I've been crocheting for 2 years now, but I don't have anything to show for it because I've gifted everything and never took photos. Gonna start taking pics from now on. You've gotten so good!
Get a child's t-shirt at a thrift store approximately the size of the bag, cut off the top ( neckline and sleeves)to make a square, stitch the bottom, and turn inside out. You can handstich the hemmed edge to the top of the granny bag creating a quick.lining....
i know i’m kinda late to this video but i just discovered your channel and i actually have found a good free bee pattern on ribblr that i have used a couple times and is posted on my crochet channel (i’ll comment it) but yeah i’ll add the link under this comment 💖
hey!! this is my crochet channel where the bee is at. i can’t figure out how to link the pattern from ribblr but it is by ‘katiebeingcreative’ and it is the “candy corn bee” pattern. it includes alterations for a normal bee which is what i used for mine. i hope this is helpful for you 😊😊
First comment and tenth subscriber. I bought a crochet plushie kit to try and see if i like crotching. I already sew so i wanna try crotchet. I am a complete noob so seeing your progress gves me a little hope.
For the Christmas sweater you made if you want the cuffs tighter to bunch up the sleeves like you said you can change the cuffs to the traditional type of cuffs people use for cardigans. It looks like you just did straight rows for the cuffs on the sleeves but, there's a lot of tutorials on how to do cuffs on cradigans. Sorry if this is a bit wordy I wasn't sure on how to word it lol.
For the patches and resewing them I recommend the invisible mattress stitch that one holds up pretty good. Most people I think use a sewing needle for that stitch however, I use the crochet hook and do like slip stitches hopefully this is helpful for you.

Okay but I'm obsessed with your "fail cow". He's so cute!

I think you’re doing great 👍🏻 On your granny square bag it would be very easy to sew a lining for it. Just a suggestion. 😉
Maybe I will do that at some point to help make the bag sturdier. Thanks!
@@Emmi.Briones you are very welcome. A simple lining will be things from falling out. 😉👍🏻
Have a great rest of your day.
Keep it up I love it all its a learning process
That cow is adorable. those issues are only visible to you.
