I've never played Heroes 2, but I'm a fan of Heroes 3 and considered myself a decent player until I saw your fights.
Your ability to achieve great things with such low numbers never ceases to amaze me. Even if you are facing a setback, you just adjust and soldier on. Honestly man, it's a joy to watch. Thank you 🙂

It’s cool to see how much different your play has taken you from where mine is.
Just a small convenience tip: there are arrows at the bottom of town and hero screens which allow you to scroll through towns / heroes in order. This saves time in comparison to opening something, having a look, closing the window, then repeating.
He was using them midway with the "left/Right" hotkeys. But to add to that you can even do it from the build screen, not just the town screen.
When you finish this can you try the map called Element Land on Heroes 3 HOTA i had tons of fun playing it, it is really unique and worth trying

Earlier in the game, Orange and Green had heroes with stats in the mid-20s. Then, all of a sudden, both of their heroes became quite pedestrian. Now, at the start of this video, the heroes for all of the opponents are even worse. Yellow was never great, but now has a 0-0-4-2 as its best hero? Green doesn't have any stat in double figures? What is going on that all of the enemy heroes have been getting progressively worse?
I think they list the heroes with the current strongest army stack as their strongest hero, not the one with the best stats

It's not about the army size but hero stats. Army size is secondary.
@@TheNovicek Unless you're fighting Black Dragons. >:| Had my unstoppable hero with a huge army very thoroughly stopped by 5 of them in a recent game.
@@KyriosHeptagrammaton So the hero was neither unstoppable nor did they have a huge army... 5 black dragons isn't that big :D
@@TheNovicek In my current game my foes has 2000 Bone dragons and 1000 vampires and I'm having a much easier time dealing with them. Spell immunity is a a game changer
