I own a DB-10 (DB10BGFDE) and can't get small groups with it. I guess it's just me, but I hope it's the ammo. I have tried various brands and grains of ammunition, but it has not worked yet. Thank you for your video and greetings from the Netherlands. Advice is welcome!!
@smokey-qq6hd Again operator my buddy can get a 3/4 group at 100 yards with this exact rifle. Plenty of other videos showing at least 1 inch group at 100 plus yards: accuracy comes down to the shooter
Dude I'm slapping over lapping shots at 75 yd with mine. Of course I have a much more stable bypod. I didn't mind the trigger pull for a 308. For me though its not about slapping off a bunch of rounds at once. So I don't need the light trigger pull. I did however change out the stock immediately because I felt like the one it came with was a little too wobbly.
As a reloader I understand your pain! I just build my own AR308 18” barrel and use some midway 168gr and 40.5gr of benchmark at 100 yards I get sub MOA. That being said I have a ballistic advantage barrel which I think it’s a little bit better quality barrel than what diamondback offers. You can try to keep working a load for it or maybe invest in another better quality barrel…. Good luck and also if you can try getting a little bit faster burning powder Ram Tac or Benchmark.
I agree. I believe it’s the barrel. When you can buy just the barrel in 18” fluted stainless steel for $110.00 direct from Diamondback you have to assume it’s not a precision marksman barrel.
If you want better averages shoot at least 50 or so rounds of each ammo before changing, your scope looks big, if you keep changing ammo you will have to shoot 20 or so just ot sight in properly.
Love mine the “trigger” is mil spec really not that bad. I agree on the stock I upgraded mine to a b5 systems bigger cheek weld easier to see through the scope.
im 25 this is my first ar10, it comes down to you mastering how it operates instead of coming up with minor excuses. Practice with it i mean really put rounds in for hours.
Every gun has it's flaws, don't matter if it's top of the line. People whin about it like it's the end of the world..We figure out some week points and replace them with other after market parts out there, once we do that we're fuckin happy..I'm very happy with my DB10 , replaced trigger n stock n put Riton scope on it, I've got nothing but good things to say about than whin about your purchase..
I am shooting 168 barns out of my m&p10 and holding 1.2 at 200 yards wich is were you should be shooting a .308. I can hold a 2 inch group at 500 no problem. Rifle is nice maybe try lightening up on the crimp and making sure your bullet jump is on the money
@michaellewis5624 I actually am down to 1.78 at 500 with smk 175 grn now. 43.6grn varget. And that is more than I should be saying in the first place. If you put in the work you get the results. I am not even close to being competitive against guys in there 70s shooting 6mm creadmore and grouping .87 and under at 600yard bench rest and 1.8-2.3 at 1k yards. There is a lot that goes into it. Practice practice practice. Ar10 platform was a battle just to get all the parts made to match grade tolerances then you find the load for that rifle and cross your fingers you didn't waste money. I can group 4 inches standing with said rifle. My 7 year old son shoots 243 in 600 yard bench rest and averages 2.2" idk. Eric Cortina videos may help you and as I mentioned practice.
Say you don’t know what you’re talking about without saying it. You’re probably think 2,500 rifle is worth the rice tag. I’ve had those stop working after 2 range trips even a gunsmith couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it cough cough POF. I’ve shot better groups with the same rifle he has
You need to maintain same sight picture, breath control, and trigger squeeze

I think the accuracy sucks because of operator error!!
Beautiful gun though 😏
No my buddy has db10 same thing best group he can get with the best loads is 1.7inxh

RCBS small base sizing dies and trim length 2.005 +/- .002 and a nice collet crimp you will be 100% reliable brother 👍

Agreed it’s probably his bipod. I had the exact sample one upgraded it to an atlas helped a ton.
Im running an Aero m5e1 with a faxon big gunner 18" barrel. I consistently shoot sub moa 5 shot groups with 168gr razor cores.

Nice gun. I have same style upper but lr308. That stock is wrong. What weight bullet does it like? Try some 125 gn bullets.

Mines loves 168gr
I have had good accuracy with 168gr.

I use 44 grains of IMR4895. With 165grain Sierra HPBT. Sub MOA. I have a Gen III PSA10. Get a Larue MBT straight bow two stage trigger.

Yea those are loose grps. I can take just bout any factory ammo and shoot a 1inch group w my m&p10 308. At 100yards it Drives tacs
have you tried anything in 110gr?

2 inch at 500, make a video, I think that's BS!

It's a good looking MSR for sure and it seems like triggers are a problem with a lot of rifles these days.
Do you want some cheese to go along with that wine
Lol 😆 I love cheese 🧀
did you have problems with jamming when brand new ?
No jamming.
Try 190gr bullets.....
It looks a bit wimpy...
What a Beeeast!
Nice looking gun though
its beautiful and well designed but it has a crappy trigger and butt stock. LOL
It think it’s probably 50% you and 50% the gun... diamondbacks aren’t exactly known for their quality

Must not of touched it before purchase, the charging handle and cheek well, some designer needs slapped
Have more confidence when you speak.
Yeah one of the first videos ever made for RUclips. 👍
Get an Armalite. You get what you pay for.
