I've been following your adventures since the previous trip to the Adriatic and you've certainly intrigued us willingness to venture further and longer. Hi guys, have started belatedly catching up on your Scandi trip. Am loving it so far. Bee & Theo of Indie Projects spent about 3 months up in Norway and the Lofoten Islands, and they loved it up there. (You may know they're based in Portugal) They spurred on my own dream of travelling there one day. Am starting to learn Swedish and will see how it goes. My neighbours are moving to Sweden in August next year, so I want to be travel-ready for a trip out there lol. Anyway, am sorry I didnt subscribe much sooner than I did, but I just want to say how much I love your videos and I hope you're able to continue your travels for a long time to come. Hej hej! Senja actually was the southernmost spot of our Norway journey in June 2019, because we had come from Finland (Kilpisjärvi) and returned there. Pity you haven't continued and taken the ferry to Kvaløya, because from there you can drive via a bridge to Tromsø, which is a stunning place as well. From there you could have easily driven South on the mainland. We weren't able to enjoy Senja a lot due to bad weather conditions, but we'll return there some other time hopefully with more luck regarding the weather.
@@theexPAWers It is weird how the flies prefer certain dogs. We had a huskey that the flies were terrible biting the tips of her ears, we had to put bug repellent made just for flies on her ears, so weird! The flies didn't bother our other dogs at all.

As some others have said, perhaps a walking pole might be an idea to stop Sarah busting another rib? OMG! Those mountains (the sceneries) so perfect! How did you find them? They are God's most hidden treasures! Did you used google maps in looking for beautiful mountains? A perfect hike... Feeling those wonders of the world as you walk along with your boys. So lovely, you had given more than what I expected. In that part of Northern Norway, it's pretty much all mountain. Hard to miss :) Senja is wonderful, but also Hinnoya, Vesteralen, Lofoten and much underestimated Steigen is fantastic. Also the inlands are amazing, Dividalen national park and around Altevann. I miss home 😪

If your passing through Germany on the way back you could check out the castles along the river between Mainz and Koblenz. If passing through France there are the castles in the Loire Valley, also the Popes castle in Avignon. (not personally been to any of these locations but has seen them in other videos).

the exPAWers when I have finished my build I will have to save up , not that I’m any good with today’s technology, I’m OK building things and coming up with ideas but technology seems out of my capabilities, I seen a drone on a web site that was very cheap with a camera, but knowing my luck I will probably crash it over a cliff. Love your vids. Avon skin so soft oil spray keeps all insects away. We use it on our horses to keep fly's away and it works.

Wow! Amazing journey! And like the sound of the Thai bean hot sauce pasta! Looking on google maps just now it says it’s about 4 degrees there...! We got our diesel heater in and fired up at last, just need to tidy things back up in the van now. Next trip - Whitby in half term! 😂😂😂 Donna x

In that part of Northern Norway, it's pretty much all mountain. Hard to miss :) Senja is wonderful, but also Hinnoya, Vesteralen, Lofoten and much underestimated Steigen is fantastic. Also the inlands are amazing, Dividalen national park and around Altevann. I miss home 😪

If your passing through Germany on the way back you could check out the castles along the river between Mainz and Koblenz. If passing through France there are the castles in the Loire Valley, also the Popes castle in Avignon. (not personally been to any of these locations but has seen them in other videos).

Maybe get yourself a Walking Pole, easy to store in a backpack when not in use as they can fold or are telescopic. Usually sold in pairs so you could have one each.
