Would love it a bit more if they changed the drop to 6mm instead of 4mm, the endless forefoot cushion is nice but the shoe tends to work my calves pretty hard.
Oh!!! Isabella featuring super shoes now!!! How exciting!! ❤ I have a pair sitting here, and frankly I can’t get excited about it. I feel like it’s a great shoe for long runs with some MP in the middle. It’s even too slow responding for MP (for me). It’s super comfortable though. I was thinking to do the run leg of my Ironman in them (full marathon) when the legs are toast and I won’t go as fast.
@@vicius23 I am happy to let the wide feet family that at last we can run in a Hoka. I had the Mach 5 and Clifton in wide but still narrow. So I ordered the Cielo X1 from a more expensive site but free return.. They fit. 👏🏻
92 kg. 40 years. Male. I can run 5 ish mins / km. Eg around 53 mins for 10 k. Wide feet. Will this shoe work? My question in fact (and maybe a topic for a DoR podcast: what shoes could I use for races except the Speed 2 / 3 which plate I can activate at that pace?
I'm curious to hear how you;d compare this to the other friendly, accessible super shoe, the Saucony Endorphin Pro 4. How pronounced is the medial bias. I have some mild supination issues and worry about such features.
This is my first super shoe and had a bit of soreness in the ankles. Maybe just getting used to the mechanics of a suoer shoe. Had only 35 kms on it so I may need a little more time to get adapted.
Hi there, I bought a pair for my first Marathon aswell. Did a 26km run and was more sore than usual on the calf and tendon. Now I'm not sure if I should run in these for my marathon or stick to my daily runners. How did it feel after more runs? Thank you
@@gabcrema by now I have over 140 kilometers logged on this shoe. My ankles has gotten quite used to wearing a super shoe. Guess thats how much stress the carbon plate puts on the soleus and achilles. I just had to strengthen those muscle groups to keep up with the demands the shoe. I did notice that it does not offer that much stability as I overpronate when in the middle of the long run or a half marathon. So far i guess im better off with this shoe as it is not as aggressive compared to the vapor and alphaflys.
@rameses2460 thanks for that. I've had a tear in my soleus so I'm been cautious. Might do another long run before I decide if I run in them or my daily trainers! Thanks again
@@gabcrema no worries. I try not push myself too much to the point of injury. I would recover longer given my tender age of 54 lol. If i get hurt, then i loss precious time getting back again in shape and conditioning. Used this so far in a couple of half marathons and shorter distances. They say the sc elite v4s can double for trainers, but i guess only if you’re body can handle it. For daily training, i would definitely go for non plated shoes. Less demand on the feet and less expensive. Waiting on the rebel to drop in price. Also intrigued at the adidas boston 12, it has rods instead of plates made up of plastic or fiberglass. This could be a good daily trainer i suppose.
Anyone else suffering from heel slip and Achilles blisters despite runners knot? What did you do to fix? I’m a massive NB fan but this is the first shoe that I can’t figure out from a lockdown perspective.
Loved these shoes at first, thought was perfect, but then gave me huge blisters on my arches just behind my metatarsals. The sides of the midsoles pushed up the edges of insoles which dug into my feet. 🤦♂️
Does it come with the baby?
Batteries, sorry baby is not included!
I like how Matt gets so into it that he forgets there's a human dangling in front.
😭😭😭so cute look at the baby (which looks like mini him) become so focused hearing him
She's just going to be in every review now since she boosts the engagement
Love your kid. So cute! Keep her in the reviews so we can watch her grow, too.
New Balance are on point with the new designs and colorways 😍😍😍
I think she approves the NB SC Elite V4

Thanks for the stability comment. Think I might try the Metaspeed Edge Paris.
Nice that it allows a bit of overpronation: really what neutral shoes should be about
Nice that it allows a,bit od overpronation, its a neutral shoe. Relaxed fit sounds good. The elite v3 was really tight: ankle/instep, lateral toe box.
This shoe is amazing for my wide flat feet
New one Elite V4 like Rebel V4 and Cielo X1 are amazing for wide feet. Cielo X1 Not a racer but good for long runs.
You just posted in RSG ;) haha

It's a pure nature running shoe, very little bias either way.
Me,,too. Sounds like it has some mild overpronation . It's a neutral shoe! Finally!

Your adorable child is stealing the show. I have to watch the video again to concentrate on what you're saying!
Which is more stable NB Elite 4 vs. Endorphin Pro 4?
Hey Matt, maybe it is time to do a most stable super shoes for us overpronators? Think you did one 2 years ago which was great!

Most recent one from around five months ago!
Ah amazing thanks!@@DoctorsofRunning
Would have never guessed the endorphin elite was up there!

Friction bar/cream or try a piece of kinesiology tape
The heck with the shoe…. What about the SWEET LITTLE PRECIOUS BABY‼️❤️❤️
More or less stable then v3?
Say what? Sorry i got very distracted. Baby is just too adorable. Miss my kids when they were younger.
It happens 😅

NB really pushed the tightness element with the SC elite m. The RC elite was a little more accommodating fit.
copy pasted the dad's eyes to the baby
Cute baby
Came for the baby
