the part about this seen that gets me the most is that right after her confident sarcasm, when everyone is intensely staring without a word, she laughs nervously-like she always does-and looks around, almost scared that everyone is mad at her all over again. then when the woman comes up close to her with gentle eyes and a small smile, jinx turns her fear into a look of scorn. not because she feels that way, but because she’s trying to intimidate them because she doesn’t know or understand what’s happening. the closer the woman’s hand gets to her skin, the more jinx’s nose scrunches. she hasn’t genuinely had a hug or a gentle touch or any act of kindness without an ulterior motive towards her in a long time. vi’s hug doesn’t count, because in jinx’s mind, vi betrayed her and her trust. she thinks this has an ulterior motive too, and doesn’t trust the woman even though she’s her follower…until her hand finally graces her skin, and jinx becomes powder again. gasping, practically sighing of relief, her eyes quiver, full of emotion as she watches the woman smile and every last follower walk past her with a similar gesture. she doesn’t understand it. she doesn’t understand why. but she now realizes that there was no ulterior motive. just pure gratitude and encouragement. something she NEVER had a LICK of as a kid. i fuckin loveeee arcane’s use of non verbal communication, it’s just…so good. twists my heart in the best ways.
For me I see this as Jinx is used to people treating her as a nuisance, and like she doesn't have a place amongst them, so she takes it in stride and is sarcastic and flippant. She tries to do that here but quickly realizes these people do see her as something special and meaningful. This is very different for her so at first shes wary, but then it really means something to her as well. I think she sees the reality of the situation, and of all of their lives.
Little detail (cause i missed it the first time) when they pass jinx and touch her shoulder, you can hear faint voices saying "thank you" or "thanks jinx" You can't hear it here though cause the music but yeah and a girl in the back is wearing Jinx's league outfit
I wish there was a parallel scene in s2 to this one. When enforcers thore things that were seen by Jinx followers as symbols. Such as X on her chest or her braids or boots etc. When she's in prison she doesnt have it not bc they didnt want her to kill herself but to erease her symbols to show her and her followers how vulnerable and how meaningless she is. Imagine how amazingly it would look like a parallel

Jynx is one of my favorite characters, she is funny, strong and a little crazy and yet even though she is fragile inside, she is so full of joy in everything she sees. I think it's a shame that you were only allowed to see her for so short a time.
Na I think jinx dreams to be inventor but no one released her talent for it. When she was younger she felt like a mistake as she cusses a problem.When she was a child vI abandoned her. She tries to find someone that could love her.She became a villain as she learned that from the guy claimed to love who she was. She was always lonely no one understands that. This scene shows that appreciation and support as stood there in shock
