Great to hear, the bike is a gem off road with dirt tyres on. Congrats on getting one, you are going to really enjoy it. Its nice to be able to share what I do with others. Thanks for watching.
Sounds like a great idea to me. Endless empty roads to ride over here. Thanks for watching, there will be lots more videos coming, just fine tuning things at the moment..
good vid i used to work the porphyry quarries at the intersection of herberton shortcut back rd and irvinebank petford rds 2007 - 2014 those little creeks in the wet meant sleeping out there for days.... did ya see any snakes?..... thanks for uploading
I’d really love to bring my Africa twin there, not sure what it would take to get it there from the USA . Or cost, but would love to go on a trip with ya . And visit my family while there
Cheers, yeh the bike did the Creb pretty easy, just take your time. Would never try it after a rain though. I have been toying with a new exhaust, one day I will get one.
Cheers, yes it pays to buy a good mic. its going straight into the Sony FDR X3000. Its build in mechanical steady shot and 100mbps plus simple audio in leaves the GOPRO 5 for dead.
If it falls over it certainly is.:-) It's an epic bike perfect for the Australian Outback. Ride it like a trail bike and you will be surprised where it will go.
Yeh we have Crocs, Snakes, Spiders, Dingoes and then in the ocean Box Jellyfish, Stone Fish, Blue Ring Octopus and Sea snakes that can do serious damage to you. Only thing that really scares me are the car drivers on the roads.
Александр Галицких I can't believe you asked that question! This is Australia, its got more deadly snakes than any other country in the world; Virtually every critter there is either out to kill ya or just waiting for you to drop dead.
31 degrees here today..brrr..:-) Europe is still good....but yes its the perfect bike for Australia, least I can share my adventures with you on YT. Thanks for watching.
Solid Tractionator tyres with heavy tubes, carry spare stock tubes plus puncture kit. Bend a rim out there and a tube will keep going. Can go low pressures for sand. Hard to plug a spit in a tubeless tyre. Lots of sharp rocks out there I'm going over.
From what I know modern o-ring chains are internally lubricated. you need only to clean them. that should save you some money instead of the overpriced moto shop chain lube.
Cheers, will check them out on the map. Just need to invest in a two way GPS or Sat Phone before I venture into too many isolated roads. Telstra Australia Wide mobile coverage does not cover most of Australia :-)
we people in other parts of the world imagine australia full of crocs..haha maybe we are wrong...Im in texas greetings.... nice videos it help us see other parts of the world
...really a very nice ride along - I like the longer more in depth motovlogs - it's really very inspiring - thanks so much!
Thanks for the feedback. I will put more effort into the edits if I know people will watch them. 27 mins that one, did you watch the lot?
Absolutely wonderful video and beautiful countryside! Really enjoyed watching. Getting my Africa Twin in the spring! Hello from Nebraska USA.

Nice! Looks fun, I'm tempted by an Oz road trip. I'm in the Uk, so it's gonna take some planning. Keep the vids coming! Cheers

Cheers man, well in Australia, you cannot go camping and not have a Beer or two. :-)

No snakes but yeh some good spots out there thats for sure. Get back out there for more exploring for sure.
Awesome wild landscape, I am almost expecting to see a velociraptor springing from under some rock.
It is indeed out there. Make sure you pay it a visit if you ever get to FNQ.
I’d really love to bring my Africa twin there, not sure what it would take to get it there from the USA . Or cost, but would love to go on a trip with ya . And visit my family while there
Sounds like you need to start making a plan. Life is short. Far North Queensland has so many nice tracks.

Cheers, yeh the bike did the Creb pretty easy, just take your time. Would never try it after a rain though. I have been toying with a new exhaust, one day I will get one.
Congrats Rotopix on another entertaining and informative video. The new microphone sounds good, what are you using to record your audio and video?
Cheers, yes it pays to buy a good mic. its going straight into the Sony FDR X3000. Its build in mechanical steady shot and 100mbps plus simple audio in leaves the GOPRO 5 for dead.
Tip as a sound engineer Basic Fix: roll off the top end on your eq to get rid of wind noise
Cheer, thanks for that, will have a tinker. But really just want to get a clean feed. Got a windjammer on it too.
bike is too heavy for solo off-road riding don't you think? nice trip BTW.
If it falls over it certainly is.:-) It's an epic bike perfect for the Australian Outback. Ride it like a trail bike and you will be surprised where it will go.
Only 500 pounds , so not to bad
Cool! Do you have wild animals that can be dangerous?
Yeh we have Crocs, Snakes, Spiders, Dingoes and then in the ocean Box Jellyfish, Stone Fish, Blue Ring Octopus and Sea snakes that can do serious damage to you. Only thing that really scares me are the car drivers on the roads.

love the bike planing soon to get mine after i sell my zx10
Great to hear. Those roads bikes are nice but one is just so limited to the sealed roads. Honda must be selling lots of AT's me thinks.
Enjoyed the videos fella.. jealous that you get to ride round oz... I'll stick to boring Europe 👍
31 degrees here today..brrr..:-) Europe is still good....but yes its the perfect bike for Australia, least I can share my adventures with you on YT. Thanks for watching.
curious to know if you're running tubeless?

NIce Swim... but CROCS???!!!!
Salt water Crocs are certainly over here but out there you would only find fresh water ones, so all good. :-)
From what I know modern o-ring chains are internally lubricated. you need only to clean them. that should save you some money instead of the overpriced moto shop chain lube.
Do the tracks to the old Mayfield gold mining area.
Correction Maytown up the Palmer River
Cheers, will check them out on the map. Just need to invest in a two way GPS or Sat Phone before I venture into too many isolated roads. Telstra Australia Wide mobile coverage does not cover most of Australia :-)
Yes plan to get up that way for a look for sure.

Yes you have to be careful where you swim, even way out there.
