Cool story: my spouse and kids and I watched Biden and Kamala accept being President elected that Saturday night, and my 6 year old daughter actually asked as Kamala was talking “wait mommy, a girl can be a President?? Like a lady??” And I was astonished that she had that impression already. I told her yes of course and see Kamala is going to be the next Vice President. I had tears of relief throughout that whole thing.

As an ex addict, I was fortunate to have supportive friends and family, I met others with none of that and unfortunately they have a hard time coping outside of their drug use. Judging from seeing a few of her clips off Jake I would assume she doesn't have much of an education or exposure to other cultures so there is little experience with other kinds of peoples. Even worse is any support she might have received is from people who told her how to think. She probably comes from low income and probably had a pretty rough life. I hope maybe she at some point self reflects, but more-than-likely she eon't find a community to help her do so. So she is now stuck in an unfortunate cycle. Also, as a Canadian, our healthcare doesn't work how you describe. A visit to the ER is free with a government-issued health card, which costs like $50 every few years to renew, but if you don't have one or it's expired it costs $25-$50(depending on the province) for the visit. You still have to pay for most major operations, although it's exceedingly rare for a medical procedure to cost more than $1000. Prescriptions also aren't covered under universal healthcare. The cheapest generic prescription drugs still cost at least $25, and some things can cost in the hundreds of dollars per month. Now, I will say the "long Canadian wait times" thing is largely bullshit propaganda. With the exception of highly specialised treatments, which are done based on need instead of how much money you have, it's very rare to wait more than a week or two to see any medical professional, and if you're experiencing pain they can generally get see you within a day or two. In conclusion, our healthcare system may be WAY better than the USA's, but we're not some healthcare paradise, either.
Where do u pay for ur operations cuz I live in Alberta and the only things we pay for are dental, vision, and prescriptions which are often covered through insurance too. Everything else is basically free from my knowledge.

I can explain. Look at goals. A company that has no employees has no payroll. But you need customers, so you need other businesses that aren't automated. Therefore, you need to be the first and only to automate as fast as possible. Naturally, every company thinks this way so they all seek to automate (specifically with an eye towards cost cutting) as much as possible in seeking competitive advantage over the others. This accelerates overall rate of increase in automation.

I don't go for that with people like that. Maybe because I actually, face-to-face work with people like that and despite I help them get housing, medicaid and all that, they judge others harshly. Also, as a Canadian, our healthcare doesn't work how you describe. A visit to the ER is free with a government-issued health card, which costs like $50 every few years to renew, but if you don't have one or it's expired it costs $25-$50(depending on the province) for the visit.
You still have to pay for most major operations, although it's exceedingly rare for a medical procedure to cost more than $1000.
Prescriptions also aren't covered under universal healthcare. The cheapest generic prescription drugs still cost at least $25, and some things can cost in the hundreds of dollars per month.
Now, I will say the "long Canadian wait times" thing is largely bullshit propaganda. With the exception of highly specialised treatments, which are done based on need instead of how much money you have, it's very rare to wait more than a week or two to see any medical professional, and if you're experiencing pain they can generally get see you within a day or two.
In conclusion, our healthcare system may be WAY better than the USA's, but we're not some healthcare paradise, either.
Where do u pay for ur operations cuz I live in Alberta and the only things we pay for are dental, vision, and prescriptions which are often covered through insurance too. Everything else is basically free from my knowledge.

I imagine he has no issue with automation. It’s a part of natural growth in industries. The federal focus needs to be on redistribution of labor. Which would include re-education and financial guarantees like in the green new deal.
I think he meant more the fact that people will lose jobs due to automation as being the fault of capitalism.

Look at goals.
A company that has no employees has no payroll.
But you need customers, so you need other businesses that aren't automated.
Therefore, you need to be the first and only to automate as fast as possible.
Naturally, every company thinks this way so they all seek to automate (specifically with an eye towards cost cutting) as much as possible in seeking competitive advantage over the others.
This accelerates overall rate of increase in automation.
