    I think that the legislation threatening to kill JSX should be approved. As much as JSX is a nice airline, they exploit a loophole to sell "public charters" to bypass the increased regulatory scrutiny and security requirements of FAA Part 121 airline operations. As they are a full-service, scheduled air carrier, they should be subject to all the same regulations and restrictions as other airlines, like American and Southwest. Having easy access to the cockpit and no security on Part 135 operations in the name of "convenience" presents a direct safety hazard to the travelling public. 9/11/2001 showed us that.
    As nice as JSX is as an airline, they violate the spirit of the law with Part 121 and should be subject to the same requirements (inspections, TSA, pilot hours, etc) that Part 121 airlines are held to. Love them or hate them, AA and SWA have a point.

      Thank you for your feedback back. Well it’s up for legislation to decide not us. We throughly enjoyed our time on JSX.

      Don’t care if they violate a unjust laws the reason airlanes suck is increase government regulation. I’m gald we have semi private airplanes

      @@aadvantagegold5220 I trust private security over tsa which has a terrible rate of protection all types of weapons have gotton through their system

    • @aadvantagegold5220
      @aadvantagegold5220 9 месяцев назад

      @@jum90 TSA actually has a decent rate of protection.
      And it’s significantly better than having no security at all. “Private sector” = completely unsafe. They don’t even have cockpit doors/fly with them open, because Part 135 doesn’t require them to be secured.
      This is laughable. And with the increasingly risky threat situation, particularly against US targets, this is just screaming for a terror attack.
