@@mauroscagliotti8612 hi, there is: you can iron on some interfacing on the back, or you can apply a thin layer of textile glue to the back. This does not make the fabric very supple however. Hope that helps, have fun! Best Eva
Love this video ! I got a pinch needle from my husband 35 years ago. He bought it in Africa during a business trip. There was no manual ( and no internet those days) to look it up. I couldn’t figure out how it worked😢. Being a very creative person I would have loved it ! Now I cannot find the needle anymore. But I think I will buy a new one !
😄 Wonderful Tutorial! New to Needle Punching but fondly remember gluing down yarn to make an art piece in junior high school. You need a *lot* *of* *patience* with both of these cool techniques. Thank You for showing us how to _"get thru this"_ Needle Punch Style!
I always wonder if you are done with punching and your work is complete, won't the stitches get unstitched from behind if you move or touch it too much? Can I do it on my T-shirts?
The tightness of the cloth around the loop will keep projects from unraveling. The cloth is stretched a bit on the embroidery hoop. Once she takes it off the hoop, the cloth will tighten around the stitches as it relaxes and hold them in place.

Explanation is wonderful...👍👌👌plz let me know the beginner's to about the quality of fabric's and what type of threads u have used this ...thank u so much ..
Hi, I'm using jute/burlap but monk's cloth is also common. If it's not working, you likely need to work on the combination of yarn, needle and fabric. I'm using a thick needle and thick cotton yarn here.

Hi, I just uploaded a video about which fabric to use with punch needling, you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/aHggBDok888/видео.html. Thank you!
Hi Sofia, the fabric that is most often sold as particular 'punch needle fabric' is monk's cloth, but you can use linen or jute as well. In fact, any fabric with a simple weave structure can be used, it all depends on the right combination of fabric and yarn. Coarser weaves should be used with thicker yarn, as I do in this video. Hope that helps!
Hi, I just uploaded a video about which fabric to use with punch needling, you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/aHggBDok888/видео.html. Thank you!
What about the other side of cloth..the embroidery loops will be loose or not ? How it can be tight without any knot. ? How long It can be as same as it is starting time
Hi Razina, the loops are loose indeed, but they stay in place because of the tension of the weave in the cloth. If you create embroidery just to hang on the wall, it will stay in place forever. If you create something that will more, for example on a toy or on clothing, I recommend you fix it with textile glue or with some iron-on interfacing. Hope that helps!
Hi, you skip a few holes, depending on whether the row you are making is curved or not you can make the stitches a bit longer. I make stitches in straight rows about 4 'holes' long. Hope that helps!
Hi, most likely the stitches will come out when the fabric is stretched. If you have the materials on hand, I'd give it a try on a small piece of fabric. Check out my video on fabrics if you'd like more information: ruclips.net/video/aHggBDok888/видео.html Good luck!
Hi, I used jute / burlap, please check out my other video on fabrics that are good for punch needling for some tips. Stretchy, light fabrics like in a t-shirt are not so good for this technique, because the stitches might come out, and the work is not very supple. Good luck
Hoping you see and respond! So if I want to have words, it doesn't need to be in reverse if I trace in the top? I'm very confused with the videos I've been seeing about reverse and not and underneath or on top of the fabric
Hi Chelsea. If you have words and you trace on top of the fabric, you do not need to reverse the letters. If you have words and you trace underneath, you do need to reverse. Whenever you're confused, just trace your shape using your intended method on a piece of paper clearly marked 'back' and 'front' to test it out, that way you can be sure! Good luck
You can cut off the yarn at the length of the loops in the back of the work - no need for a knot. If you've used the right needle size and yarn for your fabric, the stitches should not come out.

I don't know this sort of embroidery. I wonder how the thread stays on the other side - under- when you pull it up. Very beautiful 😍
U bent een Nederlandse
Hi, the loops stay in place because you place so many of them that the fabric is completely full and under some pressure.

Hi Sana, there is no need to secure the ends, you can just cut them off at the length of the loops.

Surprisingly, no! When you have that many tight stitches in the fabric the yarn/thread won't budge even if you cut off the end.
