Luckily for Fred, his best friend Barney Rubble (Rick Moranis), wife Wilma (Elizabeth Perkins) and her best friend Betty (Rosie O'Donnell) always have the big guy's back in this yabba-dabba-doo of an adventure! If there was ever a moment when the gang *needed* Captain Caveman, this was it.
Very underrated movie. Its just a cozy, silly, nostalgic gem. Kinda dumb, but sometimes dumb is fun.
Quick question, Bam Bam is strong enough to break through WALLS effortlessly. He couldn't of snapped the ropes around him and Pebbles why? Which in turn leaves one to wonder how Cliff kidnapped them in the first place. Kid could had knocked him around like a rag doll.
As my Dad used to say, it was in the script.
I guessed that he kidnapped the kids while they were sleeping. As for the ropes he was scared and plus if he was to break out of the ropes he would have also hurt Pebbles.
You try moving your arms without leverage and see how it works. Also, drugs and weapons can do wonders when kidnapping people.
Even if Bamm Bamm was awake when Cliff came for the kids, who's to say Cliff didn't say something like "You give me any trouble and your little girlfriend here gets it"? Bamm Bamm may have not had the chance to attack Cliff without hurting Pebbles.
