Hello, thank you for the video. I installed a 240 GB SATA SSD to my Lenovo Gaming Ideapad computer, but the computer did not turn on. Esc and power buttons are blinking, what should I do?
Yes, I used double sided tap to stick the ssd and there will be plenty of space after removing the case so thicker thermal can be used as well. As the space can accomodate 3.5mm hdd so enough space
I have same laptop but left slot 2280 already occupied by sdd but small Size 2242 slot empty can i install big size sdd in small size ssd stol using dual side tape is this safe ?
hey i have 5800h rtx 3060 model with only two slot of ssd nvme. i have 1tb in one slot and 512gb in other. i want to know can i add 2tb in one slot or its a 1tb limit in one slot
Dude, are you eating chips? There's a weird distracting sound coming from you :D I don't mean the talking sounds..crunching sounds :d by the way thanks for video.
Done thank you
this setup only for ssd. and if you are curious then buy a external hdd ssd cover case.
Using the replaced HDD as external HDD
So do you not need to use the silver thing in which the HDD was attached at the very first?
That silver thing was there just to hold the HDD
Ingenious thank you bro
My pleasure
is this safe? the silver box of the sata was that big for what reason? and is the ssd going to overheat?
That silver box was there just to hold the hdd properly and i dont think that the sdd is gonna overheat.

What tape did you use for the 2.5inch ssd? Is it double sided? What thermal pad thickness you need?

Someone has done that, if you follow comments you will find it. But it's not suggested, some components which come between might block.
