I've had this bag for about two weeks now (coming from a Torval Pitstop bag). I haven't run into any issues so far. My only complaints are that I wish it had a waist strap (bag can get quite heavy when fully loaded); and traditional clasp buckles. However, the magnetic buckles havent caused me any issues so far. The strap on the backside is so you can slide it onto a roller suitcase while traveling. I've fit up to 6 quads on it (One 3.5" on top, one 5" on either side and three on the front: 7" and two 5"). It was between this and iFlight bag. So far, no regrets, highly reccomend. Great review Joshua!

The cross straps are for going over the handle of luggage. So you can set the bag on top of your rolling luggage and put the strap over the handle. Pretty much all camera bags have them and that's what they are for. It's very useful while traveling so you don't have to carry the bag on your back while walking around or waiting in the airport.

Oh god, Joshua... XD The synching buckles on the bottom will only tighten when pressure is applied to the back side of them... They really send this bag to the wrong RUclipsr.

theres two kinds of quad bag, one for walking 300 yards into a bando, then there are bags for hiking to incredible spots, the only true hiking bag is pretty much any 30l tactical backpack.only caveat i would add is, i put padding from an old karrimor pack inside my tacticals, huge difference. i hike a bit and people wouldnt believe the amount of gear i get in and on my bag. i get two quads a waterproof jacket, a down jacket, a chair, walking poles, water bottle, on the outside,...... i also carry a slightly large waterproof jacket purely for the backpack, i can unclip the straps and put them through the sleeves of the waterproof and have an almost fully protected bag, straps an all.

I’ve got a few miles on my legs humping packs and I’d 100% agree. I use the same kind of pack, my goggles go inside a carhartt beanie, rc does the same, quads go on the outside, and I keep a handheld tri band ham radio, an msr guardian water purifier, food, and extra clothing and whatever else I need for that particular day or days in the pack. The straps and buckles on this pack in the vid look weak at best. Hell, sometimes I just hang one quad off another with carabiners on the back. I’m not worried about breaking something that I literally crash every day 😂

@@SkeezyFPV yeah the versatility is hard to beat, the ideal quad bag would start with a tactical bag, and maybe add a waterproof compartment and a heat proof compartment for the batteries. its a bit odd that a hobby of tinkerers comes up with bags costing hundreds of dollars to carry quads 100 yards.....ok you had to climb through a hole in a fence but come on 200 smackers...i buy the cheapest of the cheap and if its a bit rubbish, i sew it stronger, add double zips, insulate a battery compartment. all under 30bucks

I have a 20 quid military style backpack that has the webbing on the outside to hang things on 3 sides.I use battery straps through the webbing and can easily hang several quads like this.
A radiomaster tx16 case,DJI goggles case and a case a fishing reel came in for my batteries which fit nicely in the main compartment .
This leaves 3 other zip pockets for loads of quad spares and lunch.
So 60 quid will get you the back pack and separate cases for your expensive kit.
You can even even use it to sit on at the field if its damp
Save yourself alot of cash and have a better set up and just miss out on the label.

I’m a user of a Lowepro QuadGuard BP X3 for quite long time. The back opening type of a backpack. There was a huge discussion about convenience of this solution when i made my choice. It was quite natural for me that this backpack was not meant to be placed on ground neither on the front or the back. The best way for me is to put it vertically on the ground - like you wear it on the back. Then you can fully unzip the main compartment and unfold it on the ground. You have than full access to your gear in every possible compartment as well as to the front mounted quads. As simple as that 😊 Never looked for other backpacks since I bought it.

I thought at first the divider side Velcro was at fault but then I tried a bunch of different Velcro types and none of them stick worth crap. I took the iFlight dividers and tried them in my Torvol Mini Explorer V2 and they stick perfectly so it’s definitely the felt or whatever it is that iFlight has used in the bag. How are you dealing with this? I’m about to sew the dividers down, that or the bag is going in the bin even though the bag is otherwise well built and holds a ton of stuff.

Plus: Folding chair can go on the bottom and pouch for water bottles on the side. The side pockets are nice for taking broken props home if you cannot dispose of them at your spot. Neutral: Notebook case. With the Speedybee app there is no need to carry around a notebook anymore. Minus: Not very good protection for the radio and you need an extra box for carrying tools like a prop tool and a 3mm hex driver. I would like to see a padded plastic container for tools inside the backpack. Also way too thick for overhead compartments on a plane. I don't see a huge advantage over my 50$ backpack.

Just watched the video on your broken pyrodrone back pack. Now that you have a broken bag, it would be a great time to do a lipo fire test to show what would happen if you had say 5 lipos in a fire proof bag inside the back pack and they caught on fire. easy way to insure a lipo will catch on fire is to take a fully charged lipo and a lipo that is run down and plug them together. as the power transfers from the full lipo to the down lipo it will do so so fast that they will heat up and catch on fire after a few mins. plenty of time to stuff them inside the bag and zip it up. Now that would be a test a lot of viewers would love to watch. Do it for science! You said yourself you are not sure how safe it would be to put your lipos in a fire bag inside the back pack.

Buy cheap 80€ softbag for Motorcycle, strap to backseat of motorcycle, throw copter, batteries, radio and small toolbox in, strap down, nothing moves, drive motorcycle right to where you fly, unstrap, have full access.
Done flying?, throw everything in, strap 2 straps, leave.
Packing takes 30seconds max no matter if @home or in the field.
Literally, the order doesn't matter, you can just throw things in there and once you pullt the (2) straps down, nothing moves.... Perfectly secure, super easy to use. Might explode when you crash your bike but... We're FPV Pilots, right?

Why do they make big bulky bags for us, would rather prefer a smaller bag, helps us to carry less stuff and less weight.

NOT! I've got a Pelican 1510 case. Much better protection. It has a handle for carrying and has wheels. Totally waterproof.

ZIPPERS DON'T LAST ON ALL FPV BAGS! Fix that problem and you have a FPV bag... 1 year is the longest ive had one last. I believe it was an Iflight. Great bag! crap zippers... 200 is normal I thought? Hell, I just got a new bag yast week. 30 bucks to ship to NJ! 30 bucks!

This pack looks like to be deisgned for the photo pilot that carries camera gear and an FPV quad or two.
If the straps held, I'd buy one.

Those straps are bad😬 You can lose your drone if you are hiking and wanting to fly in the woods. You won't lose it because you hit trees but because a bump loosened the strap smh.

    Hello Joshua.
I think the HGLRC brand is very bad, everything I have bought from that brand has failed in the short term or has arrived bad.
Motors (Rekon), FC, ESC, LEDs, GPS, etc.
It is a brand that I cannot recommend to anyone.
