- Gelatin, or Jello for those rich enough to afford name brand stuff. a simple, fun, and tasty dessert. super cheap and super easy.
1 package of flavored gelatin mix (like 50 cents, little bit more for the name brand stuff)
1 cup boiled water ( pennies)
1 cup cold water (slightly colder pennies)
less than a buck and feeds one fat guy once or a 3-4 people once.

I did this as an extra dessert for Christmas. Red on one side and green on the other of a nice divided dish. It looked so pretty, and went over big because people don't have jello as much anymore. A day or two later my cats knocked the nice dish off the counter and it's now broken. But after this we've all gained a new appreciation for jello!

Would it be easier to get a 2 cup glass measuring cup with water and put it in the microwave? And you can pour one cup out at a time and dissolve them separately. Lot less work.

My jello came out very watery kinda frozen from the top and goopy did I use too much water???
Sounds like it could be getting too cold 🥶. Freezing jello will mess it up and make something weird.

The fridge or freezer
Fridge if you freeze it the gelatin will get too cold and will be watery instead of solid.

To that channel is the best and this is the first time at eight I came across your RUclips video I’ve been axing for like two hours of faith hours how to make a homemade Jell-O and it kept showing me different things like how to make Jell-O packets and different stuff but thanks I actually made and I have successfully made a Jell-Oa Jell-O
Fridge or freezer
Fridge. You can put it in the freezer to quick set but you run the risk of it freezing and turning into watery goop. Watery Jello usually happens when it gets too cold to set properly.

Only for a little bit if you leave it in for too long and it gets too cold it will come out watery.

Assuming you got the mixture right try leaving it in the fridge longer. If that did not work maybe the fridge Temperature is just slightly too high but I have never heard of that being a thing.
