    I had a bug and a twig in the elbow out of tank on my big tractor, took months to figure out.
    Cannot tell you how many times i bled diesel lines.
    So very important to check those elbows to tank

    Question, my zrtur. n muffler bolts fell out. Put new sst in and tightened. They also came out. Did I do wrong using sst? Any hi temp threa locker?

    • @IndRepair
      @IndRepair  Год назад +1

      We normally don't use SST because they are softer and can cause them to seize to the aluminum many times. A coat of oil sometimes helps slightly with this issue if you are going to use them. Are the threads pretty well gone at this point or are they ok?

      @@IndRepair threads in good shape. They were tight when done. Normally never used, thought I would try. Will buy reg. Allen heads this time. Any type of third locker suitable with that heat?

      @@steveriggenbach90 Vibra Tite 19960 works well just make sure you cure it properly before putting the mower in use. I have only used it a couple times in extreme cases but it sure works well. Doesn't really seem quite as tight as a red Locktite but will work in the high heat

      I have only ever worked on a few but from every one I have seen they look great but are a very poor quality. They seem to be made cheap as possible and do not stand up over time. Thanks for watching!

      @@bobhaddock957 Ha! Never heard that one before for Encore but some people will say anything to get a sale...I would check further into it before buying, last one I saw had good welding on top of the deck and the underside was just barely tacked and looked like a 5 year old did it
