This car is good. I switch between the 787B and this. For me, the 787B is better because I get around 1.31s with it, while I get 1.33s with the R92CP. Love the Nissan.
I've always wanted something like this under 800pp... I love everything from this era... I just have everything always maxed out... This was a great tune and a great drive... Can't wait to take it to the ring with this tune ... Now I need to dig for some other gems you got on your playlist 💪👑💨✊

Very nice presentation with VR2 in use. From memory your lap times were 1m29s on sardegna looks like VR made you drive faster? Your definetly not slower with VR on.
I think this tune is a little faster than my previous one. Perhaps a little harder to drive though.

What are your thoughts on the sound with your VR system? Is there any way of getting a map on the HUD?
I’ve not used it much as I often find it hard to talk properly when I have them in my ears.
But when I’m not making a video and use them the sound immersion is great. But I am only comparing to the sound from my monitor which doesn’t have great speakers.
I always had that car but could never drive it, I didn’t realise how money efficient it was!

It’s pretty amazing to be honest. I’m going to miss it when I give it back. Just as you’ve said before. It’s VERY hard to justify the cost. I’ll explain all in my review video. I just need to record it 🤣🤣

This is my go to car for Sardegna. This tune looks slightly faster than the one I'm using, so I'll give it a shot! You can also shave a tiny bit more time off the lap by wall riding on the corner in front of the big church building.
Give it a try. I think I it’s a little harder to drive but it’s potential to be faster 👍🏻👍🏻

@@valkyriedd5849 getting the fastest lap times in a race you're using only for credit grinding is called being smart. Besides, we've seen wall riding used effectively in actual motorsports, so scoffing at a viable racing technique is pretty silly if you ask me.
The VR must be amazing to use, but it makes me a little motion sick watching it play 2D through youtube!

It is just like real driving, you may want to avoid Wipeout in VR though that will Mack you sick
@SuperJimboJet it might be like real driving to the person playing, but if you watching it on a screen it's totally different
GT7 in VR is really easy on the motion sickness, as it is not to far away from the real feeling for your brain except for the g-forces. The only thing where it gets tough is the rally stages with really high jumps. Then it is really close to wipeout or rigs…
What’s the compassion between auto and manual with this tune in lap times
There are faster setups for the nissan and i got a setup for the 787B, did a 22:26 with 1:26.1 racetime. Nissan is a little bit slower with a 22:31 because of higher tyre wear

@@Doughtinator the nissan build is around everywhere, I think its from turbodatsun. And the setup for the mazda i did myself. The base is always the same from turbodatsun for every gr. 1 car and i changed some things for the mazda
Even if I'm on fuel mixture 2 before pitting I still don't have enough fuel on the last lap so I have to switch to a leaner mixture like 4. Any tips?
By last I mean 8th lap
If you’re using manual gears you can shift earlier. You’ll save fuel like that.
Or you could just use mix 3 from the start.

Does it had to do with me playing on controllers vs wheel ? Even with stick jammed all the way, MASSIVE understeer (understatement).

These tunes understeer less and are nicer to drive. But they aren’t as fast.

Reading between the lines, does it mean that my problem is coming from using a controller?
@@afrenchydownunder it's probably more to do with your driving style than with the controller. When there's massive understeer on a tune that works well for a lot of people, that tells me you're taking turns too fast. Extend the braking zone a bit and stay off the gas till you pass the apex of your turns, and you'll find that the massive understeer goes away.

It hurts my brain that this car is only 2,000,000 credits while it’s super useful and will make money then they have old non performance cars for 20,000,000 that will do nothing but maybe one drive just to drive it … who is setting the prices for these cars ??
It’s just cause it’s based more off a perfect example of that historic cars real world price which is cool for everything under 5 million but after that it’s like come on make races for it at least and make a way to get to those historic cars

At Sardegna no. I can’t even remember ever losing the CRB. But at Tokyo. Yes all the time. Just a slight tap and CRB is gone!

@@Doughtinator it can come down to transmission tuning. With the tuning calculator (I'm assuming this is the same $10 one as posted on GT Planet), there's some attempt at optimizing the distance between gears, and it certainly impacts fuel economy. 1st and 2nd gear are rather close, and the following gears all have increasing space between them. It seems to work well for fuel economy on tracks where you're most often in your top gears (Le Mans). But it's not always the best when it comes to slower, more technical tracks (Nurburgring GP Circuit). And in my experience, it doesn't often lend itself to the fastest possible lap times.
The Nissan is a great car and fun to drive which can't be said of all the great cars in game.
What gives with the fuel efficiency though ? The Nissan is good on fuel but certain cars are absolutely terrible. Some of the road cars wouldn't manage 1.5 laps on leanest settings ffs :)
The race cars have better fuel economy and tire wear than the road cars, generally speaking (although the Gr. 4 Alfa Romeo race car seems to be an exception). If you pop a race car engine into a road car (like the R92CP engine in the R34 GT-R), you get the fuel economy benefits as well. Looking towards real life, road cars are often run with fuel mixes on the richer side. It helps them run cooler and helps the engines run reliably for longer. But being a rich fuel mix, that means there's more fuel being injected with every engine cycle, and that will make fuel economy worse. Race cars are expected to run hard, run hot, and receive service after every race. So tuners can run a stoichiometrically optimal fuel/air mixture, and thus fuel economy is improved along with performance.
Lol, your average lap time is 3 sec faster than my absolute best (try hard, fuel map 1, tune from reddit/youtube, multiple tries)
It's his ability to drive that seperates us from him. I am the same as you, which is much slower then chriss😅. I've question how he is so fast in the past, and his response was that he has been sim racing for many years befor GT7 was released.
Do you always get 727000 credits even if more than 23 mins? What is the minimum requirement in mins to get always 727000 always?
You always get the same payout no matter what your race time as long as you win.
But the faster you can finish the race the faster you earn those credits 👍🏻

Amazing tune. Absolutely killed it. However, I can’t manage a “clean race” under 25:17 lol. Extremely frustrating watching you pull casual 1:28’s every single lap while my fastest was a 1:36 😂

I should also mention that I started the race one fuel map 4, and ran map 4 through to lap 9, when I pitted. Switched to map 3 on the out lap, and last lap was obviously map 1 for full attack. However, My fastest lap was achieved using fuel map 4.

Chipping away now. Racetime 24:43.786 with a fast lap of 1:34.046. If I didn’t have work in 5 hours I’d be up all night learning this track. Tomorrow is Friday anyway. I know now what I’ll be doing this weekend.

When it comes to credit grinding, you don't actually want close, challenging races. They take away from the credits-per-hour earning potential. If you're just doing the races for fun, however, then sure make them as challenging as you wish.

This game is lame it’s nowhere near as good as GT5 and unless you’re rich and can afford a 2500$ steering wheel and VR headset you can never compete with the top racers in the world
Let's be honest: Even with a pricey wheel and VR headset, you're probably still not competing with high level drivers. Just like buying the $200 pair of shoes doesn't make you as good as a pro ball player.
