I love the fact that RAO's has a "sensitive" variety for those of us on the LO-FODMAP diet for IBS. That is AMAZING!
I have stomach issues, their sensitive marinara allows me to eat red sauce. I am forever thankful.
They have a caramelized onion sauce now it’s so good!
Rao's sauce is the best sauce hands down
Yes Rao’s FOREVER
Not even close.
Facts. 3x the cost of other sauce but it's 10x better.
Opinions vary
I take one jar of arrabiatta sauce and one jar of vodka sauce, add half a jar of white wine (use it to rinse out the remaining sauce), plus 10-12 oz of sliced mushrooms. Add a Parm rind if you’ve got one in the freezer. Simmer, covered, for 45-60 minutes. Toss with cooked linguine, serve with extra Parm on the side.
I too mix arrabbiata with another sauce to cool it down a bit. I always throw some veggies and wine too. If it is still too much, I add a pinch of sugar. I am not a fan of their vodka sauce because I do like the cream in vodka sauce.
You had me all the way until you said white wine. Must be red wine when rinsing out the bottle...haha. IMO.
Rao's sauce costs more but it is absolutely worth it !😊
Tomato Basil is my usual go to for jarred sauces but Rao's 4 cheese won me over.
Rao's recently won me over. In fact, I gave my Prego stash away to a Food Bank and am forever spoiled. I tend to buy the sauces minus the meat and vegetables because it just sounds better to me to add all that stuff fresh at the time of opening the jar. Personally, I was bowled over by the Vodka version but you've definitely peaked my interest with your top picks.
i wasnt thrilled about Rao's and it was expensive as heck at $20 a bottle. i always add a ton of veggies to my sauce and like the small amount of sweetness in prego sausage and garlic sauce. adds a whole new level to my meal. since pasta sauce companies have cheapened out and cut corners, a bottle isnt enough for a pound box of pasta these days, so i add a lot of veggies to make it work.
@@BobRooney290it’s never been $20 a bottle. You’ve been scammed.
@@BobRooney290 What country do you live in for that price.
Rao's looks delicious. But at twice the cost of mainstream brands (and 3x the cost of bargain brands), it's not for the budget-conscious, like me. 😥
Same, I’d rather buy a cheaper sauce and spruce it up
Just try it and then it'll become a once in awhile thing, then after awhile you'll end up always getting it. It's just better than the others, if you get a chance look for the Calabrian chili version, it's crazy good.
Arrabiatta is the best ❤
I agree.
Some of us can't have onions or garlic therefore the sensitive sauce, it is! It's delish! 😊
They used to have an eggplant marinara sauce which was my favorite. Wish they would bring that back.
LOVE RAO sauces!!!!
The grocery store I work at, our customers go crazy over just the Marinara, then theTomato & Basil, then maybe Roasted Garlic. I think Vodka Sauce was a seller at some point. Four Cheese in my area sells the least among the other flavors. I guess each area, and each year can be different from the other.
They're all BOMB!
Not having onions and garlic in spaghetti sauce is like seeing Kareem- Abdul-Jabber playing basketball without his goggles. Their sauce is really good but very expensive.
Love the sausage and mushroom...but are the best sauces out there! I can eat it right of the jar.
My very FAVORITE!!!!
Rao’s #1🎉
Rao s sauce it haves the best texture flavor to help what ever dish your preparing for.
When making a pasta dish, I have eaten Tomato & Basil right out of the jar! Yes, it's that good.
Same here! It tastes like a real tomato soup!!!
I also love the Bolognese!!!
I’ve been blazing through all the varieties of sauces. Personally, I think the 4 cheese sauce is towards the bottom while the classic marinara reigns king.
My daughter likes this Brand have not tried it but will.🌍👍🌍💯🌍😘🌍😋🌍👏🌍💃🌍🍂🌍🌟🌍
My go to all the time.
Arrabiatta is my favorite Raos sauce.😂
Any other sauce pales in comparison to the ones I’ve tried from Rao’s.
4 cheese is second to none !!
They are the best sauce in the grocery store. It’s about $10/bottle for the smaller for the two. But it’s worth it.
Now their alfredo sauce is trash.
Paula Deen had them on her show years ago and they said secret ingredient is "fatback", I think in their Marinara.
That's for the marinara sauce in the restaurant. The store marinara doesn't have pork. It would have to be listed in the ingredients.
Why did you show a large block of cheese in front of the marinara jar?
I'll stick with clasico, it's a nice middle price 😂 😊
Raos Vodka sauce is the absolutely the best to me. Every morning on my muffin w a slice on toasted cheese 🏖️
not rayoh’s 😂
Just finished jar of four cheese
Watched video to see if it would be too dog
Yup. It was. For me too.
All they're sauces are perfect
rao’s has a bizarre ad in the New York Times where they advertise their sauce and say “all sales are final” WTF!!!🤣🤣🤣
They sell at Costco and Costco will refund the price of any opened jar that the customer did not like.
bolognese is the best!
Shamefully, I buy Classico because it is in a mason jar that I can reuse.
It’s so good but soooo expensive!
I don't know where you live but where I live you can get Rao's for under $5 and if you live where they have Aldi's even cheaper
@@valentinaminauro3528.24 at Walmart in PHX. For an 24oz.
They have 16,24,32 oz jars.
You might be looking at the 16oz huh?
I'm allergic to onions and garlic It's called allium allergy
?? No clam gravy ??
It is arr-a-bbee-ata, not aRRaBB-ita
“Sensitive recipe” tomato sauces are for people who have digestive disorders or need to follow a low-FODMAP diet. You don’t need to be so judgmental about these products and the people who buy them.
I just tried their Bolognese. I’ll stick with Prego
What about their soups?!!!!
Nope!
Vodka
I'm pretty sure that they are lying to the consumer and that is just down right evil and shady business practice I thought you be against promoting. The sauce is clearly not HOMEMADE as it is made in a factory so should be FACTORY MADE. Please note it doesn't say HOMEMADE style which would allow you to know that it is done like HOMEMADE just not in a home.
Learn to make your own. Thank me later.
All Rao's are bad. It's so easy to make homemade sauce and tastes a whole lot better. *Diced tomato, tomato sauce, tomato paste, onion, green pepper and fresh garlic.* The longer it simmers the better it gets, and any extra can be frozen. 😋
This video was bull crap within 2 minutes in. Do they not know that carrots and celery and onions make a great pasata?!!
I road the Rao train for a while when it first came out. But honestly, after a while, I realized it really isn't all that special. Way over priced.
I do like their mushroom and pepper blend and will occasionally pick up a jar, but the rest is rather, meh.
As an Italian who makes my own gravy, I always keep a jar of Cento or Mutti on hand and add some extra ingredients. Best jarred by far. Let the medigans eat this other garbage
Oregano doesn’t belong in pasta sauce, only in pizza sauce.
Rao's is pronounced like "Rouse", not "Ray-ohs". Its a family name, Not being a grammar nazi, I would want my name pronounced correctly,
