Well we didn't got the exact theme at first . But mom and I did got a feeling this was something to do with bad omen or luck and bad lucks . What really got us hooked was the character OJ and his eye expressions throughout the movie. Plus the design and idea of the alien creature or celestial body or being was very new and fresh . No extra CGI common alien designs we've seen over the years. It was simple yet powerful. Mind-blowing work .

If people don't like your work that's fine, people wont, people also wont get it or understand it, some people will and that's all that matters.
The trick with most accents, if you can't understand them, is to set the playback speed to 0.75 until you can understand it easily. Put it back to normal and you should still get it at that point.
I understand why a lot of people disliked Nope. It felt like Jordan Peele wrote a bunch of memorable horror scenes based on important themes, and then wrote a movie around it. Characters felt like they existed simply for metaphors. Still an enjoyable horror film though
