Takeover Brooklyn II was my first time seeing it live. My video is gone from RUclips but everyone at Barclays singing was GLORIOUS. Possibly only topped by singing Nakamura's theme later in the main event.
How they dropped the ball with this man on the main roster will forever be mind boggling to me. He was a ready made guy in NXT they didn’t need to change a single thing.
My late brother and I used to joke all the time the move from NXT to main roster was the demotion. That Black and Gold era of NXT was our favorite era to watch together besides of course the Attitude Era as kids. The 4 Takeovers we went to are possibly the 4 best shows we saw live.
Lol get that garbage out of here. This is Bobby Roode. The IT Factor of pro wrestling. Top 5 TNA talent of all time. His NXT/WWE gimmick was garbage and just a bunch of geeks wanting to sing along. It turned Roode into a one trick joke. He shouldve been as important as AJ Styles. Bobby Roode was one of those guys we all said would be a million bucks in WWE and they ruined it
The song and the presentation were incredible but Bobby had the look and the charisma to match it. He was so crisp and confident in the ring you knew he was a cut above !
His theme is absolute GLORIOUS, one of the main reasons why Roode is popular, I love def rebel but i personally don't want them to change Roode's theme
I was a huge fan of Roode in TNA and I was so excited to see him debut in NXT. That theme song is awesome and the DIY Glorious Bomb thing was hilarious. Such a shame that WWE dropped the ball on Roode once he debuted on the main roster on SmackDown. He could've been a breath of fresh air as a world champion.
Glorious No I won't give in, I won't give in Til I'm victoious And I will defend, I will defend And I'll do what I must No I won't give in, I won't give in Oh so glorious Until the end, until the end
Mid 2010s WWE had so many underrated bangers for entrance themes, especially from NXT Undisputed Era, Shinsuke Nakamura, Andrade, Finn Balor, Wyatt Family, AJ Styles, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, and of course Bobby Roode Theres a streamer I watch who uses the GLORIOUS intro as their sound when they come into a Discord chat, and every time they come in on stream it scares everybody, and every time it's great.
I'm sorry Bobbie that you didn't have the true WWE career you're an amazing talent! I was so hype when you signed and NXT you was ballin! As long as you're at peace you're the man!
His theme was GLORIOUS, however my favorite theme of his was the last one he used in TNA, Off The Chain instrumental. The It Factor gimmick in general was one of my favorite versions of him
Roode was an excellent main card fighter. the fact that he was able to bring back robes (which have a history dating back to amateur wrestling) and classic movesets with little trouble speaks to his ability. WWE needs to bring him back.
I will never forget the NXT debut, and how I absolutely creased at the perfectly time spin on the podium with the song. Utter perfection, right behind that Nakamura debut with the film reel effect!
This was one of the greatest entrances ever. I saw him live at a house show and I was right by the ramp. This was also the last time luke Harper was wrestled in the RGV. Ficker was MASSIVE
There was a good point made that Bobby Roode was one of the first NXT main event during that era that people won with 1 finishers only, where not every championship was 3-5 finisher matches
I also played this song at my wedding however it was played after myself and wife walked back up the aisle after officially getting married as it was absolutely GLORIOUS 😁
Credits to Robert Roode though, he made the entrance music just as much as it supposedly made his WWE career. There's a reason why the music was just sitting at the library before he arrived. He's the glorious one.
The first time I saw that entrance I thought that was definitely a champion's entrance. If they weren't going to push him they should have saved it for someone they were really going to get behind
I watched NXT more when seen him and his battles as NXT champ mainly because of his theme song and the different entrances at NXT Takeover and other PLE
@@tequilasunrise9667I’m hoping they’ll use him as a GM to oppose Aldis, build a feud between Smackdown and Raw and if they both ever feel up to it, they can have a small brawl or maybe even a match, Roode said he was cleared but he’s happy in his role and tbh that’s amazing
wwe do this so many times, make a gimmick the main focus n overuse to sell merch until it gets dried up leaving the wrestler with nothing. His nxt run was him being smarter than his opponents n using their strengths against them. His glorious theme was just the cherry on the cake
I think the Glorious them was sort of a double-edged sword. It sort of over-shadowed him once the actual match started and sort of turned him into "Fun Novelty wrestler whose matches are secondary" instead of "Ultra capable wrestler who happens to have a great theme". Especially once it felt like his theme overtook the rest of his personality.
Music is probably the most important thing for a wrestler to help them get over the rock steve austin undertaker shawn Michaels cody Rhodes seth rollins the list is literally endless
Yeah man when I first saw Bobby roode I said hmmmm and I started watching wrestling a little bit more cause of that presentation they could and should have had him fly to number 1 contender fast
Hit that GLORIOUS subscribe button and watch the full interview with Bobby Roode on my main channel: ruclips.net/video/jolaqQnM_Z0/видео.html
Love It CVVCLIPS Bro.
His smackdown debut was insane. When that theme hit, people went nuts
Takeover Brooklyn II was my first time seeing it live. My video is gone from RUclips but everyone at Barclays singing was GLORIOUS. Possibly only topped by singing Nakamura's theme later in the main event.
Just sad WWE did next to nothing with him . Beer money in TNA was far better than anything he did in WWE
Yeah....too bad Vince thinking it was Smart for him to be a Face
@@eLite-Tiss91..yeah that's what killed him! He should have stayed a heel then organically morphed into a babyface

@@megafan2000This. My brother and I used to say the exac same thing. Everybody who came up from NXT was demoted.
@@Billy-bc8pk I would text him (NXT person) got the call. He'd reply back something like "NO!" then like Hunter please don't let me go!
Blame Vince he was too busy up Brock and Roman Azzes

2016 bobby roode was world champion material. black & gold nxt legend
he was world champion ... in tna
They massacred Roode and Nakamura in 2018
His entrance was simply Glorious
Coming out to that song on your wedding sounds badass 😄 Definitely a top ten entrance theme of all-time for me.
That was gonna be my plan.
I DID THAT!!!!!
Thanks for the unbelievable idea 😂🤜🏼
The song and the presentation were incredible but Bobby had the look and the charisma to match it.
He was so crisp and confident in the ring you knew he was a cut above !
Bobby looks like he's still in his prime TNA days 🤩🥰
His theme is absolute GLORIOUS, one of the main reasons why Roode is popular, I love def rebel but i personally don't want them to change Roode's theme
That song and entrance are easily in my top 5 favorite ever. The moment I saw and heard it, I was an instant Bobby Roode fan
CFO$ really did knock “Glorious Domination” outta the park, didn’t they? I always knew the theme was a banger, but now I just miss both even more.
I was a huge fan of Roode in TNA and I was so excited to see him debut in NXT. That theme song is awesome and the DIY Glorious Bomb thing was hilarious. GLORIOUS
Until the end
Until the end
Glorious
No I won't give in, I won't give in

And I will defend, I will defend
And I'll do what I must
No I won't give in, I won't give in
Oh so glorious

Fuck I hope he gets back in the ring. He deserves a big singles push on the main roster

I still have his theme as my ringtone.
I wish we got one good IC Title run with Roode.
I was at one of the NXT shows when he was champion and I absolutely loved the entrance.
got to meet him one time, really nice dude.
Honestly Bobby Roode looks like exactly when I was him in WWE, dude ages magestically.

Roode was an excellent main card fighter. the fact that he was able to bring back robes (which have a history dating back to amateur wrestling) and classic movesets with little trouble speaks to his ability. WWE needs to bring him back.
That entrance was very 🔥
It should be mandatory for every WWE 2K game from now until the end of time to include this.
I will never forget the NXT debut, and how I absolutely creased at the perfectly time spin on the podium with the song. Utter perfection, right behind that Nakamura debut with the film reel effect!
Proud to say it, it's my ringtone 😎
Thats glorious
Glorius Bobby Roode was amazing! the whole package was great.
One of the greatest entrances in wrestling history.
This was one of the greatest entrances ever. I saw him live at a house show and I was right by the ramp. This was also the last time luke Harper was wrestled in the RGV. Ficker was MASSIVE
Arguably the greatest theme song in modern times
HE'S GLORIOUSLY HEALED!
I would like to see more stuff about how entrance music is created for/assigned to people. It is one of my favorite things about pro wrestling.
There was a good point made that Bobby Roode was one of the first NXT main event during that era that people won with 1 finishers only, where not every championship was 3-5 finisher matches
I loved him in tna he was one of my favs when i was a child
This song was my ringtone once upon a time, absolutely love it
I was SO hoping when he turned baby face. When he came out the crowd was going to blow the roof off. Singing his theme it was awesome
Man I will miss those day's
That song was a broke man's Queen song... and it was amazing! One of the best WWE songs ever.
Was an amazing entrance
You are the one and only Glorious Bobby Roode and forever be the Glorious. ♥️✨🌟
never cared much for him but GAWD i love his music
he definetaly shouldve had a bigger run, love the glorious one
Another awesome talent under used in WWE, the list goes on n on n on
His Glorious theme is my iphone ringtone to this day.
I also played this song at my wedding however it was played after myself and wife walked back up the aisle after officially getting married as it was absolutely GLORIOUS 😁
The Toronto Take Over entrance -chef kiss
I wonder how many other absolute bangers are sitting in the WWE library, just waiting for the right moment...
Disturbed's version of triple h's theme is hidden deep within their library somewhere and i hope it is recovered someday, somehow!
Greatest entrance theme of the modern era imo.
I can't imagine Shinsuke walking out to Bobby Roode's theme song
He will forever be known to me as Big Bob
Makes me wonder what other ABSOLUTE BANGERS are in the WWE library just waiting for the right wrestler.
Kind of insane what just some entrance music can do for somebody.
They should make Bobby Roo gm or something on screen lol
If you're lucky enough to get to "seal the deal" on prom night, right before the deal gets done you gotta play this song as you enter the room...
Still my ringtone.
One of the wrestlers of that era they dropped the ball on, Roode, Ziggler and Bad News Barrett
Honorable Mention:
Damian Sandow
Rusev (Miro)
@@thomasfriday1 good call, you’re right
Ziggler had a good run the first half of his career in WWE. He was just there for too long.
OMG, now I know my wedding song!
I watched NXT more when seen him and his battles as NXT champ mainly because of his theme song and the different entrances at NXT Takeover and other PLE
The reason why that song is good for him is because he was Bound for Glory
its my ringtone
I'm still dreaming of him coming back surprisingly and beating Roman for the title, he is a world class athlete and should be used more
It was pure fate for Bobby to get that entrance theme, it was waiting on him.
WWE WRESTLEMANIA 40 2024 Bobby roode
When did he transition to producer? I had been wondering where he was and then saw him in a backstage recently and did the DiCaprio point.
When he got injured like a year ago. And the saddest thing is, he might never wrestle again

DIY doing the bits on NXT were perfect as well 😂
He should've be WWE Champ at least 3 times after at least one intercontinental champion reign.
How the Hell could someone in WWE hear that song and think “I know who this’ll fit PERFECTLY, Shinsuke Nakamura!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Glorious! No I won’t give in I won’t give in!!!
I loved beer money in tna anybody with me ? The music was awesome as well 😮
I listen to the song and I always have to strike the pose. Great song
Thanks for everything Roode. I'm glad you're putting your health first.
Sometimes songs can put a act to another level. Imagine if the undertaker started with a totally different theme, it helps the act
Straight 🔥
I played this song at my wedding
Top 10 Entrances/Themes of ALL TIME. They dropped the ball when they moved him up to the Main Roster. Should've been pushed as a world title heel.
wwe do this so many times, make a gimmick the main focus n overuse to sell merch until it gets dried up leaving the wrestler with nothing. His nxt run was him being smarter than his opponents n using their strengths against them. His glorious theme was just the cherry on the cake
A shame he never won the world title on the main roster. He was basically Ric Flair with the entrance theme and ring attire.
Shoutout to DIY for helping with the #GloriousBomb
NXT was special back in the day. Takeovers on Saturdays used to be a big deal. Man what went wrong
Looks great, man wait for you 1 more run🎉
Glorious is one of the best entrance theme.. together with Nakamura's and Sami's theme...
i still need beer money in wwe
Holy cow I totally forgot

He should've been push just alone for that entrance
This song transcends wrestling
It pays to be Roode!
I miss watching Bobby Roode wrestle. Hopefully we'll get at least one more "GLORIOUS" before he officially calls it quits.

Give him one last title run.
I just found out this man is 47 years old.
I'm going through a divorce right now. And the idea of using this as a wedding entrance song makes me kinda want to make *that* mistake again.
WWE didn’t do him right, but I’m glad we have the TNA years where he was utilized properly.
"You can be the greatest wrestler in the world, but if you don't have that connection with the audience you're just another guy"
Dallas cowboys play your song at games too lol
