Good show? I’m going to Hollywood Bowl show. Can’t wait to see him. Seen David every time he made the west coast run. Will never forget seeing him at Kodak theater in 2006 when they played echoes with Rick Wright
Thank you for the post. I was at the Royal Albert Hall with my wife for the David Gilmour gig on the opening night, 9th October 2024. I haven't seen Dave Gilmour since Pink Floyd played Earls Court on the Division Bell tour in 1994. Amazing night and an amazing band! As for the critics. David hasn't been out on tour for a long time and let's not forget that he's 78 years old! He still exudes the magic that he had when I first saw Floyd in 1981 playing The Wall. Beautiful night! Again, amazing band and David is such a legend! 🔥 🎸 💥 🔥
I get you. Only Nick can play this intro the way Nick played it. It's still very special to see the main man up there. What a glorious tune. One of the best ever recorded.
@gsrman8834 I don't think so. He sang most of it in the vocal range he used to sing "Time" when he was able to reach the notes. He is basically doing the "middle" of the vocal tracks, Greg is following him in the same range while there is someone singing it lower.
The main difference between London and Rome is, that in Rome he sang Time alone trading vocals with Greg. In London, he does his vocals with Ben Worsley.
@@moonpie3094 What are you talking about? They both sang on the original recording. The reason he's not singing his original part here is because he physically can't anymore, his voice is blown. He can still sing but at his age he's only got so much of his range left, it happens.

Saw him in 2016 at the bowl.. it was the best show of my entire life. Can't wait for round two!
it was the Gibson (formerly Universal) Amphitheater.

Brilliant, thanks for posting, definitely getting better as the tour rolls forward, this is tight from the band and DG.
Dave Gilmour will always be David Gilmour…🙏
Or David Gilmore...
@@fullsentimental997BLASPHEMEY IT IS GILMOUR 😂😂😂
Glad to see David adjusted his vocals. No shame in doing so 🎉
When I heard the Dark side for the first time 50 years ago, it was on a another level.
Nothing’s changed 🤘
@@josephcalitri5710Well the sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, shorter of breath and one day closer to death
David !!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The best !
DG1 is on another level! 💯🎸👌
He ripped that solo, holy hell.
I always get emotional on Richard Wright part in this song 😔
I miss nick mason 😢

@@masterjack5720 I know.imiss see hem playing comfortably numb on drums with David 😔

Actually - I love that Adam is one of very few drummers who got the point of drum part in Time..... it´s drum intro, not drum solo!
@@petrcejka2125 who said it was a drum solo ?
His voice is much better than the last time he sang Time.... Of course, he had some help from Greg and Guy.

Listen David is getting older yes he we need assistance. But I’m glad he’s not lip syncing

Put your phone away and enjoy the show!
He says watching a video of a phone recording.
His wife and daughter have taken over his life. King Lear.
Not the "torture" it was in Rome...of couse DG pretty much can't be heard singing anymore, just as well TBH.
Clean the cum out your ears bud
I'll pass on seeing sleepy Dave. He ain't even singing the song.
Yes he is
He never sang that part. Richard Wright sang it on the original Dark Side recording.

Clean the cum out your eyes. He is singing it, the second guitar player is taking the high part because he’s nearly 80.
