I understand. I've helped and rescued thousands of critters in my 73 years but cannot do it anymore. Like you, my heart and soul are still attached to those in need. Fur, scales, feathers, anyone all make my heart hurt and my eyes water. I also was forgotten by others who should have nurtured me until I met my husband and he still tries to make it ok, even after 53 years. I wish the best for you ❤.

I also can connect with this. What Rocky is doing for these dogs is so heart felt. Reminds me of my late dog 😢😢who died out of my lack of availability because of work. Sadly 😢but luckily I got a job working from home and was able to get another dog while caring and also earning lots of dollars from home

Hi, my dog broke his leg as a puppy, they require a new cast every 2 weeks because they grow so fast. My vet bills were in the $1000s. He"ll have to live inside with you while he wears a cast, to keep it clean. So take your time on the fence! He's precious, looks like a blue heeler and he will be very smart! Bean is an awesome name, as in jelly beans!

I rescued a 12 week old stumpy tail Australian Cattle Dog somebody had dumped. She is so smart that it took me almost a year to figure out that she is deaf, which is common for Blue Heelers and Stumpies. Mine looks just like this one and I doubt anyone went to the expense to bob the tail and then abandon him. When you said you're not even paying attention to me, that reminded me of things I used to say to mine before I figured out she couldn't hear. You might check his hearing to be sure. Cattle Dogs are the best!

We just do not know their circumstances and health or financial difficulties, but there is no reason good enough to cause pain unecessarily and this little sweetheart deserves his forever home soon. I am so thankful this little guy and others have a human like Rocky in their life and they are willing to trust and love again.

Aussie here. He appears to be a Stumpy tailed cattle dog. They are a specific breed and not all that common. His tail is caused by genetics! They are a more stocky and rugged version of the Aussie cattle dog. Just remember he is hard wired to herd….. anything that moves!! He’s quite a find!
As for a name….he’d get Red as a name in aust

Blue healers are pretty common in the southwestern part of America. I grew up around horses though so maybe that’s why I think they’re common lol. My brother was a dairy farmer for a decade and I was riding Clydesdales bareback as a child. Either way… they’re great dogs and I hope the baby gets to run and chase soon🙏🏽

Heelers/Cattle Dogs are amazingly loyal, clever and obedient. They're tough too. But always deep down they are sensitive and easily hurt when rejected, told off or misunderstood.... They're wonderful hardy dogs

A little help with the vet bill.
Blue healers are loyal to a fault.
First, he went through the pain of having his tail docked. A completely unnecessary thing to do.
And then something or someone broke his leg.
Poor little pup.
Its an Australian cattle dog/ blue heeler some are born with docked tails.
True, some are born without tails, but many that are born with tails are docked. I hate that. Out of the 3 Cattle Dogs I have been lucky enough to adopt, all when they were adults, the first had a tail, the second was born without one, and the dog I have now was docked as a puppy.

Some Cattle dogs are borne tailless. I have known several. He is very typical of the breed.
They are and they're hardy little souls. I'd love one but I'm middle aged and they are too high energy for me but I love their personalities.
Blue Heelers are just amazing sweethearts, very active, and incredibly smart. He's going to be a terrific dog for someone.
My husband and I had a AC/JR mix and he was the love of our lives. This little puppy is so irresistible. He will pay you back a million times over for everything you do for him. They are the most loyal dogs you could ever have. He is just beautiful. I’m in love!!

I hate that this little guy has been in pain and has had to wait so long for vet treatment (I so hope they don't have to take his leg because of it, the money donated here may mean the difference between the vet taking it and being able to pay for the surgery to fix it) but the generosity of the commenters here (and even a backup adopter!!!) restores my faith in people and I know this little guy will be running around and live a great life now because of you guys!!

I had a half Blue Heeler, half- Aussie that I got from a shelter. She is the best dog I was ever fortunate to have as a friend. 14 years was not near long enough. I have other dogs that I love dearly, but there was something special about our relationship. Her face was all grey on one side like this puppy. The people who abandoned this pup have no idea what they may have missed in a best friend. He is so cute!

Best breed ever. Some say “not for children.” I absolutely disagree. But they are high energy and free-thinking. If they’re “biting” heels or back of legs, that’s their instinct - thus the name “Heeler.”
He's just the most precious li'l guy! You can just feel what a sweetheart he is, from the moment you sat down with him he was ready to give and receive love.
Not sure if this will be seen in the ocean of comments, but I hope it does because I feel Bean is a special little pup and when the time comes to adopt from Flip’s Farm, I would hope to connect and see if I could adopt. I know it might be a long shot because of the traffic this video is getting but worth the try.
My boyfriend and I have a 4 yr old blue heeler, Ellie, who we absolutely adore. She is our first dog and has made us fall in love with the breed. The past couple of months, I have been saying that it feels like the right time to bring in another pup into the family. The thing is I actually am currently in recovery from ACL surgery myself and also am faced with paying off the medical bills. In this way, Bean and I are kind of in a similar boat. I am so grateful to have a wonderful support system to help me along my recovery in the same way that Bean is so lucky to have you guys come in and help him out. If there is a way to stay updated on his journey and when/if he becomes available for adoption from Flip’s Farm, I would love to stay updated.

My son adopted a little dog who'd been on the street for a while. She had a broken leg when they found her, too, and the rescue ultimately decided amputation was the best course of action. She's had a good life. We've often wondered what happened to her before she was rescued. I hope this little guy's leg can be saved and rehabilitated.
These are working dogs, they require a lot of mental and physical stimulation. They nip, prone to chase cars and bikes but they’re awesome dogs if you have the right lifestyle.
