Hey Bro so I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue that I am trying to change my shift knob for and I am having hard time finding which specific adapter I should get whether it’s the 12x1.25 or 16x1.5 but I did some research that mostly all nissans have the same thread and knob size but is there really a difference between the two adapters or the 16x1.5 should fit my rogue since it fit your 370z?

Its kind of tricky at times i would stick it up to the top a bit more if i remember correctly then would tighten it with the allen screw. If it lets me go into reverse ect when i push down thats how i knew it was on correctly.

HE DID IT WRONG!!! He put the fit shaft upside down and also, he didn't put it far down enough. if you're able to wiggle it by pulling it upward it WASNT done properly, it should not pull up at all for safety purposes. I have this and did the install myself. good tutorial and visualization otherwise tho :)
@@healthcaregrim7641 it may be, i didnt realize but i had that same issue a while ago and couldnt find the cause of it but it resolved itself after a day so that could be the issue

Can you use other shift knobs or do you have to use the one that came with it?
To make it look better and not like you added it, you should install it with the screws facing to dashboard, then you wont see screw.

The 14 didn’t fit on my z and the 16 is too loose! When I put the adapter on with the 16 it’s very wobbly
