The Peach sections are relatively boring compared to the Bowser and Mario sections of the game. It's less forgetting Sephiroth is in FF7 and more like forgetting a boss fight that was just there.

Once again, my favorite directs are the one people hate. I'm insanely hyped for a new Vanillaware game, they're one of the most underrated developer ever. I'm also super excited to give Another Code and TTYD a try since I never played them before.
People only think Directs are good when they get mainline games for big franchises. TTYD remake is genuinely insane and tells us Nintendo is listening.

I thought this was a solid Direct overall, especially if you're a Mario fan. Princess Peach Showtime and PM TTYD especially looked great, and for me, F-Zero 99, Another Code and the SpyxFamily game were my other highlights. Not a 10/10 for me, but a solid 7/10 (or a B grade)
I'm really excited to see Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I have only played the Super Paper Mario game that was on the Wii and I really liked it. I liked it so much that I remember looking around for The Thousand Year Door only to find out that I couldn't seem to find it anywhere (at least on systems that I played). I have heard a lot of good things about The Thousand-Year Door and I am so ready to check that out! I'm also kinda excited about Super Mario Rpg, but not as much honestly. I'm just not sure it's something I'd really like, but I'll probably give it a try or watch someone play it to see what it's like

Trace memory was an excellent story based game that I really enjoyed. All I remember is that it was very “what will happen next” and had a satisfying ending. So I’m very excited to try Another Code when it comes out.

The thing with Tomb Raider is that its levels are basically build using something like a minecraft editor (with added diagonals). You're playing inside a grid of building blocks, that's how they got the maps to be so large on a 1994 MS DOS pc. That also means they can't do a whole lot with any remaster without also changing the way the game plays and feels. So for anyone who wants to play the original Tomb Raider, this is as good as it gets.
Another code was really exciting to me! And not buying Paper Mario for the gamecube was one of my biggest regrets, until now! So if the f zero game was completely new it would have been pretty great

The AI computer was definitely in the original ‘The Thousand Year Door’. I can’t believe you have forgotten to be honest?! It looks as though there isn’t much extra in the game. However it is still an amazing game and I really want everyone to buy it and love it and tell the world because you never know, Nintendo may go back to making the Paper Mario games in the same vein again. Which would be the best possible thing to happen to the franchise.
I enjoyed it overall-there were some fun looking games to give a shot. There were plenty I’d like to play, but none I’m moving to the very top of my “to be played” pile. I knew there wasn’t likely going to be anything Zelda (amiibos don’t count in my book) and I’m always happier when there is, but I liked the direct overall. 🤷🏻♀️ I’m realizing I’m pretty happy when I don’t listen to all the direct predictions before a direct-can’t be disappointed with no expectations. 😂

The peach segment in the Mario Thousand Year Door trailer is NOT new. You just forgot it exists, is a whole Peach segment where she tries to escape the alien evil villain space-ship no idea how you forgot it, is literally the second biggest plot after the Mario ones on earth.
I used to play "Mario vs Donkey Kong" on gameboy color, it was just "Donkey Kong" known as "Donkey Kong 1994", still on my top 5 games of all time to date. Very excited for this game on switch
I actually rather liked it myself. Another Code looked cool, the Princess Peach game looked way better than I expected it to, and it was nice to see some more ports/remasters announced that I thought were a bit overdue (Luigi's Mansion 2 and TTYD). My favourite bit was the Tomb Raider trilogy announcement; I struggle with the keyboard controls on PC, so having a console version to take on the go with all the DLC and optional remastered visuals? Yes please. Also F-Zero 99 was not something I expected, but it looks absolutely hilarious. I do wish we'd seen something about Metroid Prime 4 or Professor Layton, especially if we're nearing the end of the Switch's life cycle, but other than that I thought it was a good direct.
I played the Another Code: Two Memories on the original 'Chunky' DS and loved it, would recommend it on that type of console, not sure how they will replicate some of the puzzles on the switch as you had to fold the DS slightly to get the screens to mirror for a solution. But certainly one that I would love to play again.
So believe it or not, I did put Tomb Raider on my personal bingo Card. Though I said "Tomb Raider Collection" on mine, and I was referring to the recent games, Tomb Raider, Rise of the TR, Shadow of the TR.
Na, people are just critical, and it's fun to call everything mid. There's so much people we're saying I'm gonna buy like every Mario game and they're excited for stuff. It’s still got lots of amazing Games on it bro. I would say yes, I got an OLED a few months back and it’s been worth every cent. Let me know what type of games you like I could recommend some if you do decide to pick one up! You won’t regret it. Even if a new switch came out next year which I doubt, I’m happy with this console and the Games already are so great that I wouldn’t care about getting the new one. Like how I still play an old GBA I found from years ago, they are investments that you can’t go wrong with really.

@@artbynaition1278 Well I just last night got DOOM ETERNAL and it’s awesome… amazing it can run on switch and so well that is my main recommendation if you like hardcore FPS Games. Basically all the Doom games are on the switch which is cool. Also Quake2 has just got a remaster and it has cross platform online play meaning they’ll pretty much always be deathmatchs to play. Read Dead 1 has just had a remaster if you like that kind of game. Metroid dread and Metroid Prime would definitely be worth your attention also. Sea Of Stars is a new RPG that just game out, The messenger also by same company. Chrono Cross remaster is excellent I recommend that if you like old RPG’s from the PlayStation Era like final fantasy.
@@artbynaition1278 Also some more Games I recommend: Streets Of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge (both have online co-op multi player and are modern retro Games) and Pokémon Legends Arceus is decent. Of course you can’t go wrong with the mainstream titles such as Mario Kart 8, Bowsers Fury, any of the Zelda Games, and Super Smash Bros. Crash 4 is nice too, feels like playing a PS2 but a future version. It’s worth Getting a pro controller aswell.
If ever the Switch felt tired, it was today. It want terrible, but nothing got me excited really. I still have a massive backlog though, so I can deal with that for a little while.

I genuinely was happy to watch this one! Bandle tale looked like a cozy art style that I’d enjoy, and eastward octopia looked fun as well! I have such great memories of Thousand year door, and that trombone game made me laugh so hard! Anyways a little too many of the same old action turn based ones again but some highlights snuck in there
No I think I remember the AI in love thing in TTYD because I remember how different and random this was for a Mario game I’d played up until that point so that isn’t DLC unfortunately.
If F-Zero 99 preforms well, maybe it’ll open doors for a new F-Zero game. I’m actually happy that there wasn’t anything big announced; my bank account needs a break.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong is no more a kids game than anything else Nintendo makes. The original on GBA and DK ‘94 on Gameboy are puzzle platformer classics. Highly recommended!

3:16 Love Spy x Family. Read some of the manga and watched the first episode. Hopefully Tatsuya Endo will learn to love his creation in the same way as the manga/anime community love it.
The AI computer was definitely in the original ‘The Thousand Year Door’. I can’t believe you have forgotten to be honest?! It looks as though there isn’t much extra in the game. However it is still an amazing game and I really want everyone to buy it and love it and tell the world because you never know, Nintendo may go back to making the Paper Mario games in the same vein again. Which would be the best possible thing to happen to the franchise.
I enjoyed it overall-there were some fun looking games to give a shot. There were plenty I’d like to play, but none I’m moving to the very top of my “to be played” pile. I knew there wasn’t likely going to be anything Zelda (amiibos don’t count in my book) and I’m always happier when there is, but I liked the direct overall. 🤷🏻♀️ I’m realizing I’m pretty happy when I don’t listen to all the direct predictions before a direct-can’t be disappointed with no expectations. 😂
The biggest thing for me was the Eastward DLC, loved the base game
The direct was cute. I don’t personally care about most of the games but it was cute in general. I’d say Nintendo doesn’t have more major, impactful games because they’re focusing on the next console

The peach segment in the Mario Thousand Year Door trailer is NOT new. You just forgot it exists, is a whole Peach segment where she tries to escape the alien evil villain space-ship no idea how you forgot it, is literally the second biggest plot after the Mario ones on earth.

I used to play "Mario vs Donkey Kong" on gameboy color, it was just "Donkey Kong" known as "Donkey Kong 1994", still on my top 5 games of all time to date. Very excited for this game on switch
I actually rather liked it myself. Another Code looked cool, the Princess Peach game looked way better than I expected it to, and it was nice to see some more ports/remasters announced that I thought were a bit overdue (Luigi's Mansion 2 and TTYD). My favourite bit was the Tomb Raider trilogy announcement; I struggle with the keyboard controls on PC, so having a console version to take on the go with all the DLC and optional remastered visuals? Yes please. Also F-Zero 99 was not something I expected, but it looks absolutely hilarious.
I do wish we'd seen something about Metroid Prime 4 or Professor Layton, especially if we're nearing the end of the Switch's life cycle, but other than that I thought it was a good direct.

I played the Another Code: Two Memories on the original 'Chunky' DS and loved it, would recommend it on that type of console, not sure how they will replicate some of the puzzles on the switch as you had to fold the DS slightly to get the screens to mirror for a solution. But certainly one that I would love to play again.

So believe it or not, I did put Tomb Raider on my personal bingo Card. Though I said "Tomb Raider Collection" on mine, and I was referring to the recent games, Tomb Raider, Rise of the TR, Shadow of the TR.

There's so much people we're saying I'm gonna buy like every Mario game and they're excited for stuff. But it's still mid, which makes very little sense to me.

I'll be getting Tomb Raider when that comes out..loved playing those on the original PlayStation. Dave the Diver looks kinda cool..
With these games,(Tomb Raider)the gameplay is so fun, the graphics don't even really matter to me.. can't wait!

As someone who doesn’t play Smash I feel like these Directs are better than the ones we used to get. I’m hyped for Princess Peach, Another Code, 1,000 Year Door, Tomb Raider 1 2 3, etc. I’m set for months

It’s still got lots of amazing Games on it bro. I would say yes, I got an OLED a few months back and it’s been worth every cent. Let me know what type of games you like I could recommend some if you do decide to pick one up! You won’t regret it. Even if a new switch came out next year which I doubt, I’m happy with this console and the Games already are so great that I wouldn’t care about getting the new one. Like how I still play an old GBA I found from years ago, they are investments that you can’t go wrong with really.

Most games I've seen so far are like coozy type, I like hardcore stuff or zombies type stuff action games yk.. definitely getting Naruto and dragon ball z, don't know which one yet tho... But looking forward to your recommendations
@@artbynaition1278 Well I just last night got DOOM ETERNAL and it’s awesome… amazing it can run on switch and so well that is my main recommendation if you like hardcore FPS Games. Basically all the Doom games are on the switch which is cool. Also Quake2 has just got a remaster and it has cross platform online play meaning they’ll pretty much always be deathmatchs to play. Read Dead 1 has just had a remaster if you like that kind of game. Metroid dread and Metroid Prime would definitely be worth your attention also. Sea Of Stars is a new RPG that just game out, The messenger also by same company. Chrono Cross remaster is excellent I recommend that if you like old RPG’s from the PlayStation Era like final fantasy.
@@artbynaition1278 Also some more Games I recommend: Streets Of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge (both have online co-op multi player and are modern retro Games) and Pokémon Legends Arceus is decent. Of course you can’t go wrong with the mainstream titles such as Mario Kart 8, Bowsers Fury, any of the Zelda Games, and Super Smash Bros. Crash 4 is nice too, feels like playing a PS2 but a future version. It’s worth Getting a pro controller aswell.
If ever the Switch felt tired, it was today. It want terrible, but nothing got me excited really.
I still have a massive backlog though, so I can deal with that for a little while.

I’m pretty satisfied… Tomb raider, mario rpg, luigi mansion 2, peach and paper mario thousand year door enough for me to consider this a satisfactory direct 😊… ngl i did expect them to show Persona 3 reload, even tho it’s not gonna be on switch any time soon, I’m still looking forward for what i’ve seen so far

I genuinely was happy to watch this one! Bandle tale looked like a cozy art style that I’d enjoy, and eastward octopia looked fun as well! I have such great memories of Thousand year door, and that trombone game made me laugh so hard! Anyways a little too many of the same old action turn based ones again but some highlights snuck in there
No I think I remember the AI in love thing in TTYD because I remember how different and random this was for a Mario game I’d played up until that point so that isn’t DLC unfortunately.
I'm a big Dave the diver fan so I'm happy to get a date for the game!

Mario vs. Donkey Kong is no more a kids game than anything else Nintendo makes. The original on GBA and DK ‘94 on Gameboy are puzzle platformer classics. Highly recommended!
Zelda Skyward Sword had one of the last Amiibo's. Totally want to play Paper Mario and RPG.
