The climax of the evening was the subject of this recording - I have lost count of the times I have watched this and have to pinch myself to remember that I was actually there and part of that magnificent collective experience. My 2025's New Year's wish: I wish all the health of the world to Dave Gilmour. He's way too precious and the world simply needs him doing his guitar wizardry that only he is capable of. His guitar sounds flash my teen years before my eyes.
I'll never forget that glitter ball coming down in 1994 then opening up, I was stoned and thought god was coming for me. You weren't allowed to smok in the auditorium, which was quite a new thing back then, so PF gave out ciggies in the bar areas in the break. Or at least someone was lol.
I have seen a couple of uploads of this performance. One thing that repeatedly jumps out at me is the roar of the crowd BEFORE the outro solo has started
Probably. He's done a documentary and live concert blu ray package for his last 3 solo tours... just don't expect anything soon. Each official blu ray came out a over a year after the actual filmed concert, for example Live in Pompeii was filmed in July 2016 and was released in Nov 2017 😞
