Hey, its been a while! Had this idea last year around April and here we are! Hope you like it.
The reason why I was inactive it's because I was grinding 24/7 trying to get this out before I start any new project. Special thanks to Shauntaro, for helping me pitching the music.

The little details in this make me go wild. Examples: Polpo is missing two fingers, the coin at the beginning is from the stand stats, Narancia does one pose from the torture dance at the beginning, small Formaggio, Trish’s sparkling water, Abbachio using 4 cards and Mista’s reaction, Man in the Mirror appearing in the train scene, Carne/B.I.G. drowning in water, and Rolling Stones Bucciarti

The detail in the La Squarda part is absolutely God-tier. “Man in the Mirror” behind Illuso, Fromaggio in the wine glass, Ghiaccio throwing darts at the picture of the lion statue for the second it was on screen. And after, seeing Leaky Eye Luca on screen for like half a second before immediately cutting to Tiziano and Squalo is such a great little detail.
Even has melon licking his lips like he does in the actual thing

Also in the beggining of the animation, Narancia was wearing the same clothes as he wore in his backstory. Really the attention to the details is awesome!

I don’t think anyone pointed this out yet but at 1:22 , the cards’ back design is the same design as the Tarot Cards’ back from Stardust Crusaders. The detail in EVERYTHING here is amazing.

@@damianosollazzo5747 I think the JoJo characters actually help spice it up since it has the more interesting character designs. I know why that is, because Baccano is going for realistic believable characters, while JoJo leans heavily into its anime style and has very outlandish designs but it makes each character more memorable, even Carne who literally shows up one scene to die.

I feel like the higher-pitched music actually fits better than the original song. Something about Vento Aureo feels more upbeat than the other parts, except for part 4.
This is a literal work of art! There are so many series-specific details included, like Abbacchio’s cards and Trish’s mineral water, not to mention it’s smooth as hell. Fantastic job!

Like holy shit, I have finally seen a fan reanimation of an OP that isn't 100% wholesale tracing. I love all the little details and easter eggs in here like Formaggio, Sorbet and Gelato, etc. I see so much love, heart, care amd effort put into this that I haven't seen anywhere else in terms of fan reanimations of anime OPs

Let's analyze this.
-Fugo flipping a coin represents a decision he has to make, whether to follow the squad or not.
-Narancia is partnered with Fugo, representing their closeness to each other. Fugo dragging Narancia through the action can be seen as him guiding Narancia on what he should do.
-They are seen stealing something from Polpo, which later revealed to be a treasure.
-Giorno is the newest member (much like Filo in Baccano) and Buccelati is the mentor figure (much like Maize). Giorno putting a flower represents his stand power.
-Abbachio has the control of the game, while Mista is kinda goofing and Trish is observing.
-Diavolo is the menacing villain, much like Szilard in Baccano.
-Doppio can only be seen through a reflection in the bottle, which represents him being a mirror of Diavolo.
-The three gangsters were actually IN the train
-Giacchio was rash and has explosive nature, much like Ladd Russo
-Risotto holding metal knife and about to kill someone is only appropriate.
-The power couple running away from danger aka Narancia
There are more subtle things but my goodness this is such a perfect mixture and attention to details
Absolutely well done! I forgot to mention the counterparts of the characters between these two shows in my behind the scenes video but you nailed it!! Thank you for taking the time analyzing it, they are on point.
Not an Easter egg just I noticed that when narancia puts on his costume he does one of the torture dance moves

Fugo flips a GioGio coin
Some of Polpo's fingers are missing, a reference to him biting them off
Giorno's flower is actually his brooch, the petals even flip back into the brooch afterwards
Coco Jumbo is on the table
Abbachio has all 4s before Mista flips out
Each La Squadra member is actually visible, Proscuitto gives Pesci the drinks, Illuso is in the background, and Formaggio is hiding in the drinks
Ghiaccio is darting up the picture in Venezia
Luca is shown running with Squalo and Tiziano
Sorbet and Gellato are behind Secco
Rolling Stones transforms into Bruno
Also, the cards Secco and Chioccolata were playing are the Tarot ones

Omg how do you put in more character in squalo than the actual show
I mean he just put in the movements and expressions from the original but yeah
This feels like a version of Passione with a bit lighter tone. No battles to the death, and makes the villains seem way friendlier (especially the hitman team) like they were working together instead of what happened in the show. Except Chocolate, whose evil seems pretty baked in still lol.
Anyway this is a really well done animation and love all the details. Fugo's purple haze costume is great and Mista reacting to the unlucky cards, great stuff.

ok so this list. is long! because i really really like this! i watched it pausing literally as often as i could because i wanted to see every aspect of it! and holy shit, am i glad i did! because there's so much in this that makes me so, *so* joyful and AHH! i just. had to list everything i noticed that really made me especially happy and made me grin and AHHH thank you so much for putting the effort in to this, i can't even begin to imagine how hard and time consuming it must have been, and it's so beautiful and oh gosh just.. i'm in awe! thank you for deciding to make this, it's really unique and special and i'm so thankful to be able to see what your work's gone into

Ah, I'd started writing out easter eggs and then I saw your post had covered a lot I spotted and ones I didn't catch in a far better list.
So I'll just add in some additional ones and these are pretty small.
-The Stand Stat coin happens to be the lira, the 500 one iirc.
-Polpo's treasure is among the money in the box.
-The money in the box,and on the card table is lira.
-Giorno's flower seems to be the one he changed the lighter into during Polpo's lighter test.

I highly recommend you watch Baccano. It has amazing plot, the style, the characters, the animation, the action, just top notch.
Yeah you should really watch Baccano it's pretty confusing at the beginning but the plot twists are very satisfying to see.

Soooo I've watched this at least 10 times in a row now. I'm mesmerized by how perfect this is, as a big fan of both series.
Besides having to draw over the original animation (duh) you also added some new animation and changed some things in order to make it fit Vento Aureo's story. There are a bunch of moments that have no equivalent animation in the original opening.
Such as:
-The card at the end being Scolippi holding the stone, and it morphing into Bruno
-Carne throwing up Notorious BIG
-Illuso in that one shot, because there was no equivalent character there in the original
-Giorno's flower petals, because in the og it was a hat
-Abbacchio sipping tea, instead of holding a cigar
-TINY FORMAGGIO
(that's all I can see off the top of my head)
aaaaa I just want to scream about this! Of course drawing over everything was already time consuming and hard, but additions like these really show how much care you put into this. I love it so much.

The best thing about this is all the detail, so much stuff that you wont notice in your first viewing, you can tell that alot of love was put into this.
