At this point, having one of your videos playing when I eat dinner is pretty much a must. I absolutely MUST try authentic Japanese karaage at some point in my life.
If they marinate the chicken with ginger it’s soooo good. Adam Liaw has a RUclips channel that shows you how to make it, his wife is Japanese and he is very knowledgeable.
Satoshi giving "the look" after eating the karaage: "Hellooo!" 😂 I love you guys! And I'm going to be a goofball again and tell you how handsone you both are. It strikes me every time I see you, so you're going to have to get used to my fangirl fawning. Hahaha! The food all looked delicious! I think my favorites would have been the ebi and tamago tempura and the fruit ice cream bars. Oishii! Thank you for this fun and delicious walk in Kyoto! 💙💜
I always feel so comforted watching your videos. My partner and I traveled to Kyoto this past May and were pleased to have found a lot of allergen friendly restaurants while visiting!! It would be awesome to have a food tour of your favorite allergen friendly restaurants! Kyoto Engine was an incredible gluten free ramen shop!!
A couple of questions/comments on this video.... 1. Which skin care products are you guys using? you guys look like 7 years younger! 2. Awesome food, really enjoyed all the places you are recommending, thanks for this compilation. 3. You guys look radiant and with a great and happy vibe!
Satoshi's flirtatious little hello when he was trying the karaage had me in stitches 😂 I feel u Satoshi, sometimes fried chicken is so good you just have to flirt with it😅

Kyoto has been on my long list of places to go someday. Everything looked so good. Especially the chicken and the ice cream with dango. I love salty/savory things with sweet things. That combination sounds so yummy.❤
Oh wow. You're real close to Gion Koh where I stayed in Kyoto for a few days. LOVED that whole area of the Gion District. Beautiful and nearby Kiyomizu-dera is such a great temple to visit. Definitely a must try area.
Thanks so much for creating this video and sharing. My husband and I are in Kyoto now for two weeks and tomorrow we plan on visiting the neighborhood you just featured in this video. We’ll be sure to try as many treats as you did. That Karrage chicken looks amazing! After Kyoto we take the Shinkansen to Tokyo where we’ll spend our last 8 days in Japan. We were in Okinawa to start and visited three places you guys have visited. Your videos have been so helpful on our travels in Japan. And also your 7 11 videos!

I love to try the blue snacks!!! It is also located in my favourite area of Kyoto. And the wagashi on skewers. And my husband would even go back to Kyoto in summer (he wasn't that fond of the heat) to try the kara age. And those popsicles..... well basically everything in this video I would like to try hahaha Though I like rstaurant videos, I love the street food ones the most. Because there is all different things. I usually find the shops with great looking snack on google maps; if I'm in the area I can look up maps to get some inspiration, so I have a destination in mind and wander over there seeing what else I can find.
I had the wagashi skewer at the exact same space in spring and it actually look like a "spring collection" 🙂It was so good eventhough I had no idea what I was eating. Thanks to you guys, I know what it was.
i most imagined myself at the 2nd place you stopped. at the back garden with lanterns and wind chimes with the MATCHA premium drink. great job guys. totally enjoyed your adventures. domo arigato for sharing.
Bottled matcha tea, genius. Some German bottled juice producers have taken on to including a little matcha powder in their green fruit and veg juice mixes, but that's not the same.
The dialects of the Japanese language fall into two primary clades, Eastern (including Tokyo) and Western (including Kyoto and Osaka), with the dialects of Kyushu and Hachijō Island often distinguished as additional branches, the latter perhaps the most divergent of all. The Ryukyuan languages of Okinawa Prefecture and the southern islands of Kagoshima Prefecture form a separate branch of the Japonic family, and are not Japanese dialects, although they are sometimes referred to as such.
The colors of many of the foods you try are so intense they have to be artificial. I would worry about consuming so much artificial color because testing continues to discover that these substances are carcinogenic or otherwise not healthy.

In the different prefectures do the people speak a different dialect? Love your videos ❤

ストリートフードも良いですが、食べ歩きのせいで歩道をゴミだらけにしない様に各店舗前で食べ終わらせてゴミを回収出来るようにするのが、昨今のオーバーツーリズムでゴミが溢れる京都の為になると思います。
Chicken looked great omggggg and tempera
These all sound delicious. (Besides the malt, I don't like alcohol.)
