I've owned this machine for like 6 years now. Maybe 7. I was the second group of pre-buys. Never used it for laser. Now that I have my new F350 to take over the print jobs I'm looking forward to learning the laser. I am very grateful to find this video.
I hope this thread is still being looked at. I am trying to do the laser adjustment so that the laser light is smaller than the black dot. But the light never changes size. It stays at about 1/8th of an inch. Any ideas?
I would like to do the very same thing. On timestamp 3:04 you see the laser is actually on. I do not know how to switch on the laser. There are no controls or else for it. On the panel I can switch the laser on. But it automatically turns off as soon as I move just one step in any direction. Then on 3:10 it shows how to adjust the height of the laser module. Same problem as above: I cannot switch on the laser and hence cannot adjust the height. Please advise on how to switch on the laser.
So with mine, I had to turn off the machine and turn it on again. Then, I was able to manually turn it on from the machines touch screen. It was a little confusing at first. Luban is maybe not the best control software. I think I'm going to try lightburn.
Hi, I have issues with my laser module. Once ai have finished changing module, turned it on and no laser beam comes out. Is there any step I’m missing? Is there a file that I need to download first? I can’t seem to find anything online.
I just got mine and I am having problems with the snapmaker luban 3.8. I uploaded the photo and it very blurry and when I engrave it’s horrible. I ve been looking over the internet if there is a trick but nothing comes up. Very disappointed

I think this video just pushed me over the line....now to convince the ‘boss’

Does anyone know what laser power setting you should use for different types of wood?

Mine does not allow to load Gcode to workspace, there is a stop sign for a click. Any idea how to move on?
Hi. Could you send us a screenshot of the error notification via support@snapmaker.com?
@@Snapmaker yes and maybe share all the resolved issues with us here so we know too?

I dont appear to have the option to insert a picture, is there something I am doing wrong?
What version of Luban are you using? If it's V3.15, you can click "Add" at the top left corner of the canvas to insert a picture.
Might be better buying individually
i followed this video on the new version of crappy sw and none of it is in the same place anymore.

I am using the newest Luban but no files types appear to be able to open in the program. What am I doing wrong?
Hi! You could send us an email via support@snapmaker.com to give us more info about that error, and we'll help you solve it out.
@@Snapmaker thank you for your reply, I was trying to open files from the menu and not with the "Add" button. Problem solved, works great!
@Lauren B Reading this actually solved my problem too. Thanks!
I'm very unimpressed that it takes 6 hrs to laser print a picture same size as that cat.
Супер👍👍👍👍💥🇷🇺😃😉
video is not usable after 2:10 , worst tutorial ever. Current software is different, cant acomplish anything with this, very dissapointed!
