If United can get a destroyer as a defensive midfielder, I strongly believe that the team's problems will be almost 65% solved. That United team is screaming out for a proper destroyer as a defensive midfielder!🙄

Maybe we don't get it all done this window or season, but a boy can dream. 😊
Honestly I want a safe recycler more than anything in the club right now. We have a lot of players who are too risky and cause a lot of turnovers. We need someone who is the opposite. Who is a high volume passer, good range of passing with high accuracy and a good recycler of possession. Ugarte is good in these areas while being top 0.1% out of possession. Another reason why I believe Collyer is a very good prospect.
I am 90% sure that a loan with permanent option to buy and an immediate purchase has little difference in terms of PSR. It just delays the payment slightly making a saving in terms of the time value of money. I think our issues are more PSR related rather than cash
I know the talk Joao Neves was our no1 midfield target.. but a 5’7 lightweight passer and mainoo? I just don’t see it.. that’s like when people were trying to force Donny to play a 6
I agree with you. United over the past couple of year became a team full of midgets and nimble players - Antony, Amad, Sancho, Fred, Malacia, and so many other short and weak players that they get dispossed in just a tap.
But Sam, the amortisation is the decisive element in the spend plan. 50m over 5 years is 10m a year, so we have spent 20m so far in regard to FFP. just depends on where we are in previous years.
Ugarte is the perfect player 100% , we do not need any CM with defensive abilities, we need a DM , with not necessarily offensive abilities, we have mainoo, ugarte will compliment him very well

You are spot on, Dan ash-worth should do job to find players like you mentioned that Mirko Topíc would be great, I researched about him, we may even hit a jackpot since we would get him cheap, sell Mac Tomminy, he would worth 35mill least. Teams actually hurt Man U when we need to sell, i mean Fulham lost Paulhina, shouldn’t they go fro Mac Tomminy, but they bid less for him then went to pay over 35mill for Smith Rowe who barely played game last season

All I'm going to say here, is that we shouldn't BANK on us returning to the CL next season. It must be the aim, but after ending 8th, and other teams also improving their squads, it wont be as easy for us to get there like it was two seasons ago. Lets first see how we have 'improved' since last season, and from what I've seen on the pitch lately, it really doesn't look much better. Win the Europa, start there.
Bro dont hype us like you did last season with Sofyan and Onana. No way i am falling for that trap again😢😢😢😢 you really cant predict if a signing is good or bad
I would prefer Ugarte because he's better at cutting passing lanes than Zubimendi. We already have progressive players in the midfield in Maino and Bruno. We need a destroyer who can play comfortably as a single pivot and is more defense-minded. That'll be Ugarte. I think that's why United have pushed so hard for him. We have never had that since Matic.
Weird that so many fan channels don’t understand the finance side. I mean, I get it, it’s not for everyone, but why talk about it if you know you don’t know? (For this example we’ll ignore wages since it’s same enough for both scenarios): Buy now 70m over 5 years, 14m a year is the cost. Loan with obligation: there would be a LOAN FEE, PSG will ensure this is around £14m. This means it’s the same cost to us.
How will PSG "ensure" the loan fee is 14M? That's negotiable, just like every other part of a deal. I would bet it would be quite a bit lower. Time will tell.
@@scottsinner7530 Sure, they could also negotiate it to be 20m, the point is on loan he is going to 'cost' them around £10m so it will never be lower than that. We wouldnt pay more than £14m as otherwise we just buy.
You are talking about revenue increase if we qualified to UCL We are still in UEFA league is it not the same thing or Tickets cost is at different price?
PSG is buying Jaoa Neves for 70 million. So what gives with paying 70 for Ugarte? No way, PSG. I wish we could just bring ONE awesome young midfielder who ticks all the boxes. But hey, I am holding too tight to an unrealistic dream. PSG is annoying.
We are concentrating on RB, instead of LB, where we still don't know the condition of Shaw and Malacia, we need a perfect partner of Mainoo, like Ugarte and surely one more CB first..
The lack of standard and the fear of losing players make most Man Utd fans comfortable with Wan Bissaka and Mctominay staying. Obsession with average players. Ask them why should Wan Bissaka stay, they'd tell you he's good at 1v1. Any other thing doesn't matter to them. Let's wake up, we can't compete to the level we wanted with most of these players. Football has changed... Gone are those days where only tackles work.
Ugarte on loan with an obligation to buy next summer would be the perfect deal as ultimately would save funds while also adding a quality midfielder to our ranks that we desperately need. Sign Ugarte, De Ligt & Mazraoui it'll be a very solid window for us.
We wont be getting into top 4 with the usual 2/3 yearly transfers. It will ve same old same old. 2/3 transfers barely keeps up jusg maintaining 6th to 8th with other teams, the top 4 will improve further etc.

No one is going to pay PSG £70m for Urgarte. Real Madrid only paid £120m for Bellingham who every club in Europe wanted. Either they don’t want to sell him or they are just messing us around. PSG are owned by the Qatari’s who also tried to buy United and weren’t too happy with coming second to SJR.
I mean, that's the question with every single actual signing we make -- we've just given this player a 4-5 year contract, what if they're not successful?
@@scottsinner7530 the fact that this is a loan (trial period) the obligation to buy makes it more risky only. If it was an option to buy at least the risk is not on a lot of players but a few who were fully purchased.

I think it's because (a) we're not linked in any concrete way to a dedicated LB, (b) if Mazraoui comes in, he can play LB sometimes if needed, and (c) unless we're selling Shaw or Malacia (which seems unlikely, since Luke is often injured and on a lot of money, and Malacia still hasn't recovered from an injury from a year ago) I don't see how United sign a third senior LB, also with Amass being close to ready to rotate through the senior squad at times.
