Wow, the de-aging cgi worked really well on steven king
The resemblance is uncanny
Lol
Nice
Beat me to it!
Holy shit, hahahahaa
Gotta love the elk bugling in the distance at 3:19
Yup
3:42 as well😄👌🏼
Good ears buddy! It looks just like my area too, some coastal bulls screaming in September nothing beats it!
was looking in the comments to see if anyone else noticed 😀
I love his 1980’s movie helicopter pilot look
Missing a beard for that.
How did you nail this perfectly?
Good vid once again. Does anyone else here think Hop dances his anger away at night at the nearest factory unit?
Let 'em footlose!
Aww hells yeah, another Hop upload.
Hopload
Tactical 22s are a thing, specially in countries where we cannot own center fire calibers. Please do it!
Nice bull elk whistle in the background at 3:17 and 3:41
Weird seeing Hops eyes in the rainy scenes lol
I'm sorry you had to see that. -Hop
Dudes Hops, I really appreciate you constant flow in your vids. Like you leave no room for any pauses. Straight to the point constantly. Similar to Mrgunsngear style. However I want you to know I know mind pauses from time to time as long as they're brief
Thank you very much for the video. I appreciate the review of less expensive firearms and in particular less expensive suppressor setups. Thank you!
Its always a great day when we get a new hop video. Keep up the awesome work!
These are all facts that took me a few years to figure out. Thanks for the upload
Hells yes! Tricked out .22s sounds like a fun video
Very interesting comparison between the CCI suppressor vs CCI quiet semi-auto options and a very interesting conclusion. Thanks!
Awesome episode !!!!!! Those CCI Quiets are awesome
The TX 22 is by far the best .22 semi auto pistol out there!!! Amazing little pistols
Beretta M9-22 wants to talk
I would definitely like to see a video on tricked out .22s. This vid was very informative.
Went looking for this type of video and had to weed through a bunch that didn't really help. You are the only one that nailed it. Thanks!
Loved the Elk bugle in the background. Also...best gun reviewer on YT.
Oh fuck yeah, its Hop again. Thanks for the video dude!
Yes, tactical 22 pistol info. Sounds cool!
I kept looking for Jan Michael Vincent to fly over in Airwolf at the end.
Shot this gun 2 weeks ago, love it
Damn James the short shorts and IPA make you look young again.
I need to get a suppressor someday. I have a threaded 1022 takedown and a TX22. Purely for plinking for me.
Great vid. Practice that trigger reset, it helped me in comps.
Hop makes the best vids.
We need a video on the Marlin 795. Hop convinced me to get one over a 10/22 over a year ago and I'm glad he did, im very pleased with mine.
Your greatest work!
3:18 Bull Elk bugling. Glad it was quiet to catch that ;)
Dang, that little Taurus is a champ! Who would've thought?!
Thank you thank you thank you for this video!
My Surefire suppressed MKIV thanks you also.
Ooh you got the gucci setup. Very nice. -Hop
I really enjoy the dry humor
I love your videos dude
Everything but what suppressor you were running.
I would love to see a tricked out 22 video! 👍
I run a sico warlock on my tx22, and even with running standard 36 gr ammo I find it more than comfortable to shoot without ear pro. Maybe I shouldn't, but the little 36 grain round hitting a plate is louder than the gun
Fantastic video
I have found in my testing with a decibel meter that in my bolt action suppressed cci suppressor are quieter than the Remington sub Sonics. Out of my m&p 22 though, the Remington is about 3-4 DB quieter. Both are perfectly comfortable and hearing safe with my suppressor. I haven't tried the cci quiet semi auto, but the regular cci quiets sound like a pellet gun, even in the semi auto. This video you can't really portray any good information without a decibel meter. The microphone on the camera makes them all sound equally loud.
@K Silver I don't know. I have a form 1 that looks just like his, but his looks like the 6 inch where mine is 8. I have probably 2 additional baffles over him. Mine is perfectly hearing safe I don't know about his, but 22 is one of the easiest rounds to suppress.
My TX-22 is dead accurate and no issues. Now put on the Sig 22lr suppressor and accuracy and consistency is all over the place. Ragged hole at 10yds then add the suppressor and I couldn't hit a dinner plate.
Anyone else have this issue?
Suppressor looks good and no baffle strikes.
Pretty good last line😆
Lol, awesome 😎! Yes, do the video, I have a suppressed M&P 22 compact but I’m looking to get something high end, like Tactical Solutions Browning’s or something.
Good job Hop (aka SK).
Get a Ruger mk4 22/45 lite and thank me later :)
Nice review
Love to add a suppressor to my TX22 BUT, man they are so damn expensive, not even counting the $200 to buy a suppressor
Good video, thanks
God Bless
The only gun I have chambered in 22 is a Ruger Wrangler single action revolver. Before this afternoon, I only had two partial boxes of high velocity hollow points for it. Today, I lucked into 3 boxes of the CCI Quiet at WalMart. 50 round boxes for $3.84ea. The only other ammo in the store was one box of 28 gauge bird shot and one box of 12 gauge bird shot. At another wallyworld recently, I saw an adult-size 22LR bolt action rifle for less than 200 bucks. If its still there Imma grab it. On another note, I finished my Norinco shotgun project. I'll email a pic if'n ya want.
Never had a problem with CCI standards in 10/22 suppressed.
HOP! PLEASE show us the tacticoolest .22 pistols! I’m particularly interested in the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical or Lite!!! They have a cool gold anodized Lite model that would look great as a fun blingy-plinky boi!!!
Hop, please do that tactical 22 video and ignore the haters.
That reload at 4:46 was smooooooth
nice muzzle rise from the tx22
What was the rifle at 1:00? Marlin tube feed with peep sight?
I’ll have to check it out
Pistol + suppressor + quiet ammo = easy to hear the elk bugle in the background - or was that a bow hunter tuning up for archery elk season? Either way, a great review. I've shot CCI's "Quiet 22" ammo at an indoor range (with hearing protection) and it WAS quiet; out of a Ruger American .22, it sounded like a CO2-powered pellet gun. Thought about joining the Discord, but 23 pages of "Terms of Service" - really? That's pretty discordant. Stay frosty. Cheers.
Discord also takes 14 days to delete. Fuck that...
TFB TV interesting looking suppressor. Did you make that yourself after your tax stamp? What did it start off as?
Its cool hearing the elk in the background
It's not a real elk. -Hop
I cannot wait until my tx22 shows up
Elk call at 3:17 was awesome!
I hope they were successful. -Hop
Hey hop, where did you get your form 1 components??
did you find that the stock iron sights were sufficient when using a supressor? I wIsh that it came with supressor height sights on the TX22 to give you a better sight picture while using a can
“So you can keep plinking while eating a slimjim with your ear pro off” this was made for me 😂
Whats the sound of the round that the camera picks up from behind the fire arm
Have you tried the ATI GSG FireFly HGA? If so what do you think?
I enjoyed this video but was too distracted by the booth babe
soot. it was full of soot. Carbon is formed under heat and pressure. think tail end of an ar-15 bolt, or the gas piston face on an Ak47. soot is the powder fouling that is alot softer.
Does it still fit in the glove box of your Subaru Forester with the suppressor attached?
I sold my Forester. :(
-Hop
@The Shocker, didn't think anyone would pick up on the lesbian/Forester marketing connection. Every time I see a Forester I think of Martina Navratilova.
Seriously Hop, I really dig your content and thanks for being a good sport while the internet beats you up for our entertainment.
TFB TV Hopefully for a WRX or STI =>
question for you....I just purchased the Taurus TX 22. I have Sig SRD 45 Suppressor along with the Sig 1/2 x 28 TPI which would work with the TX 22 threaded barrel. Will the SRD 45 work with a .22 pistol or would I need an SRD 22?
Good video
Have you tried CCI standard? They cycle my P 07 Kadet 99.9% of the time, plus they are pretty cheap!
I'd like to see a video on tricked out .22 pistols, although I don't think there's much I can do to the Kadet :(
CCI Standard is good but I have no problems with dirt cheap Federal bulk pack ammo so I just use that most of the time. -Hop
Running a full size M&P22 with an AAC and pretty much anything other than hypers (Velocitors, Stingers) remain subsonic and run the gun fine. .22s are dirty, with a can, very dirty. Clean often or jam often.
Is there anything about sub-sonic ammunition that would render it with les.... "kill-ability" when dealing with Hogs? I'm novice in this area and any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
Where did you get your Form 1 kit?
What was the OD and length of your form1 ?
Anyone else captivated by seeing Hops eyes for the first time, or is that just me?
Sound decibel apps should be calibrated first with an actual decibel meter. I picked one up for under 15 bucks, they're not expensive.
sweet fuel filter! did you go Form 1 ?
Have you tried the "cci clean" by chance?
Run the sub-sonic and cci quiet thru my KelTec P17 with absolutely little or no problems!
Suppressed or no?
Give us the link for those extended tx-22 mags and we will see that you get more then a bit part in the next Cagney and Lacey remake.
Did you realize that a bugling bull elk sounded off in the background at 3:20-3:25 in your video? And again at 3:40 or so?
You’re missing something really special going on out there!
Informative! Well done! Thanks!
Was that an elk in the back ground? Thanks for the info.
Could you tell us what kind of ear protection you use in this video? Have you upgraded since this video? I'm looking for a nice set of headphones. Thanks!
Hey hop, what suppressor did you use in this video? Thanks
Do you have a link for the suppressor you used
Quieter then STI TT 2011 John Wick
Airsoft 😅🤙 thanks Steven ?
What’s the link/website for the suppressor used on the TX 22?
Haven't been able to find eather since July 2019.
Did I miss where you said what suppressor you are using? I bought my own Tx22 shortly after watching your review and was really dreaming of buying a decent budget 22 suppressor as well. I think I shoot in your same neighborhood if you ever want company.
I cant give too many specifics or YT might yeet us off the platform. -Hop
Please do a tactical 22 video as a 90’s celebrity!
what brand of suppressor is that?
Not allowed here in mass but super interesting
Which suppressor is he using?
How about Aguila SSS Sniper Subsonic in 60 gr?
You got a suppressor through an e-file form 1? I thought it was a form 4?
Got ya. I understand now.
What suppressor is that?
Trying to figure out why Hop looked so strange in some of the clips, realized he ain't wearing shades and I can see his eyes.
Those are the same glasses, transition lenses.
@@stevemc6010 I meant seeing his eyes threw me off.
Also, transitions or clip-ons? Which is more Hop?
@@grofnerd5615 Magnetic. You can spot transitions because they're never dark enough in the sun or clear enough indoors. -Hop
Which suppressor were you using?
What suppressor is on the Taurus?
Elk bugle gets you bonus points.
