And it is because it would be considered social and professional suicide to refuse. Because in England you advance by who you associate with and what school you when to. It rules most things including how high you advance in the job. There are three schools in England, Oxford, Cambridge, Eton if you went to those schools the sky is the limit. But if you didn't go to those schools you have to depend on your who you know, or receiving honours or titles for your work to advance socially. I remember last year when the Sussexes spoke out on Black history month( which most of us in the USA didn't even know the uk had) they were batty over them talking about they( Uk) needed to acknowledge their wrongs against people of color, But guess what .... The rf or any one else said anything about black history month this year!!!!! Sorry , no offense, but as you said " black people" are used as "Props" for that unroyal family.
