo player like me at that. Normally you need to collect several sources of information and still figure bits and pieces out yourself, but you managed to put it all in one and I couldn't be happier - thank you so, so much. You're saving a life here.
Ohh thank you so, so much for this comment.. the way you describe using the guide, with notes and going back to specific points, thats exactly what I had in mind when I was making the guide - or at least how I was hoping for the guide to be used. Like a little book of references when needed on the side 😁 Once again thank you, I am really glad its been helpful and I wish you all the best progressing through!
Thank you so much for this guide, it was the motivation I needed to pick up Eureka again after completing Anemos. Despite thinking I'd never make it this far, after 3 weeks on and off I just got my Shiny Orb today!
This is an excellent guide, and very well structured. I love that each chapter is broke down into topics, and that they appear on top !!! It's very helpful !!
Thank you so much, i am very glad its helpful! I imagined it to be used as a handbook sort of, so you can jump around through timestamps as needed, so glad to see that its useful that way :)
Thank you so much, I’m only upset I didn’t find your video before stepping foot in anemos. Still pagos and pyros have been such breeze, I really appreciated the tldr after each section that I could use to refer back after watching the whole thing. I’m nearly done with my weapon with ‘just’ the hydatos fate grind left and it’s been about 4-5 days thanks so much!!!
Happy to hear the guide helped! And thank you about the tldr feedback, im glad its been of use :) i wish you all the luck grinding hydatos, its been years and im still waiting for them to buff the fate rewards /playdead haha
You are amazing for this. Been a Eureka addict for ages now and have been levelling a lot of people as well as multiple alts, and this guide is it! Great job! Will add that if you have a high level friend, the lvl 61 Squibs don't have exp drop off from 55-60 as long as there are only 2 people in the party. For a light party the drop off starts at 58, but still faster to then do one party member at a time than farm other mobs imo.
Thank you for the feedback! Happy to hear another addicts approval haha And that's a great piece of advice, thank you! I normally did those either solo or in larger groups during leveling events so I never noticed it, it's amazing how much there is still to learn about Eureka even after all these years :D
Thank you for this guide!! Finally was all the information in one place I needed to fully commit and ended up leveling from 20 to 60 in a weekend thanks to finally having all the tools to go from zone to zone. Really helpful and well done! :)
I went into Eureka initially to get my final cards for my card mount and this guide helped me immensely in getting through Anemos through Pyros! Very comprehensive and easy to follow. Now, I'm going back in to finish Hydatos so I can do BA and fight Ozma so first thing I do is pull this guide back up. Thank you for your help Eureka was miserable to start out but your guide made this process much smoother.
Thank you so much for this guide it helped me a lot with this instance, Heading to Hydatos soon and i just spent a few hours in Pyros. thank you so much❤
Thanks so much for this guide. i've watched this video so many times since starting Eureka, and have been able to share the knowledge with so many other new adventurers along the way too.
Aww thats nice to hear, thank youuu! I’m sure people appreciate having someone around to help, the community aspect in Eureka is so nice to be able to rely on
Thank you Miss Ese for this fantastic guide. I am fairly new to FFXIV and only recently started playing the game about 3 months ago. When I first started my Eureka journey I wasn't enjoying myself and found the content intimidating. But with the help of your guide I have come to fully enjoy what Eureka is. Even going as far as to make it part of my daily routine. Thanks again for all the tips you compiled into this video. I will definitely be recommending this for my friends in the future.
A really great and comprehensive guide! It'd be great if people are doing more Eureka because of this, so thank you for your service! (And sorry you have to deal with my DE antics on that 2 man soup asdfjkl;)
Hello, I just wanted to say thanks. Me and my partner had just started eureka this month. Your guide has been a big help along with the links you posted. Also felt like a god doing reflect farming lmao
Thank you so much for this super comprehensive guide, I just started leveling in Anemos had to stop at Elemental lvl 13 for the night. I hope to complete a relic while I’m in there grinding, and eventually take on BA once I make it to Hydatos for that iconic Ozma mount. I’ll be referencing this guide along my Eureka journey from start to finish. There’s just really nothing else like Eureka in-game. Hopefully since Dawntrail is bringing back field operations/exploration zones we can get something as cool as this. Thanks once again for taking what must have been a lot time and work to put this together. 😊
Thank you for the lovely comment! I hope you continue to enjoy the ride, I agree that Eureka is so unique to FFXIV and I really hope DT field instance delivers on the same feel :) I wish you good luck levelling and with your relics and definitely go for BA once you’re max level! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it
You are amazing! Thank you for this guide! Little info I can find on Eureka thats this detailed, and broken down for a newb like me. Looking forward to future content, keep up the fantastic work! 👏 ❤
Hey I'm glad you're finding it useful! Oh I think the other video(s) are very useful as well, just presented from a different POV and style :D Not many people are as nerdy about Eureka as I am so my video may be too much to someone's preferences haha, I am just glad when it helps someone. Good luck leveling!
Thank you so much, you just carried me all the way to Hydatos in a matter of 3 days.. I might have a problem (also I might have found my new favourite content)
Just finished up my first day in Anemos (I only died and released once!), and am leaving with 2x weapons finished up to the Anemos step ☺this guide has been so helpful, to the point where I have been passing on the knowledge to others inside the instance. Saved someone hours of grind with your advice about not needing Anemos armour for the Elemental armour, haha! Materia DC is small enough that it's easy to be the only one inside the instance, so the guidance you've given here has been invaluable and saved me a lot of accidental deaths. Thank you very much Ese. One mildly related thing I'd mention is that I did come across a fair few Free Trial players, who can't use Shout chat or the Marketboard, so some of your advice on prep (potions of harmony, seals/cloths) before Anemos would be difficult, if not impossible for them... not really sure if there's any workaround for them, though? As for no shout chat, I just waited a bit longer if they were in relevant level range of an NM pop 😆. Regardless, thank you once again. Looking forward to Pagos tomorrow! 🥶
ohh thank you so much for leaving such nice feedback! I am really glad the info from the guide is helping out, and *especially* glad you're sharing the tips further :D Thats really the spirit of Eureka as content, the ability to help each other is better than what any guide can provide. When Light DC Eureka was "dead", these small random groupings with a few people I'd meet were how we started a discord that actually grew into a much bigger community over the years, so you never know, things on Materia may yet pop off with time :D Sadly, this guide has been made a few months prior to the free trial addition of Eureka, BUT I did actually make a free trial "addendum" to the guide (on my channel too), that covers in more detail on when to join a party, how to avoid aggro and how to craft your own potions of harmony and such. It's not the ideal solution, but hopefully those who need it - find it. As a player who can communicate though, you can use the /say chat to them, they can use /say chat back (you just need to be really close), sometimes that comes handy. Eureka on free trial is basically like hard mode haha, a bit like in the "old days" where we had no special items added...
Thank you, and yes it's a bit long, i tried my best haha, had to cut out a lot of stuff too :') I hope the timestamps in the first comment help focusing more on smaller bits that people might be looking for!
@@AbsoluteEse Hello again it is now later ;) I finished my relic atlast! leveling was so smooth in all zones thanks to you! even pagos was pretty cool. Now its just BA left and i feel pretty done with the content.
I've gone through Eureka for a few jobs now and love the content. Watched the video cause I wanted to hear other's people's experience with it. How am I just now learning about /magiaattack and /magiadefend lol
I am not surprised as there is just sooo much depth to this content, I learn something new every once in a while and I've been doing it on and off since release :') I'm glad you managed to find some new info still \o/
RUclips should highlight such content crators/videos like this that make such a ultra high quality content. I don't know if I ever seen such a great guide to ANYTHING! Very high video/aufio quality, timestamps, links for sources that helps too, corrupted footage that has recorded again, just to show everything... and this is just the surface. I don't even know how much time and work you spend on this video. Like and sub defenitly deserved! Thank you so much for this amazing video!
Eyyy gratz on finishing Eureka leveling! Time for BA? Thank you for the lovely feedback, I hope you enjoy rest of your relic grind (if there is any left)
@@Urager true! and that is good, the guide is here to help with the basics and for when you're stuck solo, but if there are people around it can be a lot more fun to play in a group. Not necessarily faster but definitely more chill :) Take a good use of it, Eureka is probably the most social combat-content in the game, outside of the hunts maybe :D
This guide has helped me immensely! I've always been afraid of Eureka because of how opaque it can seem from the outside. I recently decided to collect Triple Triad cards for the mount, and almost stopped because of the cards that exclusively drop from Eureka. I've been grinding for about a week, and just reached Hydatos. I'm looking forward to finishing my grind to 60 so I can run BA and get my shiny orb while I'm at it.
This guide is a godsend! I was intimidated to do Eureka becuase I had heard that it's very long to grind and it's dead content. It took me just 4 days to go from 1 to 60 and it's anything BUT dead! BA and Ozma alone are worth the hassle, on top of the weapons/gear and the money you can make. I personally found it fun to do in general, but I wouldn't have it that far that quickly without your help, so thank you!
Aww thank you so much for this feedback, I really appreciate hearing it :) I'm glad you're having fun in Eureka and I wish you many more fun weeks for the relic grind or anything you'd like to do in there :)
Thank you for this fantastic guide. This really covered everything needed to get into Eureka. This content has been amazingly fun, with a great story, and I'm really glad that I'm playing on the light DC with a terrific community. Pull times are respected, item-drop NM's are advertised on Discord, and people are for the most part very nice and helpful. As a relic grind, Eureka far surpasses both ARR and HW, not to mention EW. Haven't tried Bozja yet, but if it's half as good as Eureka then that's more than enough.
This is so cool! The reflect L strat is op and fun to play with, Kinda refreshing when u can do sth out of regular farming. I hate farming, and the guide just helped me to suffer way less xd. Can’t imagine the effort needed to make this great video, really appreciated!
Thanks for the guide. I was able to go through Eureka pretty smoothly on the free trial. I was even able to clear BA and get my first +2 elemental gear. The Free trial limitations just made it more fun for me.
Ohh hell yeah! Happy to hear back from a free trial player, Im glad you enjoyed it. I’m planning on making updated guide when i level my own free trial character soon (finally finished SB lmao), so looking forward to experiencing it that way too.
Thanks for this guide! I was initally scared to start Eureka due to the lost of EXP during deaths. The first day I tried it, I managed to get to level 13, before dying at the quest location, and being scared off Eureka for a while. After 2 weeks, I saw that the Discord in my region was hosting a BA run that coming weekend, and my motivation started back up for Eureka. I was still scared, as I was solo-ing everything outside of FATES. However, your guide was great in showing how everything worked, and one thing that was especially useful in this guide was how to get to the quests' locations (Rarely any other guides do this). I managed to finish leveling from Anemos to Hydatos in just 4 days (Short of 18.5 hours in game time just for Eureka in total), and joined the BA run today. Cleared it and got my shiny Demi-Ozma mount! Told myself once I cleared BA I would come back to this video to show thanks! Hardest part of Eureka, at least for me, were the quests/aetheryte tuning. Grinding levels were not tough (albeit boring), but it was nerve-wrecking when the quest points are near enemies multiple levels above you, and a few hits from them would result in your death... Hence, my biggest appreciation for your quest segments! And I fully agree Pagos being the "best" zone in a way, as it was the most memorable for me. Without a doubt, I can say that the Eureka community has some of the best people. I was never left behind once (Always got res'ed when I died), players waiting for FATEs, and more experienced players helping out newer players like myself. Now I try to do what others have done for me, helping with res, spawning FATEs, and helping newer players. Once again, thanks for this! I would not have started Eureka without this guide as it was intimidating. Sorry for rambling, it has just been so memorable and enjoyable that I had to blast it all out!
First of all - congratz on your Ozma mount! Really happy to hear the discord run got you remotivated and that you challenged yourself to do it in such a short amount of time - and made it! Big gratz :D Second - thank you for the kind and positive and descriptive feedback. These kinds of comments are my favorite, giving me a little bit of understanding to how "using the guide" went and what I can keep/improve next time I may think of making a guide. New field instance soon, hope you enjoy it too! :D
This actually got me into working on eureka after having bought the Kirin Osode 2 years ago 😢 Thank you so much for the guide, it's so helpful that it gave me the confidence to finally give this thing a try...and solo too! I'll come back here when I get my tank armor and Ozma one day. Thank you again!
Hi@@AbsoluteEse !! I'm back again! Just wanna let you know that I got my relic, tank armor and I had my first clear of BA today!!! Demi-Ozma is finallyy mineeee 😭Thank you so much for this video! It truly was a great and condensed guide for everything I need from start to finish. Ty so much and I hope you have a pleasant day :D
Hell yeeeah, gratz!! I'm really really glad the guide was helpful, and super nice to hear back from you, i appreciate it! Enjoy the best mount in the gameee @@blubirbs
I was just talking to my FC about trying my hands and Eureka and Bozja, so of course I started to look for some really good comprehensive guides so as to be better prepared. I have to say you made this digestible enough that the task does not seem all that daunting. I still remember the groaning from my last DataCenter I was on about how difficult Eureka was and I just put it off saying that basically when I have the time to spare I will run it. So as of today since I have gone through all of Dawntrail, I will be starting my first jump into Eureka this week so I will let you know how it goes since I have decided to use your guide as the template to run it solo. Thanks for the great info and wish me luck as I try to get the elemental gear and that orb mount!
Goooood luck! I really hope you find the journey enjoyable, some people love it, some hate it, but with the knowledge here at least it should be feeling less confusing along the way (I hope!) I'll also be, coincidentally, holding a leveling event on OCE (so DC travel is available to everyone) on the weekend 17th/18th August, during daytime EU hours. If you happen to be around maybe you'll catch some of the event there or on Twitch to ask additional questions if you happen to need any help :) I'm testing if Dawntrail changed anything, but as far as I can tell, it didn't :)
@@AbsoluteEse Well day one about the two hour forty-five marker I achieved level eighteen! I had the magicite board filled and unlocked Pagos. The only thing I have left is to max the relic and achieve level 20!! Your guide is/was amazing! This was all done with an almost dead Anemos I think I only had like 3 or 4 Fates that popped and people where around to help out. So your guide is freaking amazing! I wish I could endorse it more.
@@dpmoore99 ohh im so glad to hear the guide is helping you out! As someone who also leveled a few times in expansion-downtimes, I really wanted to make something solo friendly but its always nice when the instance actually gets busy. Good luck with the rest of the journey! :D
Getting through anemos with my equally elemental newb friend was simple. Using just the challenge log, we knocked that out in a month or two iirc. Now in Pagos, that experience felt like a windfall as our progress ground to a halt almost. So this couldn't have come sooner as we've been dreading getting back into the grind now that we have some free time again. Definitely going to be soaking up those exp potions lol
Best of luck to you both! I suggest taking a look at chapter 2, where experience scaling is covered, so you get an idea of how to go about it in a party of 2 (or more if you pick up friends along the way). Pagos can be a bit slow but Pyros and Hydatos as a duo should zoom past! :)
FREE TRIAL INFO: I'm working on a specialised guide for you guys, but until then, feel free to use this one. However, with inability to use market board or shout chat, it will be slower and a bit more challenging than the guide shows. For now, my advice is: 1) Make sure to stock up on Eurekan potions in the Anemos base (Eurekan Provisioner NPC) 2) Focus enemies 1 level higher from you when you grind, not more. 3) Do your best to locate elemental fairy (exp buff + dmg buff + regen for an hour), it will help a lot 4) If you have alchemist level 60, you can craft potions of harmony (10% exp buff) once you're in Pagos and onwards. You'll need to do some FATEs or bunny fate to get the materials from lockboxes, so if you see an active FATE train, try to stick to it. 5) If you go to Player search menu, you can edit your Player status - change it to "looking for group" when you need a group. It may help to get invited to this FATE train. 6) Dont join parties with people that are over 8 levels above yours, unless you're actively doing FATEs with them. You wont be able to grind regular enemies with this much level discrepancy. 7) Keep an eye on your challenge log and prioritise finishing it before Tuesday reset, above all else 8) Be ready for the grind :)
This guide is incredible! Just made it to hydatos with no problems at all. Thanks you for being so clear with this guide! Makes me wish someone had a similar guide for bozja😂
Ohh thank you! I'm glad to hear it helped, really. Oh I recently did Bozja on my alt again and honestly, its not really that deep haha, in comparison to Eureka game gives you a lot more info and you basically just join FATEs and finish quests when they unlock. I think the longest part is the unlock requirements :D Maybe some day I find willpower to make a guide but it didn't inspire me much haha (in comparison to Eureka that i have a lot of love for) Good luck if you go for it!
When I levelled all the way through Eureka on Chaos I stubbornly ignored a lot of the better known pieces of advice - no Osode, levelling potions only when I could craft them, no buying logograms, no reflect farming. Even as someone who actually found themselves drawn immediately to what Eureka offers (slowing MSQ progress for it even), I had to take a break by the time I got to Pyros. So, uhh, maybe don't do that! It's quite a shock each time to be loving the higher levels of each zone and then to find yourself on the level treadmill each time. A levelling guide is a really useful resource because honestly, levelling sort of gets in the way of the fun! My goal was always to get through Eureka, complete the Samurai relic visually and do BA once for the Ozma mount. So naturally, I have a full set of Elemental +2 striking armor, Monk/Samurai Physeos weapons, and I've started work on a 3rd weapon, while lining up Tanking and Casting armor sets and watching the pings for Cassie spawns. Oh, and I've now got an alt on Light in Pagos. I'll be back to take your advice on reflect farming soon 😅 (But seriously, how can you not just sporadically revisit Eureka to work on your next relic when you've sunk all that time becoming so powerful!)
Yeahh I get this! I always see people asking "what is the point of leveling when you need to collect crystals later still", but... it's just sooo much easier to level first and then grind backwards. AND a lot more fun, the stronger you get. So rewarding and active. And I hope you enjoy another eurekalt journey, letsgo!
Great guide thank you for your hard work!! I would potentially add role specific actions like caster's sleep or phys ranged's leg graze. This can help a lot with reaching those tricky spots sometimes!
Oh yeah, for sure! I was considering writing some of this stuff but I ended up cutting it out cause of the sheer length of the guide :') However, definitely a good call, Eureka is one of the (perhaps rare) pieces of content where these crowd control skills can be useful. thank you for the comment, hope someone also finds it useful!
This video is super useful. I'm currently level 31 in Pagos, but the tips in this video really sped things up for me without ruining the content. I have to say I'm having more fun in Eureka than I ever did in Bozja, hopefully I'll be able to do a BA run in the not too distant future!
eyy glad to hear you're having fun in here! And yeah, I agree, Eureka is just somehow more active and social and I always prefered it too. BA discords still run strong so at the end, definitely check out the list of discords in the description and join the appropriate one for your Data center, you'll 100% make it into a run :D
Thank you SO MUCH for this. I'm pretty solitary, if I'm playing with anyone else it's usually just my husband or a friend of ours, so I though Eureka was just barred to me on account. I really appreciate this guide!
Hell yea, it works sooo good! Frankly this is one of my favorite DRK weapons and also eureka relics in general, especially the non-glow version. The glass bit on it is so good
Thank you. The guide is very helpful and Ive watched it multiple times. Im at Pagos mow, level 28. Im actually really enjoying the whole experience. I do understand that now it has echo so originally it would of been a much longer grindy process but regardless i like it. Looking forward to the next area and hoping to do BA ultimately for the mount. It is the best looking mount. If i can get it, ill find it difficult to ever replace it with anything that good.
Oh i'm so glad to hear you're enjoying it! Imo, Eureka is at a really good place now with how moderately busy it is + echo really helped to bring it to an enjoyable level :) Good luck with the rest of the grind, once you're out of Pagos you'll be zooming! And yeah, fully agree about the Ozma mount, good luck getting it! As long as you join a discord for your data center, you'll definitely get it pretty soon, runs are happening often these days
Thank youuu, i really appreciate the feedback and glad this was of help! I am in the middle of making a similar Bozja guide so there we go, maybe more stuff comes out hehe
@@AbsoluteEse I hope so! Because after I get my full set for my tank and dragoon thats the next area I will be tackling :) looks chaotic with the solo duels? That I see people do on videos for the mount I want lol.

Thanks for the very detailed guide! I am on console, hopefully it's similar to your guide. Fyi, you have a nice voice! Very easy to listen to 👍
This is absolutely fantastic.
I'm just hoping this makes it easier for someone, Eureka is so much fun even longterm after you get to 60 ;)
Hey ! Sprout here, and still on free trial
This guide has been my go to for the three first parts of this adventure, just reached Hydatos, only some farm left before the BA !
I was hyped by the community aspect that you explained, but didn't realize it would be THAT good, bonded with new friends while farming together at the beginning of a new part or during fate train in the end of each section
Will recommend if I can get my friends to play this game
Love from another Au'ra, thanks for everything
oh thank you very much for the feedback! I am actually working on (very slowly) a free trial addendum to this guide so I'm hopeful future free trial players will have easier time as well... I'm glad you got to find some people to play with despite all the chat restrictions, amazing! Good luck with the rest of the ride!
Thanks for doing this. I just started Eureka about 3 days ago and it's helpful. I didn't know you could switch between defensive and attacker mode.
What a timing! I just uploaded it yesterday :D I hope it helps you out!
This is a masterpiece 👏
thank you very much, watching this made pagos alot more bearable. your voice is also very nice and easy to listen to
Great guide! I fondly remember leveling from 1-60 in just 3 days with Solo Warrior :D
Eyyy nice! And thank you! War is sooo good for this, isn't it? Definitely the comfiest tank option for this
Thanks for this really great guide! Eureka was very confusing to me at first but with this Video it all seemed clear and made sense. It really is a lot of fun when you get into it, let's hope they add something similar again in Dawntrail :D
Ohh, man. This came at the perfect time for me! Thak you so much for your hard work putting it together!
Eureka will be a nice side game to enjoy amongst leveling up all my Jobs over the next few months. Thanks for your excellent guide, and for your perseverance in doing the extra work to re-create the lost video!
I wish you the best luck! Hope that the guide helps the journey a bit :D And the extra work made it more fun and informative for sure
You'll need:
1. Anemos weapon
2. Upgrade it to Pagos weapon (name: Elemental)
3. in Pyros and later you don't need weapon upgrades anymore, just finish quests+uncover all logograms at Drake in order to unlock the gear. Buy base pieces in Pyros, and upgrade them to shiny in Hydatos :)
Hope this helps and gooood luck!
just wanted to say how fantastic and useful this guide was as a solo player, thank you!💙i went into eureka anemos blind and found it difficult and intimidating, but your video explained all the little subsystems and ways leveling works in each region so well, it even made solo pagos tolerable xD i just got to 60 and finished the hydatos story quests and i had your guide open every time i was leveling, it was immensely helpful and i appreciate you making such a good guide
Ohh thank you so much for the kind comment and the feedback! I'm very glad the guide was useful and that it helped as a "guidebook" along the way, that's kind of how I imagined someone would use it, so it makes me happy :) I hope you get to experience some BA soon and good luck if you do!
Bless you. I will use this guide eventually
God this is so perfect. Eureka's the only storyline I haven't gone through yet cuz I found it more intimidating than Bozja. Really appreciate you setting this up!!
Same, I tackled Bozja first and just completed it TODAY. About to do Eureka next.
Fantastic video, perfectly segmented, and helpful advice. Thank you.
This guide literally carried me through Eureka my first play through and now I'm watching it again on my alt, thank you so much and thanks for not giving up
Thank you for the kinds words and wooo, good luck with your eurekalt! :)
Thanks a million for the guide and links to resources! Got back into Eureka the other day, and I finished quest progression in Pagos. I’m starting Pyros today ^^
Best of luuuuck! The fun bit begins
Exactly what I needed. Incredible job Ese. Thank you.
Excellent guide! Thanks for the effort you've obviously put into this.
Best guide for Eureka 2023. TY so much
I don't think I would have been able to get through Eureka without this incredible, comprehensive guide that helped me fall into Eureka myself too!
@@AbsoluteEseniche topics make it more difficult to get subs too I bet
@@SueTainsh haha yea we love our niche topics in my corner of the xiv-universe :D It's alright though, this is very much all a hobby and I'm just happy that people who need the guide run into it
Cant tell you how thankful i am for this! Wonderful job! Subbed😊
Letsgooo! Gratz on Ozma! :)
Casually started Eureka for the first time a few weeks ago. Your guide has been so helpfull. Thank you!
Im happy to hear! Thank you for the comment and I wish you all the best luck leveling :)
Like a little book of references when needed on the side 😁
Once again thank you, I am really glad its been helpful and I wish you all the best progressing through!
Thank you so much for this guide, it was the motivation I needed to pick up Eureka again after completing Anemos. Despite thinking I'd never make it this far, after 3 weeks on and off I just got my Shiny Orb today!
Big gratz on Ozma and on finishing Eureka! 🥳 Thank you for the comment, really, I am always happy to hear the guide helped
Thank you for this amazing guide! I just unlocked Eureka today and had no idea what it was - this makes me want to really give it a go. Thank you!
Eyyy best of luck on your Eureka journey! If you finish it let me know how it went and I hope you enjoy ☺️
Happy to hear another addicts approval haha
And that's a great piece of advice, thank you!
Eyy I really hope it helps! Best of luck leveling!
Thank you very much for this feedback, i am happy to hear you’re at the finish line and i hope you get your Ozma soon! Good luck :))
Thank you so much for this guide it helped me a lot with this instance, Heading to Hydatos soon and i just spent a few hours in Pyros.
thank you so much❤
eyy congratz to making it to the last phase, i hope you get to enjoy Baldesion Arsenal soon :D
Aww thank you so much for the kind feedback, I appreciate it! I’m really glad the guide helped you and that you found Eureka enjoyable in the end :)
Wonderful video, it almost gave me the motivation to go to eureka
Almost 🤣 Thank you! If you ever muster enough motivation, I hope the guide proves useful
A really great and comprehensive guide! It'd be great if people are doing more Eureka because of this, so thank you for your service! (And sorry you have to deal with my DE antics on that 2 man soup asdfjkl;)
omg that was youuuu haha, that was fun honestly! After so many BA runs it feels good to try something new :D
Hello, I just wanted to say thanks. Me and my partner had just started eureka this month. Your guide has been a big help along with the links you posted. Also felt like a god doing reflect farming lmao
Eyyy thank you for sharing, glad to hear it was helpful! And yess isnt it the best feeling?? :D
I hope you continue to enjoy the ride, I agree that Eureka is so unique to FFXIV and I really hope DT field instance delivers on the same feel :)
I wish you good luck levelling and with your relics and definitely go for BA once you’re max level! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it
You are amazing! Thank you for this guide! Little info I can find on Eureka thats this detailed, and broken down for a newb like me. Looking forward to future content, keep up the fantastic work! 👏 ❤
So glad I found your channel. Much more helpful than the other popular Eureka video.
Thank you for this very detailed guide, I just got back into Eureka and want to get my friends into it and this guide is the best I found!
Thank you so much, you just carried me all the way to Hydatos in a matter of 3 days.. I might have a problem (also I might have found my new favourite content)
Woooo gratz! Thank you for letting me know, and welcome to the Eureka anonymous addicts club :') Enjoy your stay haha
This guide was *so* helpful for my first time in Eureka. Thank you so much for making it.
Thank you so much for the comment, I am very glad the guide helped! Hope you enjoy rest of your grind (if there is anx left)! :)
Great guide 👏
Like many others, I just wanted to say thanks for this! I was lost playing the game until I found this guide for sure!
This guide pulled me through Eureka, thank you so much!
Gratz on getting to the end! Also thank you a lot for the feedback, I hope you enjoy the rest of your grind (if there is any left)
When Light DC Eureka was "dead", these small random groupings with a few people I'd meet were how we started a discord that actually grew into a much bigger community over the years, so you never know, things on Materia may yet pop off with time :D
Sadly, this guide has been made a few months prior to the free trial addition of Eureka, BUT I did actually make a free trial "addendum" to the guide (on my channel too), that covers in more detail on when to join a party, how to avoid aggro and how to craft your own potions of harmony and such.
This guide got me through all of Eureka thank you so much for this
A lovely vid. Bit long in the tooth but that is Eureka thought. I will share it with friends and likely use it myself when I take my alt through it.
Thank you, and yes it's a bit long, i tried my best haha, had to cut out a lot of stuff too :') I hope the timestamps in the first comment help focusing more on smaller bits that people might be looking for!

I don't know if I ever seen such a great guide to ANYTHING!
Very high video/aufio quality, timestamps, links for sources that helps too, corrupted footage that has
recorded again, just to show everything... and this is just the surface.

@@Urager true! and that is good, the guide is here to help with the basics and for when you're stuck solo, but if there are people around it can be a lot more fun to play in a group. Thanks for your very useful video, helps me a lot, without going the long way. now I'm addicted to Eureka!
Eyy fellow Eureka anonymous member haha, welcome aboard 😄 I’m glad you’re enjoying the content, and happy the huide helped!
Eyy I’m so glad to hear! Almost there, i wish you all the best luck getting the shiny orb! :)
Thank you. Ive saved the link because I'm going to get into this soon.
I really hope the guide helps! Good luck :D
A little less suffering is always the aim! :) I’m glad the guide helped and that you found pieces of Eureka to enjoy!
And it’s as you say, communicating with ppl makes it way more enjoyable!
You earned this sub with this video! So HELPFUL
Big gratz :D
Second - thank you for the kind and positive and descriptive feedback. These kinds of comments are my favorite, giving me a little bit of understanding to how "using the guide" went and what I can keep/improve next time I may think of making a guide.
New field instance soon, hope you enjoy it too! :D
I would have never gotten to Hydatos without this guide. I subscribed and shared this with a bunch of people. Still relevant for 2024!
Thank you so much for the kind comment! Really really glad to hear
Best guide for Eureka, you explained everything properly thank you so much.
Thank you very much for the comment, i’m glad it was helpful!
Glad to hear the motivation is back, I really hope the guide helps and can't wait to see you get your Ozma :) Best of luck!
You're an absolute legend for this!!
I really hope you find the journey enjoyable, some people love it, some hate it, but with the knowledge here at least it should be feeling less confusing along the way (I hope!)
I'll also be, coincidentally, holding a leveling event on OCE (so DC travel is available to everyone) on the weekend 17th/18th August, during daytime EU hours. If you happen to be around maybe you'll catch some of the event there or on Twitch to ask additional questions if you happen to need any help :)
I'm testing if Dawntrail changed anything, but as far as I can tell, it didn't :)
@@AbsoluteEse Thank you for the luck I am sure I will need some of it. 😋
This is one of the densest and most well structured resources I've ever seen for any game, good lord
FREE TRIAL INFO:
I'm working on a specialised guide for you guys, but until then, feel free to use this one.
However, with inability to use market board or shout chat, it will be slower and a bit more challenging than the guide shows. For now, my advice is:
1) Make sure to stock up on Eurekan potions in the Anemos base (Eurekan Provisioner NPC)
2) Focus enemies 1 level higher from you when you grind, not more.
3) Do your best to locate elemental fairy (exp buff + dmg buff + regen for an hour), it will help a lot
4) If you have alchemist level 60, you can craft potions of harmony (10% exp buff) once you're in Pagos and onwards.
7) Keep an eye on your challenge log and prioritise finishing it before Tuesday reset, above all else
8) Be ready for the grind :)
Thank you. F2P can be rough, but I love the ssf element of it.

What a phenomenal video. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for the detailed guide! I wanted to help a friend to level up ^-^
This guide is incredible!
I think the longest part is the unlock requirements :D Maybe some day I find willpower to make a guide but it didn't inspire me much haha (in comparison to Eureka that i have a lot of love for)
Good luck if you go for it!
You are an absolute gem.
Thank you for this guide, it was really helpful!
I'll be back to take your advice on reflect farming soon 😅
(But seriously, how can you not just sporadically revisit Eureka to work on your next relic when you've sunk all that time becoming so powerful!)
@AbsoluteEse I'm on Chaos so asturents of Baldesion look like they might be the ones. Also I was trying to place that accent too? Where are you from?
@@Thunderwolf666 yup yup, them or Double Edge, some good options on Light too.
I am from Croatia, I doubt you'd have guessed that :')
@AbsoluteEse I was going to guess Slovenia so maybe I was close! My brother got married in Dubrovnik! Small world, huh?
@ eyyy small world indeed! Have a great rest of your journey in Eureka, basically-cousin-in-law! 🥲
Thank you SO MUCH for this. I'm pretty solitary, if I'm playing with anyone else it's usually just my husband or a friend of ours, so I though Eureka was just barred to me on account. I really appreciate this guide!
i'm so glad to hear it a help you on your solo journey! Good luck and I hope you enjoy Eureka (unless you're done already) :D
I got that DRK sword for same chest piece as you lol, it just works so well
Hell yea, it works sooo good! Frankly this is one of my favorite DRK weapons and also eureka relics in general, especially the non-glow version. The glass bit on it is so good
Thanks helped me figure out what to do for the first mission
Thank you for this wonderful guide, it was quite helpful.
Thank you for the feedback, I am glad it was!
Thank you so much you're the best and never stop with the videos.
