You know how I can tell this was successful? In each episode, I could picture the graphic novel of this adventure. I just wish I had the talent to draw it. I hope you do more RQ.
I hope this friend of the pod gets invited back. Brian was great and Laura, Troy, Josephine, and Joe, you guys are amazing at breathing life into characters.
Runequest is such a good rpg. They should make it a semi regular game on the channel. The character creation alone is really fun lol. Also would be fun to see the full hardcore playthrough of the game. This was a good tutorial playthrough tho.
Really great looking system. The group seemed to enjoy it. Skill based games are a lot more intuitive than d20 ones imo. If you have never played either before.
Caveat for viewers who might get the wrong idea: Rex's spirit combat bears no similarity to the rules! Using a simple spirit spell, Second Sight, to allow Spirit Combat agains a physical target, but using physical combat rules... yeah, that's serious house-ruling!
Such an interesting combat system, you could clearly see that all the players were really involved in the battle, paying attention to what is happening and enjoying it. This is a huge difference compared to DnD battles and in a good way, I am sold, I need to try it out or implement it somehow. The setting is not my jam but this system is probably used somewhere else. Also the character creation seemed very fun. Brian, as a fellow European I can only say when I hear "I am five feet 2 tall" this does not bring a corresponding height of a person in my head, its just blank. It does not help when the players are introducing their characters so I just imagine them as 180cm tall or roughly 18 cans of soup.

I hope they continue. These are my favorite characters since Haunted City.
I saw this exact group in the booth playing together when I was at Gencon, so fingers crossed for another episode coming!

You mean Noura...
@@torchit2302 autocorrect makes fools of us all.
Loved this. Brian is really great. Good storyteller, quick witted, full of antipodeanisms … what more could you want?
I was waiting for Troy to say "oh no, did somebody get addicted to casting Crack?" After Joe discovered his magic
RuneQuest is an amazing "platform" GCN! Consider making a full show with it.

I only now realized that they were trying to steal all the Pyneapples
Awesome group! Continue it please! Lol
This is such a fantastic game, and I absolutely love Brian on the network. Need to have him back, what a champion.
Loved how well this went! You were all just very fun and highly entertaing! Now I am so hyped to see you return to Runequest!
Man this episode was amazing and we need more of it for sure.
This 3 part series made me order the bundle of Runequest so thank y;all for that but also when the hell did y'all play Symbaroum?? I love that system
So Rex was blind the whole time, well played with walking one step at a time and the constant peering into the spirit world.
Runequest may not exactly be my jam, but that reputation mechanic where you become more famous on percentage is amazing!
I'm hoping this will get my group in the mood for more runequest. Glorantha is a fun, but brutal setting
Elves being cannibals because they eat plants, that's like humans being cannibals because they eat meat.
The sheer amount of content that just dropped....
You guys work like crazy! Been loving the sodes lately!
Glad to hear it!
LOVE BRIAN (we gotta kidnap this guy)

Another great little adventure with a fun cast & GM cheers to you all.
I really dig Laura character! Never fought stereotypical L.A. representative can be so
she's a mood

Love Rune quest. Love GCN :-)
I've been playing Runequest since the mid-70's so ig you folks would like someone to run more Runequest, please let me know!
Wilhelm Scream Time!
Next time, please show the meowing cat? 🙏
Brian is so great
Shouldn't there have been a zero percent chance Wilma would have heard about Yanda?
Somebody please make an audio clip of Joe saying "Crack, I like that. Crack!" please? 58:56ish... thanks in advance
I second this nomination.
T'm teaching my nephew runequest do he can practice for maths exams
Brian, you mispronounced Emu on purpose. Did you do it to cater to American audiences? Be not ashamed to say Eeeeeemu
