Vi died in that universe because in the original universe, powder only dropped 1 ball but in this universe; powder dropped 3, causing Vi to die because the explosion was 2 or 3 times stronger

For me I see this as Jinx is used to people treating her as a nuisance, and like she doesn't have a place amongst them, so she takes it in stride and is sarcastic and flippant. She tries to do that here but quickly realizes these people do see her as something special and meaningful. This is very different for her so at first shes wary, but then it really means something to her as well. I think she sees the reality of the situation, and of all of their lives.

I wish there was a parallel scene in s2 to this one. When enforcers thore things that were seen by Jinx followers as symbols. Such as X on her chest or her braids or boots etc. When she's in prison she doesnt have it not bc they didnt want her to kill herself but to erease her symbols to show her and her followers how vulnerable and how meaningless she is. Imagine how amazingly it would look like a parallel

Vi didn't leave powder.. she was abducted after walking away to clear her head after she had struck powder. She probably remembered in the moment what vander told her. She never let powder out of her signt. So he is lying to some degree and to some degree he's manipulating jinx. Because he wants JINX not powder. If you think about it he wanted powder to die so jinx could be his ideal daughter. He wanted her to leave Vi behind. Unfortunately powder was unable to see that and even in season two vi stil cared about her and even respected Jinx enough to call her that.. because their fight honestly was like a siblings tantrum. Jinx could've actually hurt vi if she actually wanted to and Vi could've just let Cait shoot her and isha but for some reason she still protected her. I'd say thay means she cares ❤ and honestly i dont think he was afraid of jinx here i think he was afraid being stabbed with the needle as mentioned in season two he was 'a baby and couldn't do it himself'
