- Thank you for watching my first RUclips video! In this video, I mostly use clippers to try out different hairstyles (Bob, French Bob, Undercut) before deciding whether or not to make the BIG CUT.
I filmed this on October 21, 2022. I had been wanting shave my head for about a year, and I finally got the courage to try it! The shortest haircut I ever had up until this point was a jaw-length bob. I have trimmed my hair and bangs many times, but I am absolutely not a professional and am not trained (you can tell by my terrible grown-out layers).

Looks awesome! Everyone should do this at least once. Its feels so freeing! I kept mine like that for a couple of years and just recently let it grow for a year. I'm about to cut it all back off tonight and I can't wait 😁
@@megbee22 I totally agree! It’s so freeing, and I could have easily kept it that short. As I’ve grown it out, I have considered taking it all off again so many times 😆
I love it. I'm 77 and I've cut my own hair for 20 years. I'm tempted to borrow the hubs shaver and give it a try.

You look great with all the stages of the haircut! I’ve been wanting to buzz cut my hair but everyone says no. I identify myself as always having long hair so it’s scary to make the cut. I don’t have the bone structure either so I dont think I’ll be cute or feminine lol. You have such great bone structure to rock this!! Love it!!

I think you should’ve put more hair on the bangs in the French Bob! To make it more thicker and heavy , but honestly I’m not lying when I’m saying you rocked every single phase so beautifully

@ Anytime! And I agree!!! The buzz cut was literally so made for you! You looked so gorgeous! And it even showed in your face! I don’t know what reasons did you have to do this but it was 100% a good decision!!! The only thing is that I would’ve gotten to 0 guard if in already there 😅 just for the experience! But I really admire the confidence, and the bravery to do it. Specially when you don’t know what reaction time expect from your family or friends!! How did you gained that confidence tho? I’m a guy with waist length hair but I’m anxious and insecure to wear it down in front of my family and friends. Any tips? Would love a video about it or you could just reply here! @ I’d love to do a video about that! I didn’t know how my family or friends would react, and I was nervous to show them! But I kept reminding myself I have wanted this for a long time, and I love it - I gained a lot of confidence from finally cutting it all. No one else HAS to like it (though it’s nice if they do 😏) & what’s the worst that could happen - they tell me they don’t like it? That doesn’t change my mind bc I like what I see and it’s more authentic for me at this point in my life ❤️
@@cillatruly I love that answer!! So powerful. And it resonates with how I wanna feel!! Sometimes I overthink about it so much. Thinking about they are gonna think I’m gay, or I wanna look like a woman or even just hippie vibes! I don’t really know why my mindset is so strong for every other aspect in my life except for my hair. Like I care too much about their opinion when the only one that should like it is myself. Honestly it would be so good to see a video like that and I think you actually know what you are talking about 😊 and it’s so interesting how you REALLY did it. So inspired by you!

any tips for good hair growth after head shave
@@AK49D I used argon oil after I washed it - it’s easy for your hair and scalp to get dry when it’s that short. And a little oil goes a long way... and you can also take folic acid - it’s in prenatal vitamins, but it’s also sold in capsules. It helps produce keratin & healthy hair growth
@ thanks a lot can I ask why you buzz your hair . Do you think buzz cut is better option then getting it completely shaved for good hair growth
@ I don’t know about that, I didn’t notice a difference in my hair thickness after I cut it. I wasn’t considering shaving it completely at the time, I just wanted low-maintenance short hair. Shaving it is a lot more maintenance if you’re keeping it shaved, but if your hair is really damaged, it might be a good option? Definitely ask a professional if you can, idk anything about keeping a shaved head

@cillatruly Long hair suited you and your hair was very well-groomed. Do you plan on growing it out again? Do you plan on shaving it off after growing it out?
@ I’m growing it out right now, but I will probably cut it short again eventually. I haven’t wanted to shave it, but that might change 🤪

Looking awesome with a buzz. Since you're this short, why don't you try shaving it to the skin with a razor?
I love the bald look on other women, but I think my tan line and seeing my dark hair follicles under my skin would bug me... idk, I might try that eventually! but maybe not in the winter😆

@cillatruly That is all that matters. As a widower now, I can tell you I would have been very unhappy. lol I don't dislike short hair, but extreme buzz cuts, no. I wish you and your dh happiness and a merry Christmas! ❤️
