Just got the Dyson V 12 recently, and when the notification came on saying I need to clean the filter, I was clueless - thanks to your video, I feel a lot more confident (although I'm sure I'll have to do do a refresh (or 5) when I actually do it, lol

I have a Sebo and a Numatic. Both are bagged and the bags last for months. It is a clean operation to change the bags. Dyson has had its time in the sun but now their products are dirty to empty and require frequent cleaning, have limited power available, fragile in construction and super expensive.
You are right. I have to empty the bin every five minutes. Despite doing that regularly, it jams constantly. I have to take the whole vacuum apart and clean each segment, and it is not available to use for 24 hours while certain things dry. What a waste of $550. After two months of that, I bought a Shark for $150. I have had no problems, it does a good job, and the ease of use is amazing.

Ypou cant clean these properly. The gold bit blocks up and then it is an endless problem.

Good video. Here the important thing is how to clean the machine inside. Minute 13.10, thats the main important thing. How to clean that properly? Is it not possible to disassemble the machine? Thanks!
If you get a vacuum that will clean the dust and dirt out of the Dyson. Instaed ofbaamnging the bottom with a paint brush
Hi, great video. Thx for that. I have got one question. My rollers all have hair and dust between the wheels. How can I get that out? As the wheels don't spin anymore. Hopefully you have the golden tip for me. Greeting from Holland
Just had a look and it looks like the plate and wheels can be removed with a screwdriver or Torx drive screwdriver. Then it will give you access to hopefully get the dirt out and clean it.
On ALL Dyson videos I have NOT found any information about how to replace the LAZER bulb if ever it is broken or become un functional ?
Must admit i'm not sure as the technology is still pretty new and we've not had anyone report a malfunctioned bulb yet

I have had a bad experience with 3rd party spare filters. Bought some twice now and each time they have a ridiculoous whistle and you can just tell its not as good as an official dyson filter.

He skips several important things. He does not demonstrate how to clean out the storage bin. He does it off camera. Even more troublesome for me is that his arm is completely in the way when he reassembles the bin onto the main unit. I have had trouble lining this up. It is the reason that I watched the video. Got to the very end, and he did not show how to do this.

I diligently clean my Dyson handheld but it still stinks to high Heaven!! So I want to know how you do a FULL clean and get rid of any smells!!
when you do the reassembeling process hold your Dyson upside down.
You can see more clearly how to slide it correctly.
The 2 lines from the main unit and the other 2 lines from the Bin unit come together more smoothly because you have them in sight.
