Thanks so much my man. Iv been going crazy to set the radio on mine after it got resetted. All good now. Thanks a ton
You're welcome , glad I could help
That's the exact station I'm trying to get. I have an Idoing 9" android 12. I changed it to America. It really helped with the FM, but I still don't get a single AM station. Love the radio otherwise, but this is killer. Don't know what I'll do if I can't get it sorted. Also having problems with the HDMI second screen for most apps, but that's another story.
No even single AM station, that only happens to me when I forgot to connect the antenna
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos I was researching some more. I might have a factory antenna booster installed in the car that needs power. I thought that wire was for a power retractable antenna. I have to connect it, and see if that helps.
That was it. Never knew antenna amps were a thing. Now I get more AM and FM stations than I did my old radio.
@@toastranger72 Glad you figure it out. And thanks for keeping us updated, this will help others in the future. thanks.
Good information, thanks for sharing.
5:33 also select USA for North America, but also in Latin America, South America, Dutch Caribbean, Some French overseas territories in North America (St Pierre et Miquelon), in Caribbean (Saint Martin), uses odd frequencies for FM, FM stations in French Guiana (French overseas territory in South America) uses even frequencies. Falkland Islands (UK overseas territory in South America) uses even frequencies on FM and few on 10 kHz steps on AM. Falkland Islands falls under North American Radio Broadcasting Act, instead of 1975 Geneva Protocol for use in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
South American country, Suriname, they used 10 kHz step on AM and odd frequencies on FM. There are some cars in Suriname imported from Japan.
Thank you I was confused how to fix mine.
You are welcome.
So what about for someone living in Jamaica, not recall seeing that option
Sorry I don't know what is the radio area for Jamaica. You can try the option one by one if it will work for you. Or you can email one of the seller from AliExpress for sure they can give you the answer, thanks.
Ok thanks much..@@ruvrandomusefulvideos
5:22 can you also try to tune to 1134 kHz if China, Europe, Japan and OIRT as Area, so it will distort the sound of AM frequency in 4 kHz off? So you know the bandwidth quality of AM tuner.
Okay I will try that
3:58 HOW ABOUT OIRT FM? Frequency range from 65 - 74 MHz, also includes LW (Longwave)?
QIRT is 64 - 73.90 sorry not sure
After change to north America,USA not available, car scan still random, some stations play ok when stopped but not good up down signal when driving ??
Android 12 so not older version
Has rds ta af both on off no difference
Maybe antenna itself issue ?
I had same signal issue in some areas while driving before, I upgraded my antenna and it solve the problem.
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos I am having the issue of sound volume fading in/out with Android radio while driving. Stock radio never did this. Have you tried a FM Car Antenna Amplifier?
@@bobsoft What kind of antenna do you have in the car? I would try to upgrade the antenna to a longer one, also make sure that the stock car antenna does not have an amplifier module that getting a supply from the stereo.
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos I have a 07 Mazda 3 that has a whip type antenna and does not have an amplifier module. I cant get any AM stations like AM 730 I do get FM but it sometimes fades in/out.
Yes Android 12 actually is newer, I just installed one on my neighbor's Mazda 2. Anyway, yes I would try upgrading the antenna.
Many Thanks.
Most welcome!
What region i will use in the Philippine?
If you have exactly same option as my head unit, try Taiwan.
I change the region to asia(Australia) still I can't get any station un my headunit
@@neiljayson05 Did you try Taiwan? You don't get any radio station at all? If yes, check if you connected the antenna
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos no option for taiwan for asia (Australia) only. I already check the connection of the antena
Do you have a link to the tablet / radio?

Why Asia is not listing in radio settings
Yes Asia is not listed
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos So which I will select on this settings. Because I am from Asia. (India)
@@intradsl Try USA
what is the name of the app to download it
Sorry what apps? The AM/FM is already installed on the radio.
SA is not listed, whicn one must i choose
USA
Why dose radio not come on when start car
Double check your connection, mine start automatically as soon as I turn the key to accessory.
Did you fix this? Mine also after a year of use does not turn on when i start the car, i have to first start car in power only mode and then turn on engine... Did you fix?
The problem is when i drive the fm got weaker and static
Mine FM has no issue at all, only the AM got static in some area while driving. May be try upgrading your antenna if possible.
You might have interference from another wire close to the antenna wire going to the radio. I had a power wire for the second screen too close. I moved it, helped a lot.
I have android 10 9” and I changed the settings to USA and still very static. My old radio was fine
After changing to USA did you run auto search again?
Is your antenna properly connected?
@@klauskugelmann7719 i ran auto search and I get some channels not like before and antenna properly installed
@@klauskugelmann7719 yes and ran auto search and have some stations but not like before
@@rudyarias4102 I saw several reviews for Android Head Units bought on amazon and they said, the tuner inside seems to be very low quality - maybe yours is also.
I can’t change to am radio
Any suggestions
Some Android stereo does not have AM tuner. Does it come with user manual?
