You asked why the comeback. I believe it was because the taller player in the black shots finally started using her topspin forehand with more consistency. She used it a couple of times early on, but in the comeback she used it again and again and the other team just couldn't handle it.
Hi Rory if I’m down 10-0 or 10-1 and sides out I don’t even try to hit the serve back (when playing with sandbaggers) man this game has do something with them in tournaments.
Especially with with lobs but often other shots too. You say don’t do it or they shouldn’t have done that. But nearly often enough do you suggest what they should’ve done
Rory, At 11:47, you say "the player in the Ad court switched to the Serve court." There are newbies watching your channel who may not have ever played tennis. Tennis players know the left court is the Ad court (Advantage) and the right court is the Deuce court (the side you serve on if the score is 40/40 or Deuce). I hear pickleball players using the term Ad court for the left/odd court but never Deuce court for the right/even court. No idea why. I played tennis years ago and play pickleball now but I have no idea where the Serve court is. There is a Serve (or Service) Box (I guess you could say "Service Court??)) in both sports, which is where you want your serve to land, not the side you stand on to serve the ball.
agreed. with the large number of failed returns, balls hit out and into the net I'd put them below 3.5. Not many successful 3rd shot drops, drives or resets. Seems like the go to shot is a weak drive/lobbed shot and both sides have trouble putting those away quickly. Also court positioning for the losing team (failing to get up to NVZ)
Eesh.. I don’t see 4.0. They should have been targeting the lady in green and white shorts hard! For me, if we’re ahead, I remind us not to relax till we get to the last point. If down, just focus on each shot and let the points come. 1 pt at a time. It’s not like rugby where they’re getting 6 pts at a time and there is a time limit on the game so at some point you just can’t recover. Pb- laser focus and you can recover and win.
Thanks for watching. I'm not really sure how the other team reeled off 10 points in a row. It didn't seem like the games changed all that much. I think the team that lost, pretty much thought they had it won.

I think you're probably right. I also think she's the best player on the court. Thanks for watching.
Shows that you always have to stick with it!
It ain't over till it's over! Thanks for watching.

I should probably start doing that more often. I'll make sure do. Thanks for watching.
stretching out and poaching from your left handed teammate was wildest thing going on.
It happens! Thanks for watching.
This is at most 3.0
Thanks for watching.

I like that. Thanks for the advice.
Definitely not 4.0!!! They are 3.0....
More than likely they self-rated themselves. Probably playing up in the tournament. Thanks for watching.
I thought 3.5 at the most
no offense intended but these are not 4.0 players....

Thanks for your opinion.
They're 3.5 solid, playing up in a 4.0 tournament, which is sometimes necessary if there aren't enough players signed up so they combine the levels.

4.0?this is 3.0 at best lol
Thanks for watching and thanks for your opinion.
These players are not 4.0 not even 3.5
Well that's the level they're playing at where they're playing. Thanks for watching.
