Possibly the best interview you did so far. Gabby is witty, gracious and most of all someone that hold’s himself accountable. He works on himself to get and be better with the final goal of helping others. What a refreshing change in the beauty space and what a great role model.

I had a FWB situationship with a guy who ended up date r*ping me. I was telling the story to my best friend the next day all excited that we had gotten to that point in the "relationship" to have "surprise s*x". My best friend looked at me with wide eyes and said "I don't think that's what happened". But I refused to believe it for years. It wasn't until I saw an episode of SVU and casually said to my husband, "oh yeah, that happened to me too". He was ready to unalive that man. I didn't want to see myself as a victim because I've always been strong and built like an Amazon woman. I do heavy lifting and can fight and of course I could never be a "weak victim". But seeing Gabriel tell his story made me see the errors in my mentality and feel a bit more whole. Still scarred from it but now I don't feel as ashamed and want to tell my story to others so that they don't end up as delusional as I was. I hope one person can see this and knows that they're not weak and can breathe a little more freely. Sending you all love and safety.

I feel like everyone just wants to relate to something or put a title to what they feel. If you didn’t feel that way for years, then it probably wasn’t like that. You ended up being manipulated into thinking something bad happened. Don’t walk around in a victim mentality feeding off others speculation

Cherryberry44 after some reflection, if you feel & believe things weren't respectful, communicative, trustworthy, & consensual. How you feel about the situation is valid. Everyone deals with events in their lives differently. It's not a victimized mentality. It's called survivorship. You're a survivor in the story of your life; which you chose to share some of it. It's not weak; in fact, it takes strength & courage. You can be silent & strong, or vocal & strong, but it's strength nonetheless.

@@JessicaRodriguez-zy5gzthis is such a stupid thing to say, it's actually ridiculous. anyone who knows even a single thing about the science of trauma and the human brain understands that MOST people who have had mental wounds inflicted on them, are in denial about them in some way. therefore this "advice" is completely unnecessary, it's reductive, and it's simply unscientific. psychology exists for a reason. your brain will prioritize what it needs to survive in the short term, this does not include processing traumatic things that have happened to you. however, that can absolutely erode both your mental and physical health over time. assault, r*pe, abuse, these things have definitions. you do not get to "feel" your way out of being a victim of a crime. I hate to say this but it dosen't really matter how you feel, if what was done to you meets the basic criteria for any of these things, you are a victim by fact. It dosen't matter if you don't feel like a victim or if you don't feel like what happened to you was as bad as others situations. other people are not a factor in your own brains biological response, and I would say the majority of people are not self aware enough or educated enough on the subject of psychology to realize how deeply these mental wounds and trauma actually effect them, the effects fly under the radar and influence your unconscious actions and reactions. thinking something is normal or not as big of a deal as it actually is, does not make what happened less traumatizing. if you abuse a kid and they grow up to push their feelings away and deny that their parent was anything but good, that does not make it reality. it just means that person does not feel mentally ready to accept that they have been mistreated.

@@JessicaRodriguez-zy5gzso you’re trying to manipulate her into thinking nothing happened ? You don’t know the circumstances, if it was absolutely nothing then I’m sure her loved ones wouldn’t have reacted that way…regardless SHE has the autonomy to reflect on her own experiences and come to different conclusions without being labeled as manipulated. Not your place to speak on the circumstances around what happened. That’s kind of a foul thing to say to somebody coming forward with their story.

Is he “defending his friends” in dramageddon 1 and “starting the conversation” with dramageddon 2 or just being messy? 59:14 he says he inserted himself into drama to be messy. In this interview he minimizes and twists the Nikita situation. Minimizing your intentions or lying is not being accountable.
There is also so much hypocrisy..
He says he stands up for people, but does a campaign with Jeffree, a known abuser and horrible person? Jeffree’s actions were well known at the time of the campaign. Tati was ridiculous, but him making fun of her crying had a particularly biting and mean undertone to it.
Gabbi is talented, gorgeous, abd funny, but I don’t trust him.

Gabi, my abuser was similar to yours. Never texted, always used phone calls.. always touched me around other ppl, or would shove me into an empty dark room or closet. This was from age 15-24. Finally, when I was 24, I stopped working under him & his wife.. (yes, his wife was always around as well & to this day, she probably still doesn’t know.) he was my theatre teacher turned boss. He doesn’t teach anymore, so I don’t feel the need to get justice. If he still was teaching young girls, I would come forward. But seeking justice? Idk, I’ve just always stayed quiet & told very few ppl. Idk why.. I don’t know why I never spoke out. And now I’m 31. Unfortunately, even with treatment & therapy, I’m still affected to this day. I didn’t know I was being groomed until I was older, didn’t know that term applied to me too. Anyway, hugs & kisses to you for being so brave & sharing your story. And thank you Jen Luv for giving him a platform to do so, and also a safe space. Thank you. ❤

I sat in a newly mandated sexual harassment class for the state of Connecticut and realized that I had been harassed several times by different people at the work place. Before the class I went to the town and made a complaint that I was being bullied and harassed. They told me they weren’t going to do anything to the person because I didn’t have the text messages anymore. The messages weren’t the only things he did. They did nothing. I then had to sit in the class with my supervisor that I complained to ( who did nothing) hearing that by law he was supposed to do something. Also by law it didn’t matter if I had messages or not. Also by law they weren’t allowed to retaliate ( they did). I had to leave the class and go cry in the bathroom. I had no idea what to do.

I loved this interview, but I do wish there had been some pushback from Jen on certain points. I feel like Gabriel is very set in his ways, and the way that he treated Nikita with the whole "called her crazy" situation was insane. I don't agree with Nikita, but no one deserves to be disrespected and gaslit (in the literal sense of the word) like that. He "apologizes" with stipulations of "I'm not apologizing if you don't acknowledge that I wasn't talking about this one instance" when that doesn't matter. He called her crazy on a public platform- he did not specify during that live that he was referring to 2019. And then he turned it around on her and started berating her for her past treatment of him when the whole conversation was about him using inflammatory language targeted towards someone who had recently had a mental health crisis. Of course she is going to think he's referring to that when he calls her crazy. That whole section of the interview really rubbed me the wrong way. It felt so pigheaded (and somewhat manipulative) to choose to die on this hill of specifying what era he was calling crazy when he was the one who was in the wrong and owed her an apology for that. Full stop. She may have owed him apologies for previous instances, but that was not the time to bring that up. It was really just shifting all of the blame off of him, simply because he "wasn't talking about her mental break." Really disappointing. If someone did the same thing to him, he would be calling them crazy and manipulative, but it seems like the same set of rules doesn't apply to him just because he "keeps it real" and is always "speaking his truth." I can appreciate frankness, but humility is also extremely valuable, especially when you're talking with people who have been through so much mentally. Again, I'm not a Nikita rider... I do not fuck with her. But at the end of the day, she's still a human being who didn't deserve to be talked down to and have her feelings discredited in that moment.

That said, I don't mean to hold Jen responsible for not calling him out- honestly if I were her I would have just side-eyed and kept my mouth shut because hearing that, it's clear that he's not in the mindset of taking criticism for those actions... I just want him to have some clarity about that situation because I am all for personal growth.

Oof. He’s a great interview- articulate, funny and knows how to tell a story but that revisionist history re: Nikita is some nasty work. He said something catty and mean about a so-called friend to a large audience! In the middle of a public, catastrophic meltdown! Instead of just acknowledging it (taking some of that accountability he talked about) and apologizing he has to spin it as fair play for past grievances? The defensiveness is a shame given how introspective he is in other parts of the video. She sounds like a difficult person to have a relationship with but that doesn’t mean she deserves to be humiliated by people who claim to be her friend.

I'm going to tell you everything that went wrong in these situations straight up and you all take what you want from it. First everybody was competing with each other to be the number one with all the views and all the sales. The second thing is that do not ever blur the lines of coworkers with friends. The final thing is do not post or upload anything that you do not first confront the person up close and personal about and get that actual sense from them before you form your honest opinion about them. Truth is that life ain't fair and you can not fight anyone's battles for them. Only take people down when they come for you first, then you don't have to feel any type of way going forward. Only ever apologize if you really 100% know you are wrong, because if you still have residual feelings of any type of doubt; like something isn't sitting with you just right. By all means do not take that path of doubting yourself and doing something that you are not comfortable doing. The world was here before all of us were here and it will still be here when we are all gone. People's natures will never change because of free will and always remember that you can not control anyone in this world but yourself.

He comes across really well spoken. Glad he spoke his truth but I don’t really see where he’s coming from with calling Nikita crazy. If you call someone who you were close friends with “crazy” after they just had a very public meltdown- obviously they’re going to assume that that was the situation you were referring to because no further context was given when he made that comment. So to me, Nikita’s feelings were valid. It doesn’t matter what the context even was- it was still a hurtful thing to say about someone you were once best friends with. I feel like yes he was acknowledging what he said was hurtful. But he wasn’t taking accountability for his part in that situation. Which for me seems like he wasn’t really sorry for saying that. He tried giving her an excuse because he had been caught saying something hurtful. And that comes across as kinda two faced to me. Cause if he meant she was being crazy to everyone before the Miami situation- why did you not talk about that with her privately and also if thats what you meant truly- clearly it was something you still felt hurt about enough to call her crazy with no context even though she’d just recently had a breakdown. If that’s what you believe anyway. Cause I don’t believe that. I feel like he impulsively said that, realized it was hurtful, and tried to roll it back when he was called out directly for it. At which time, he gave her a b.s. excuse that that wasn’t the situation he was talking about- like the situation even mattered. You don’t say that about a so called friend of yours. Even if yall weren’t that close anymore.
Does any of that make sense? So it makes me question everything else he has said- cause he seems to have a clever way of saying things to make himself seem like he’s holding himself accountable and responsible for his actions and words while also skirting accountability on other things that make him look like a bad friend at times.
But I’ve taken offense to people calling me crazy before too so maybe I understand more how Nikita would’ve felt in that situation.

Whooo wasn't expecting that... as I was 🎧 in Walmart, shopping and I had to leave my cart. I broke down crying... My🤍 hurt so bad for you as you were sharing your experiences and the tremendous hurt you've endured and held, essentially alone for so long. Gabriel, I TRULY hope that sharing has given you a sense of relief, and so much more support than you could have ever anticipated. I hope those closest to you wrap you in love and understanding.
Jen, thank you for being YOU! So kind and understanding, and making him feel safe enough to share.

Wow this video reminded me how much the makeup industry has changed. I forgot about a lot of the good influencers like Desi. It all got messed up once they started branching out then jealousy kicked in and now it’s every man for themselves the GOD mentality now. I always thought Gabriel was more down to earth.

At the end of the day this is one guy waxing lyrical from a very biased base point. Also he has a personal axe to grind with TW as well. The truth as always is somewhere in the middle.
Having said that i can tell crocodile tears from a mile away
    1. JC is the biggest liar of all - he’s a brat, I don’t think he is a criminal but I think he was entitled and used his power to manipulate others including younger (straight) men.
    2. TW had an Oh f* moment and that’s where her tears came from.
    3. JS is a manipulator but I do think he had real receipts.
    4. SD ultimately took the biggest fall for this but he didn’t need to be involved
    5. GZ chose to get involved in something that didn’t involve him at all and I’m still not sure why.

Jeffrey is such a pot stirrer. He’s older than all these kids except Tati, so I hope he’s matured since all this. I think it’s creepy for these older, more famous influencers to get into the drama. I can’t even watch Jeffrey anymore. Mostly for what he did to Trisha, but he’s treated everyone like crap. I used to love him. Also props to Gabriel for standing up to Tati. She’s almost old enough to be James’ mother. She was mad about “vitamins” and nearly killed the kid.

I just freaking LOOVE Gabbi!!! He’s the absolute BEST. He ALWAYS keeps it 100. Lol he’s the first (& honestly only) influencer who I’ve bought merch from 😂. I got a light pink (almost beige pink) hoody that says “Send Nudes”. Still have it to this day😂.
2:46:52 the thing that annoys me so much about JS is he talks about how much he’s changed & how much he’s grown but the first chance he gets drum crawling out of his “pass mistakes” after people give him ANOTHER chance is he goes right back to being a shady little B. Like he just doesn’t learn & how will never change.
