Africa Twin Lost In The Scrub Lake Tinaroo Danbulla Goldsborough Gillies Range

Break in the rain so jumped on the Africa Twin and went to Lake Tinarro via the Gillies Range then along Danbulla road. For little overnighter. Then back down the Gillies and out to Goldsborough for a swim. What a fun go anywhere bike.

you need strong twine on the trip , to get out of bogs ,tie it off on spokes use back hub as winch walk it out

Thanks for the tip, it is an adventure bike but its no light 400, so still have to be careful where I take it. Will carry a tow strap.

some nice spots thanks for sharing Rotorpix. Curious to know what precautions you take to stop your gear walking when you go wandering and leave your bike?

Great question Paul. I will be using cables to lock the soft bags to the bike, it will make them hard to open as well. Anything valuable will be in a backpack. Will lock the Helmet to the bike too.

Yes unfortunately. When I get the cables I will make a video about them. Hard luggage would be an easy fix but they would break going to the places I want to go around Australia as it will mostly be off road.
