  • I found a knife you wont believe that's under $100! And it comes with a ferro rod, kydex sheath and scrapper. A fantastic package for someone just getting started in bushcraft or someone who is building their bug out bag or survival kit. Check out my review and field test of this awesome knife.

I appreciate the honesty about the manufacturing. That is a major consideration when buying a knife. Too many companies charge a premium price for offshore manufacturing. That is unacceptable. Most get the steel from China anyway. It is important to have an American company offer an affordable high quality knife. I support those companies.

Good looking knife and kit, but the China manufacturing breaks the deal for me

That’s a nice looking knife, I own the redline I got for $30. It works very well for the price and size and am very happy with it. This one tho at $100 is a tougher sale for me. If I’m spending that much I could get a Kabar USA made knife or spend $10-$20 more for a USA made Esee knife. If you’re manufacturing it in China, I’m not sure where the $100 price tag is coming from. Is it all the accessories? I’d rather not have them then lol. And if someone really wants a Ferro rod in their sheath, you can either make an attachment yourself or find one online. I know there’s someone who makes a 5/16 Ferro rod attachment for the bk2 and Esee sheaths and it costs around $18. And you can use a better Ferro rod. I just don’t see the value is this compared to other options

I own this knife in particular and I absolutely love it. I carry this knife as well as a big cat roar knives tracker, and my 21 in sven saw and my as well as the holtzman gorilla neck knife and my victorinoc ranger grip 79 and lat but not least the last two item I army in go bag is my coldsteel pipehawk and my spetnaz shovel that I use to split wood with...yes it will do that quite easily. I'm cover with my wood tool tarp and hammock as a shelter system and some other necessities to be out there my ouch pouch and fire kit and my quiver with my 50 pound slingbow I'm into traveling light...always have been a bit of a Bedouin type. Cheers all get this knife though forbthe price you can't beat it. Believe me I have tried. My wife prefers to carry her Condor Wayfinder which is also an excellent choice. Just keep it oiled. 1095hc has a bad habit of rusting quickly if not maintained. D2 will as well not just as quick or bad as 1095hc. I prefer d2 steel for my knives it's tough and durable and you can put a seriously lethal edge on it.

I have one of their knives a smaller compact version. It could be used as a neck knife as well. I was actually impressed with it. Great review.

I have two of his neck/boot style knives, great knives. Hold an edge very well, the Ferro rod is ment to be a backup and does work pretty good.
    He's out of Idaho.

this is just an FYI, I am honestly not trying to be a smart ass. The false edge towards the tip is only there sold off the tip can be sharper. If the false edge was not there the tip would almost be dull enough to not cut lol. You probably already know this but a lot of your viewers may not. I have been re-profiling and sharpening knives, carving equipment for a long time. Thank you for your contact younger people need to listen to you.

Also like the Knives of Alaska in D2 steel knives. Very lightweight and well built. But prefer kydex to the leather sheaths the KOA knives come with.

Kydex is a plastic sir. And there are many number of brands of knives coming out of China that are top notch...unfortunately. As i am a premium American made knife buyer, user and collectors.

China can bui good quality stuff. Only when this same knives was made in the US.... It would easily cost 3 times as much.
