  • How to make Instant Jello step by step from the box. This box mix dessert is a summer staple in my family. You can make this 3 ingredient recipe in almost any flavor imaginable, and there is no shortage of easy no bake recipes that can be made with Instant Jello.
    ↓↓↓↓↓ INSTANT JELLO RECIPE BELOW ↓↓↓↓↓
    PRINTABLE RECIPE: 🖨️ flouronmyfinge...
    INGREDIENTS:
    1 - 3 ounce box Instant Jello mix
    1 cup boiling water
    1 cup cold water
    INSTRUCTIONS:
    1. Pour the powdered gelatin into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
    2. Add boiling water to the gelatin mix, and stir for 2 minutes until it's completely dissolved.
    3. Stir in the cold water.
    4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the gelatin is firm and doesn't stick to your fingers.
    5. Once your Jello has firmed up, it's ready to eat. If you're making it for dessert, you can scoop some into a dish and top it off with whipped cream or Dream Whip.

    You would think it would be easy. I can pull off a 14 course Thanksgiving meal for 40 people but my jello does not jell. Nice video. Love orange too with cool whip.

    How to you keep it from getting sticky and rubbery at the bottom of the bowl?

    • @MelLockcuff

      This is usually not an issue if you whisk it together for a few minutes. You want to make sure everything is fully dissolved.

    MY PROBLEM IS WHEN TO ADD THE FRUIT WHEN YOU DO THE REGULAR WAY? cAN YOU PLEASE ANSWER THIS CONCERN. THANKS

    • @MelLockcuff
      @MelLockcuff  3 года назад

      Betty, the best way that I have found is to make the jello in layers. Mix up enough for a thin layer, allow it to gel up in the refrigerator, add fruit on top, and pour another layer of jello on top. Let this next layer gel up, and continue with more fruit or jello as needed. You can mix the fruit in at the very beginning, but it will likely all sink to the bottom.

    • @heathercanzoneri8951
      @heathercanzoneri8951 2 года назад

      Mix it in halfway through setting. No need for layering.

    • @MelLockcuff
      @MelLockcuff  3 года назад

      So long as your Jell-O is sealed in an airtight container, it doesn't really matter where you place it. I just stick it on whichever shelf has empty space.

    How do you avoid the skin layer that sometimes forms when the jello is chilled? I've heard a number of solutions: it has to do with how the mixture is settled, the jello has to be left out to cool for a little bit... I don't know what the right answer is exactly

    • @MelLockcuff
