    Thank you for sharing how to "tethered" a D4 and how informative you showed what else is needed. 👏👏👏

      Glad it was helpful! 🙏🏻If you want to see tethered shooting demonstrated, I can recommend Daniel Norton. He has made some very illustrative videos on the subject. 👌

    Keep on making D4 videos! I love to watch them even though I don't have one 😂
    Happy with my D7500 but have always dream of getting a big pro body.
    But most likely going to upgrade to mirrorless in the future.

    Hello Frederick, thank you for your contribution to the Nikon D4 of a great legend. I really enjoy watching your videos. But why are you still using cables? The WT-5 would make the D4 internet-capable. The D4 could then also be controlled remotely via the iPad or cell phone. It's a fantastic camera that hasn't lost its relevance! Warm greetings. Is it true? I hear a Danish accent? 😊

      Yes indeed - a Danish accent 🇩🇰🙂The wt-5 would cost more than my D4, so that is one good reason for not using it. And I mostly need the functionality for portrait shooting and then a cable works fine. And it works with my Canon cameras too. So the cost/benefit ratio for the cable for my needs is hard to beat imho 🤗

    That's pretty cool. I didn't know that was possible. This would be great for ebay listings. It will really speed up the work flow! Thanks

    Thanks for the cool hint - I wasn't aware of this functionality. How long does it take to transfer a RAW file to the computer? (it looks as if something was cut out of the video)

      It's fast. A few seconds at most is my guess.

      I tried it using an Ethernet cable - for fun, just because the d4 has a port 🙂 Takes around 2-3 seconds

    Do you know of cheaper software?

    • @frederikboving
      @frederikboving  Год назад +1

      NX tether is Nikons software and it is free but I'm afraid it doesn't support the D4 according to the specs sheet although I haven't tried it.

      @@frederikboving i will check it out. I use d4 mainly for sports. But will try my d750.
